It seems like Olivia just lets Nina do what she wants and goes and complains to Carly without doing anything about it. They are equal partners from my understanding, so why doesn't Olivia just say no ? And I think broken ice machines fall on maintenance or at least the head of maintenance, not the freaking owner lol.

I was thinking Alison. Although I think CTS would be down to do a reboot. The only updates on Alison is that she's a drunk in Atlanta, so I could easily see it being her who dies.

Oh, yeah. I knew he was flirting with Carly and I heard Carly complain about how bad the Metro Court was run. It strange how the narrative on Nina's leadership of the Metro Court has changed. I thought she was good at running the hotel. And do none of these problems fall on Olivia? She's been doing this way longer and last I checked she owns half of the hotel.

Well, I think the entire point was to make Sonny's mental struggles gradual and less noticeable, so entirely swapping out the medicine wouldn't work or it would be too obvious too quickly. I am sure GH will explain more because it was confusing in general yesterday and I thought I perhaps missed something. I guess this means Ava/Valentin aren't working together though. Jason has already noticed, so I am going to assume this will be wrapped up sooner rather than later. Who beat up Jagger? Are we supposed to think it was Sonny's men or someone else? Like I mentioned, I was too busy watching the blood dripping out of his nose all episode and wasn't actually paying attention to what he was saying.

Yeah she took 3. Which I still think is super dangerous and very strange for Ava to just take a large dose of someone else's pills. But....whatever. Maybe it will be explained better today, but I don't get the point. So, Sonny's muscles just won't be relaxed lol? If it was a sleeping pill I could understand the motive a bit better and it would make sense to have Sonny losing sleep, but you generally don't use muscle relaxers to sleep. And Sonny would obviously be able to get Ambien or something from a Dr. The only other possibility I can think of is that Sonny's pills are mis-marked, so his bipolar meds are in the muscle relaxer container and vice versa and Sonny rarely takes the muscle relaxers so everything is out of whack. I thought Valentin said he lowered the doses on the bi polar meds though. And I would think Sonny would have a solid idea of what each of his pills looked like lol. Sonny was with Jason. I guess their meetup was really late at night. Nina was still at work and Kevin/Laura were still up, so maybe Ava went to bed really early hence the reason she couldn't sleep.

Yes. This. Was he writing under the name Everett or Bobby? Both? Even if his family is not around doesn't he have friends or co-workers that could help fill in the pieces? As a reporter you would assume Everett would be at least curious and follow simple leads. Unless, he really is the villain and doesn't want to get caught. The way everyone is going about this is backwards. Everyone is just hoping Everett just remembers everything one day.

That makes sense. I was trying to keep that in mind, but even the clues we have gotten about Everett don't add up. Even the way Everett is going about getting his memory back is weird. Why isn't he more interested in Bobby Stein? Where he worked? Where he lived? His friends? Why isn't Everett trying to find out more about that? I know Marlena is a mental health genius, but it seems like Everett should be doing more than just a few hypnosis sessions and shrugging his shoulders about everything. I hope once Ron returns this story tightens up and starts to move forward.

I joke about Days writing a lot, but this Everett story truly feels like the show hasn't decided how it ends yet. I swear the writers are just making it up as they go along and it's not going to make sense in the end.

So I am confused about yesterday. Did Ava take a muscle relaxer or Sonny's bi polar meds? I know that we saw the label and someone said it was a muscle relaxer, but why would Valentin tamper with those pills? What's the point? How would that effect Sonny? I get that it's a plot point to have Ava figure out Sonny's pills are messed up, but I am wondering why Sonny's even taking muscle relaxers in the first place.

Well, I was just complaining yesterday that Carly pretended like she had no medical skills and she mentioned today she dropped out of nursing school. GH is meeting my minimal needs in writing today. Was that water or vodka that Carly was pouring to Wagger? Serious question lol. Both would work. I also can't deal with Jagger's blood on his face and his shirt. He needs to Drew himself out of that shirt. The Curtis/Portia stuff is so dull. I really need justice for Brook Kerr. Are you listening GH? Nina and Drew continue to entertain. Remember this sentence everyone. I rarely compliment those two. 45 mins? Okay, Nina and Drew get it. Jason vs. Sonny was more interesting than I thought it would be. A lot of blah, blah, this coffee is mine, but Steve is bringing it at least trying at the most basic acting level. Brenda love aside, Jason/Sonny are the true supercouple here. When Jason asked Sonny if he was taking his meds my heart felt the love lol. Blaze and Kristina were on.. That's it. Nothing else to say. The Kevin/Laura/Ace stuff is interesting I suppose but it's not grabbing me. Yes, it sucks Ace has no siblings, but I assume it's better than him being an entire orphan lol. And I just can't will myself to care about Heather much. I think we all know where this is going. Ava of course has the Joan Crawford sleep mask on, full length silk negligee and matching robe. #GOALS 😂 Also, who just takes someone's pills to sleep? That is so weird and dangerous. I am cautiously excited about this news, but Insatiable was a pretty awful show, so we will see.

