I don't think it would bother me. I can see it. I just feel weird with another Abby playing Kristina who is a generation younger than her plus Lulu having two teen children. I do think Mansi projects younger than Miller though for whatever reason. ETA-I just realized Mansi is actually a year older than Miller lol. It has to be the way the two style themselves.

I am not at all against this suggestion, but isn't MM a bit young for Lulu? She's only 35. Although they styled her like an old lady on Days so she could probably make it work.

If that's the case it's a dumb strategy. Nothing happens the next day either lol. It seem PM/EK are really focusing on dialogue (which is their known strength) and not moving anything along. Both of these would be great for me.

When the show's Friday cliffhanger was Jason staring off in space-any action is welcome. So many guests at the wedding could be taken out and I wouldn't be sad.

I love that idea. I personally would swap Ava out with Natalia (and have Natalia be a casualty) just so the idea that Ava is linked to Pikeman or whoever and is in on it somehow.

Isn't there an actual Starbucks like coffee house for Corinthos Coffee in PC? And people used to rave about the coffee? I did laugh when Jagger, Jason, and Anna were all trying to contemplate how to talk to Carly in the most childish, nonchalant way so she would fly off the handle instead of just telling Carly directly to shut the eff up for once in her life. I do understand that is a difficult task though.

Jason really appears to be a one man organization at the coffee warehouse. I haven't seen a single employee and he is hauling those coffee beans around himself. With the approximately 5 visitors he gets a day to have long talks with him I don't know how the business runs. So are they just moving Natalia in and Ava out with Sonny? Ava's still up to something, but I thought they were going to go romantic with Sonny/Ava. I guess she can go full on villain now. Natalia said she's going through a separation and had a son from a previous relationship (which to me implies unmarried). Doesn't seem like she's devoutly religious and just an awful person with no religious mindset clouding her judgement. So Joss is going to be an environmental science major? 🙄. Sure, why not? I am sure she will use that for years to come in PC. Also, such a weak Friday cliffhanger...

I think a different story would have played out if AZ wasn't fired/left/whatever etc. Facts are they need to break up EJ/Nicole pretty quickly. The only thing I could think of to explain this is that EJ let his anger go more easily since the child was his and now that it's Eric/Nicole's child it brought that anger back to the surface and he realized he doesn't forgive the indiscretion* now. *I don't even know what to call the sex/affair/drugging situation.

He does. That's why I didn't rewind because I wanted to keep the canon in my head that EJ didn't want Nicole to have Jude because it wasn't his royal blood. I agree EJ works better as a villain. I just think it's such a horrible thing to do to Nicole. EJ did seem to really care about her and saw how devastated she was. I thought EJ changed just enough to be above that especially since he's been in similar shoes with Sydney.

Carly should just take it off the menu. I think it was specifically Kelly's BLT's Heather loved although I think almost anyone can make a BLT.

The Chanel drama seems warranted and I think RB did a really good job today. CB acted the same way Johnny does everyday 😂, so he wasn't stretching himself much. The Holly/Nicole fight when from 0 to insanity so quick though lol. I don't know why Holly thought Nicole would let her go to prom especially without asking or making any concessions or compromises. Actually, I question Aaron's parents for letting him go to prom with the girl that just OD'd on drugs and lied, forcing her last bf to go to juvie.😂 Did EJ ask Rolf if Jude was just a "commoner" when he got the test results? I didn't rewind, but if so, hilarious.

I like the idea of a lot of things culminating at Brook Lynn and Chase's wedding. I just wish I cared about the couple. It's hard to be excited about a wedding I could care less about.

I thought about that possibility as well. It seems plausible. It doesn't seem like fired guy would care about SR or DH's needs more than the new regime, but it's possible.

The strangest one to me was Dante. He loved his job! I know he just got severely injured, but that was surprising to me. I know Sam is much more worried about her cop boyfriend's safety than she ever was about procreating with a mob hitman, but character growth for Sam I guess? You would think PM/EK would want to quickly move along the stories that aren't theirs and just start fresh. I really get the Jason return story was probably top priority I just hope they are really looking at what stories and what characters actually work.

I can't tell you the exact timing of their last scenes. The rift seem to become clear after the DH's returned in 2011. I think DH/SR had 5 scenes together total in the 2011-2023 period and maybe one where they actually spoke more than a few words to one another. It was strange at many points although it didn't really affect the show. It was just weird Marlena/Maggie didn't seem to be friends anymore. Once RC/Scabs/Whoever decided to make John a major player in this Konstantin saga I think it became too hard to keep Marlena out of the story. Plus, the canon on the show was always that Marlena/Maggie were still good friends just mostly off screen or something. I basically think that's the case. And it's not like SR/DH have ever come out and said they had issues. It was just obvious.

I wonder how the ELR casting came about. I understand why the show hired her even if the show has 700 cast members already, but this was the pitch? Blaze/Kristina already have about a million different obstacles to begin with. Let's just add a stage mother and maybe a brother to all this. And Kristina/Blaze aren't even worth that much effort! I absolutely agree FV and GH have completely outdated ideas. The show is lacking in cliff hangers while practically every single character is changing careers, getting new hips and/or new personalities, or talking about Pikeman/Jason/Mob/FBI. I have been on the fence about PM/EK so far and don't want to judge too quickly, but I almost feel like the show needs to deep breathe a bit, cut out dead weight, and end some stories first before jumping head long into a bunch of new ideas.

Is it his last episode? It didn't feel like it. I'll be honest after I heard Burton was back to GH I checked out on the entire story even though I actually like Harris and I think Harris/Ava are cute. No point in investing.

It's ridiculous seriously. And Natalia doesn't actually talk or reference religion very often. She's got no problem hanging out with Sonny. It makes no sense and I think GH is very dated in a lot of ways and think their audience would be shocked by a queer singer in the year 2024. And that's why we get all the baby stories.

I agree too, but I don't think anyone has the gall to tell Deidre or Suzanne to act like adults and as long as everyone shows up and says their lines Days is cool with it. Their scenes were technically fine. The point and the story came across. It just was a bit unbelievable Marlena/Maggie were friends for 45 years by the way they were acting. John did say it was important Marlena was there because Maggie trusts her so much today, so I guess there is that. I kept thinking the other new cop (not Goldman) was also suspicious so I thought they might be working together. He hasn't appeared again so probably not.

They were. Like laughing, hugging, and all.

Believe it or not they were still pretty close after that.

Days continues to have a lot of extraneous details in their plots that don't matter. So something can be said and it will literally have nothing to do with anything and the show just moves on or completely drops it lol. If @AbcNbc247 can't recall, no one can.
