  1. Challenge accepted! Hahaha! I am watching parallel to 1988... a playlist from HamiltonBernique that is around the time of Woman of the Year 1985 drama with Erica and Brooke. I've spend hours giggling and enjoying every second. I have to see these FALL 1984 episodes that you are recommending to me. ❤️ And in a few minutes parking myself and the dog on the sofa and pressing play on the 1988 episodes from March. Who knows what circus Erica will create from thin air... now with this baby. That's the best type of soap opera stuff for me. Mommie dearest!
  2. Oh! ❤️ Love this! Hahahaha! We soap fans are one of the most sleep-deprivation adjusted individuals. Just imagine if the vaults open and we get Classic 70s Restless in complete years, or Classic Bell DOOL in complete years. I'll quit my job to be able to dedicate myself to watching them.
  3. Can I answer these questions in... 5 years time? ❤️ Why - I still haven't watched many of these last episodes. I think I have only seen Sunset Beach's last episode. Hahhaha. You, darling, are a soap opera encyclopedia and you have seen SO MUCH more than me. I... am on the other side of the spectrum - I'm new with most of the cancelled soaps. And I actually learn from people like you.
  4. I'm answering to both of you guys in a merged post, because your replies actually confirm what I've been told by a soap opera fan friend of mine - that AMC and ATWT were the shows that aged best and that maintained most of it's quality through the years. I haven't seen this with my own eyes, but your posts are another testament to this opinion. Everything, of course... is beautifully subjective.
  5. I'm aware to a point I check the channel for new content every few hours. 😂
  6. Literally just watched this scene a couple of minutes ago. When it ended... I was borderline screaming wanting to see more. AH. But I'm still so grateful of these glimpses of classic soaps.
  7. @GymnastGuy has been a GOD SENT. I have so many of his videos already bookmarked and ready to watch... I won't have time to sleep.
  8. I think this discussion is appropriate given the fact that it all starts from the GH fast scenes comments. I agree 100 percent that 10-15 format may bring a lot of new viewers. I myself would find more time to follow multiple shows if they are not so long.
  9. I think this cute little topic is the perfect place for a cute little question I have. Which soap do you guys think (from the cancelled ones) in it's entirety - from start to finish... managed MOST to preserve it's quality? That would mean - the least RUINED... when the time for final curtain came. I've heard of some shows being completely destroyed before going off... So, repeating the question with another nuance - Which show stood the test of time, change of head-writers, regimes and etc MOST... ? And why not answer the contrary question - Which one was THE MOST ruined, went through most destructive changes and in the end was just a shadow of it's former self?
  10. Beautiful song! I loved it. Great voice.
  11. I am not saying that anyone here wants the short scenes, quite the contrary. I'm just saying that it's going to be easier to stomach when the episode is small. Having to watch 40 minutes of it... is really irritating. That was my point. Cutting the duration to 10 or 15 max... will make it MORE bearable EVEN in worst case scenario of this trend of tik-tok pace continues.
  12. I backup everything now as soon as I glimpse it on youtube. It jumps straight to my downloads. I don't risk every a minute. I've seen entire decades of soaps get removed just like that. So sad that the report function can be so abused by psychopaths who just want to ruin our fun. Or scammers that prefer people to buy than watch the episodes online.
  13. Lots of new episodes are being uploaded on youtube, guys. Type in Another World in the search engine and in the settings pick the SORT by Last Upload Date option. That way you'll see everything new. And if you want to save them, download everything, because youtube is unreliable. One day the episodes are there, the next - Poof, they are gone.
  14. Lyrics: Ooh hey, yeah Hush, just stop There's nothing you can do or say, baby I've had enough I'm not your property as from today, baby You might think that I won't make it on my own But now I'm Stronger than yesterday Now it's nothing but my way
  15. After nearly a 7 hour marathon last night... I'm approaching March 1988. It's only getting better. Erica's neurosis will lead to her demise. This woman is the most addictive type of MESS I've seen in my life.
  16. I agree! They are the exact opposite. And of course... it's one thing IF we ever have 10 minutes of fast scenes... COMPARED TO nearly 40 minutes of non-stop tik tok-fast-pacedness that makes you feel like you're spinning. At some point it becomes irritating and infantile. These people should remember that this is a soap opera and not a Darren Aronofsky movie-montage. And the background music does not help. Every time I try to watch GH, I'm disturbed by the music. Just a personal pet peeve.
  17. Me, 10 minutes after I wake up. @Contessa Donatella

  19. Thank you for the transcript.