I am clearly easily entertained because I watched Drew's shirt fall off like 5 times on repeat last night and cracked up. And not even because I was trying to take a good look at CM's chest. Just because it was so silly.

I can see MB going along with it because it wasn't really "Sonny". MB could play a nicer, gentler, non-mob related guy because once he got his memory back he could play MobsterSonny again. It was something new and fresh and it didn't necessarily emasculate the true Sonny character. As long as the change wasn't permanent I could see MB trying to get that emmy reel.

I suppose? I always thought Drew had way too much hate for Nina especially considering he committed the crime and she was just reporting it. Drew was always so passionate about his 'hatred" for Nina that I always thought it was a thin line between love and hate. I didn't know the actors didn't try to play it that way because it felt intentional lol. The subtext was definitely there IMO and I do applaud PM/EK for going there. I always felt like Drew was what Jason would be if Jason had human emotions. To be fair the show threw a lot of stuff at Drew that didn't work (Kim, Oscar), but he's never had his own identity outside Jason. The idea of Drew isn't bad, but the minute Steve returns to the fold Drew becomes this afterthought.

Agreed. Sonny's not really acting out of character at all or enough for people to be alarmed. I definitely side eyed him not believing Jason, but I honestly thought that was just Sonny being hurt and disillusioned. The medicine being wrong is just a built in excuse and everyone will be begging for his guidance and forgiveness once Ava/Pikeman/Whoever betray him.

Probably. I read MB's book and he does sound like a bit of an ass. But he also sort of owns it lol? I think when people like Steve, MB, Tony, etc get too much power and leeway they tend to think they are writers and know their character better than anyone. They probably do, but they aren't writers lol. MB is nearing 60 61!? and this isn't a great look for the character, but I don't think Sonny has had a good look as a character since the 90's so 🤷‍♀️ You think? It feels like the same old same old to me because everything Sonny is doing can be tied back to his medication being tampered with.

I am still not onboard with CM's version of Drew, but it does give the character a different feel than Jason-lite, which has always been my issue with Drew.

The character of Sonny isn't challenging to anyone. I am a 40 year old white woman and am pretty convinced I could play Sonny with more depth than MB😂. I actually don't think it's all MB's fault although I do think he's lazy and doing this to pay off mortgages and college funds. The writers pretty much give him the same thing to do regardless of regime. I don't know if that's MB pushing for stories he likes or just writers not knowing where to go with the character though.

I always thought Ryan's Drew's hatred was so intense and OTT that he had to find Nina attractive. It was too much. I totally buy it. And realistically, Carly and Nina aren't that different in looks or in character. It fits for me as far as CM's portrayal. I can't see Billy Miller's Drew being interested in Carly or Nina though.

I really don't disagree with anything you are saying. It's on point. I have always found it weird that actors go out of their way to compliment MB all these years later. He was absolutely dynamic in the beginning of his run, but hasn't been good in years. It always looks like he searching for the cue cards in his scenes. I personally think MB is coasting on past popularity, but year after year young actors come out and praise him. It could be towing the company line, but everyone seems to just like MB.

Well, tbh, I would probably watch that 😂 I could write a multi-page essay on the decline of MB's acting since he started in 1993. I don't even know what he's doing and haven't for years. I wouldn't mind if Sonny took a nice long break to Rome or anything, but I would ditch so many more characters before Sonny even if I do think he's played out.

Oh, Ava's definitely not on my top of the list to go. I just don't really get the appeal and don't think she's one of the greatest actors in daytime. But everyone has their own opinions. I actually think Roger Howarth was a better actor and more of a commodity than MW, but that didn't translate to GH. I don't think Ava translates that well either. The character and their motivations are so muddled and MW mugs it up like a campy retro film star. That being said, there are probably 20-25 people I would cut out of the cast before her. I know.🤷‍♀️😂

You haven't. Lol. I am secretly rooting for GT to get all the roles just because you like her so much. I don't know. I think MW could be swooped up by Days. She's the type of actress Ron would like to make a wacky Dimera villain or Clyde's presumed dead wife or something. I strongly dislike Nina, but it's always hilarious when she's called out for making solid business decisions. Like firing someone who has performance issues? But Carly would never. Because she doesn't know how to run anything, but people are transfixed by her humanity and great hair. KeMo is in my good graces lately with the Dante shooting story, but for the last decade it seemed like she barely had a pulse. Two very different actresses. Maura gives it all and Kemo is the chillest actress on the entire planet.

But Sonny didn't take Karen from Jagger? They had their happy ending and Jagger ruined it. It's such a petty reason to be mad when the actual victim in the whole situation decided to forgive Sonny years ago. I mean, you don't give up MW? Even if I don't love her she's too big of a daytime get to not keep her around. Yup. 100% agree. There are a couple of things I have been clear about here on this board and that is 1. I don't get Gina Tognoni and 2. I don't get Maura West. I don't dislike either one I am just more on the 🤷‍♀️ side of things.
