My question is does anyone care who killed Austin still? That's not me being snarky, but a serious question. I know it's still brought up, but there isn't a lot of urgency there on the show to figure it out lol. I definitely don't think initial idea was for it to be Ava because it seems to clearly be a male. I wouldn't care if the show just changed it and made it Ava though.

I have long suspected Everett would somehow be tied to Nick, but the lack of anyone noticing the resemblance until now threw me off. I wonder if they re-worked the direction of this story. Honestly, with the glacial pace this story moved at in the beginning, I am wondering if they just hired Blake Berris first and Ron was just writing this story on the fly. I don't know if I can explain how I feel about the story, but it's never felt like it's had a solid direction in the way the other stories on the canvas do. I don't think Jackee is a great dramatic actress at all. I think she's much better at comedic or OTT moments. I am pretty used to her delivery now, so the Marlena/Paulina scenes were fine to me, but I still don't think this type of material is Jackee's strong suit. I barely even think of the logistics of this Clyde stuff because it makes no sense neither Ava nor Stefan can get rid of Clyde with all their connections.

I feel like this HP convo becomes circular very quickly every time we have it. Some people feel the way @Vee and I do. Some feel the complete opposite. I totally understand. No one is saying what HP did wasn't absolutely awful and we all want her to pay for her crime and get help and we wish the victims well. I believe I used the word "mistake" and perhaps crime would have been more accurate.

Gina was adopted by a wealthy family and was embarrassed by her upbringing. It was Brenda that visited her and tried to get her to reunite with Jagger and help find Mike/Stone. She ends up being slightly receptive, but still wants to keep her distance. I think Jagger, Stone, and Gina were full siblings. Jagger was just the oldest. I can't recall hearing anything otherwise and the good old internet lists them as full siblings. Gina was just supposed to be a bit younger (Nikki Cox doesn't really look that young, but...) and got adopted fairly quickly. Their family makeup is a bit confusing just because I don't think we get a lot of clarity on why the parents left or how long Jagger was raising them before CPS got involved. Yeah, I don't know if Karen was 100% cool with it all, but she had moved on with her life and John and Scotty act like Sonny was the one that killed her. Sonny was absolutely wrong, but Karen made a decent life for herself no thanks to Jagger either!

Exactly. I have to say I enjoyed the Maxie/Spinelli and Maxie/Felicia scenes. Everyone had a very strong point of view and no one was really wrong. I find the Tracy/Gregory stuff not exactly interesting, but I do like the way the actors are playing it. We need to move Alexis out of the mix because I actually don't find that portion of the triangle to be exciting at all. I will never understand why Lucy/Kevin/Scott are on this show currently and they do nothing with Christina (or Serena, but that's been said to death here).

Again, I don't know much about HP at all. Before this incident I never heard anything bad about her and she seemed well liked. Frank can hold a grudge and be angry and upset and probably won't re-hire her and that's understandable. I don't think it's impossible to think a new regime may hire her down the road. Listen, HP's life and career isn't a cause I care deeply about. I have no idea if this is an isolated incident and she feels remorse and has more clarity now that she is supposedly sober or if she is going to just make more bad decisions. She's young and this can go several ways for her. I just don't think she necessarily will be condemned to never working again for the rest of her life because of it. That's it. I am truly not advocating for Halley or condoning any of her behavior.

It seemed to be a source of confusion in several places, so I made the same assumptions lol. I think some of the wording in the scenes may have been slightly confusing because they were talking about Tracy's wedding dress as well, but the dress they took out of the box at the end of the show was Lois's dress. I don't care about Molly at all and don't mind the new one that much. I just don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Haley Pullos will come back down the road. If she completes her sentence and gets help I just don't understand why she wouldn't get a chance in a few (or several) years. She made a horrible mistake, but people do make mistakes and learn from them. There are many other soap stars that privately and publicly have struggled and gotten hired and re-hired over and over. But then again, Haley Pullos may be a nightmare and awful to work with and GH is glad to be rid of her lol.

Unlike Stone, who originally called Karen Carrie too, Sonny just never decided to use her given name because he's a jerk. Even when they met on PC again I am pretty sure he still called her "Carrie", but they also made peace and I do believe Sonny apologized and she accepted. So Jagger can be mad, but Karen herself had gotten over it.

I was going to trigger warn the clip, but the Sonny/karen scene was so brief and they don't pop up again. I got a little ill when Sonny mentioned Karen's birthday the other day and called her "Cari" to Jagger. 🤮 Way to remind us you are a creep. Also, Sonny knew Karen for a few months I doubt he knows her birthday. Especially since it seems both Jagger and Sonny forgot Brenda exists. What does a girl need to do to get a Brenda mention these days?🥲 Not a whole conversation or anything just one tiny mention to give my heart hope.

The way Jane Elliot speaks about Lila never fails to get me misty eyed. There is such depth of emotion there even in just a few sentences. I meant to say this a few days ago, but I also don't understand why some people on here and social media were confused about Lois/Lila's dress. Brooklyn's dress she tried on was just some random (ugly, unflattering) dress, Lois described her own dress accurately, Brooklyn looked at a picture of it on her phone, and she opens a box Tracy gives her at the end showing Lois/Lila's dress. Brook never tried on Lila's dress. I saw the SM posts before I watched the episode and thought the show was being lazy, but the show was very clear about the dresses and the scenes were quite nice. So basically I am saying I totally shouldn't speak before watching the show lol.

They are really well written. I knew they grew up without parents, but their parents just abandoned them all? Not that there would be a valid reason, but I don't think we ever got any reason why both parents just left and never came looking for them. It makes Stone's life that much more tragic.

I couldn't find the Sonny scene I was looking for, but I did find some scenes where Jagger and Stone first see one another. And Jagger calls Stone "Mike" and Stone calls John-Jagger, so Jagger had his nickname for a long time. He doesn't say why he goes by Stone, but just says he goes by Stone now. Also......Michael Sutton really grew as in actor in his time on GH. He's pretty green here. I am also curious how Jagger, who isn't more than 2 or 3 years older than Stone would be able to raise his two siblings by himself.

If I can find the scene I will post it in the Classic thread. I can't remember who Sonny was even talking to about it. I think it might have been Lily or Luke. I think the show probably needed a cute story about how Sonny came upon a random teenage ward. It's Sonny. He probably thinks that is the coolest nickname ever invented next to his own.

Yeah, Sonny said there were too many Michaels and had an aversion to the name because of his dad. He gave Stone the name Stone because he reminded him of a rolling stone going from place to place. This is after Stone stole Sonny's boombox and Sonny tracked him down and took him in. Because he was literally a homeless teenager. I have no idea how Jagger got his nickname. Probably from his group of friends that tried to rob Kelly's when he first appeared. The Cates siblings were split up pretty young and didn't give one another the cool nicknames.

I haven't even tried the you tube links yet. It's a shame because you can buy Night shift 1 on Amazon, but season 2 is a ghost. Agreed about any other dark hunk for Jagger. I cringe every time he says I go by John now. Like, bro, you named you own kid Stone. Last I checked that was a silly nickname Sonny gave your brother.

The military thing is probably what throws me the most if Dex was Stone. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility, but I think it might be insulting to backpedal on the autism so much. But I am no expert and don't want to speak about things I don't really know much about. If we had to make Dex Jagger's son I would probably just make him some long lost son he didn't know about or something. I am not advocating more story for Dex to be clear though! Yup! And no one will be sad about it. Well, the one thing I can say about CM is he does manage to find work all the time.
