  1. Ha, that's interesting. Thanks for clarifying.
  2. In a way... it died all those years ago. It's like a bad nightmare ever since. Bell is well past his expiration date as a writer. He should be retiring and giving a new writer a chance to re-invent Bold.
  3. The best way to destroy a group of people is to create tension between it's members and pit them against each other. Sadly... these people are falling for the trap.
  4. I'M OBSESSED WITH THIS MAN.
  5. Not much time left. This is the countdown to my 30th birthday, so I'm very AWARE of it, LOL. The end of my youth is the beginning of a new chapter for soap operas. 😂
  6. Ah... it makes me so sad to think that all these soaps could have been saved if the time was right or they survived... 10 more years. But... coulda woulda shoulda. Now we have the future ahead of us. And it's going to be full of surprises.
  7. Today a person got shocked when I told them that this show is still going on. They thought it was cancelled 10 years ago.
  8. I won't be signing this petition. I did for Britney hundreds of times. Wendy is very very different situation. She has a manipulative greedy family... they have recently opened a fundme account asking people for money. I get bad vibes from her niece. I don't trust them. I would like the judge to appoint her a different conservator. That's just my own opinion. People who say Wendy sounds like herself... I respectfully disagree. She doesn't right at all to me. The only different thing about her from the docu is that she is not drunk. And people who expect that dementia looks and sounds like being incapacitated all day long - don't know a thing about dementia. Yes, it can be like that... but it can be... that a person sounds normal for a while... for a part of the day... and then has parts of the day where they don't remember who they fre-aking are. I've lived with a grandmother with dementia for YEARS. She used to sounds perfect at times, especially at Holidays. One day she would be okay, the next day she would be calling me the name of her husband - my grandfather. And think that I am him.
  9. Maybe this has been discussed million times, but forgive my ADHD and picky memory - has the 70s of AMC survived in some form or has it been destroyed?
  10. I won't be able to judge the sets or how they look till I see the first episode. Behind the scenes videos never look like the polished version. A different lighting can turn an ugly set into something beautiful.
  11. Thank you! I didn't see that it's on the right. I was looking and looking and my mind didn't register it.
  12. BH are having their best season since the Erica coming on the show for the first time season. Which was it - 6 or 7. Finally a season where some moments look at least HALF-real. And there is suspense and wanting to continue watching. Something this show was lacking for years. And the editing this season is spot on. It flows beautifully. I was beginning to get annoyed by the ultra-fast montages from previous seasons. NY is a complete failure. Season 3 would have to get a real shake-up with new women joining. It's just impossible to go from the franchise's most iconic city... to a show that makes you fall asleep pretty much every episode. Season 2 was supposed to deliver what Seasons 1 was warming up to... but we were left with our plates - empty. The drama is petty and nothing really substantial. And the cast lack chemistry.
  13. Hahhahaha, I think Bradley will be able to f-ck that up too! It will be just concentrated trash.
  14. I agree! It will make engagement with the shows way easier and more people, who are not able to watch multiples hours a day, can fit them into their schedule. I believe one of the biggest reasons Bold is still alive and kicking is because it's basically 18 minutes of trash that... you can forgive if it's horrible and try the next day. If someone made me watch a 40 minute Bradley Bell episode... I would literally not be able to do it on a constant basis. You would have to pay me.
  15. With the phenomena of reality tv slowly turning into scripted soap operas... I'm thinking a lot of people are back to craving something that is pre-thought, pre-envisioned, polished and dramatic. I would rather see something I KNOW is scripted than watch a bunch of women pretend they are not fake and not acting out storyline ideas coming from producers. And I'm meeting more and more people that want MORE than the 10 episodes a year shows. People crave continuity. And familiarity. Something they can turn on and expect to see every day, something they can stream every single day. We live in an era, where people want instant non-stop entertainment (just look at the tik tok mania and the meltdowns surrounding it's cancellation) - soaps can and will provide that constant thing. They also have a great binge-able quality about them - another thing consumers crave. You can watch an entire season of 260 episodes of you have the time... in just a few weeks. People do that all the time. Myself included. I am optimistic that not only will the genre survive and begin to thrive with new soaps... we may also live to see the first... re-booted daytime drama. (Susan Lucci... I see you winking over there). But which one will it be... I'm not sure. I just believe it may happen. And a reboot may mean that it will only preserve the core values, setting and theme... some characters.
  16. I have never heard of that movie! But I'm glad that I now have a green light to level up my satisfaction to 11 or even more! 💗
  17. Another World - January 16th, 1989 There is a snake in the company. In the Cory Publishing building Mac is shocked to find the level of material his daughter Amanda has produced is not up to par with the standard quality of the magazine. Iris confronts him and tries to persuade him to let Amanda work on all the projects (AND THEY ARE MANY) she has given her. Mac finds the whole situation absurd and thinks Iris is overworking his little daughter and putting her up for failure. Iris of course, denies and claims that she has her sister's best interests and that it's Rachel's fault that Mac is now doubting her. If you ask Iris, Rachel is to blame for everything, including Global Warming. 😂 Iris has put out yet another one of her traps and the Cory's are falling for it. She has purposely made so that Mac will get angry and disappointed by Amanda's unpolished work, and that she can appear as the savior and Mac and Rachel - the ones that don't believe in her and the bad guys. All she wants to do is breed toxic atmosphere in the family and break Rachel, Mac and Amanda's rapport. She wants to eat them from inside out. And she is succeeding at this moment. 💅 When later in the episode Amanda overhears her mother and father talking critically of her, she once again assumes that it's only Saint Iris who wants the best for her. 👼 In the hospital we have Jamie in turmoil over still-sleeping beauty Victoria. She opens her eyes for a moment, so that he gets a glimpse of hope, but then she disappears into nothingness again. Victoria's father Michael is the other person severely emotional about the chance of losing his daughter. He is even crying at the thought of it. Saint Iris, once again, circling like a vulture... comes once again to offer a helping... "hand" (we all know what helping organ she wants to offer) and Michael pushes her away for the 192892th time. But we learn one thing - for some reason Michael did not tell Donna about his past with Iris. Iris takes that as a sign of weakness in the relationship. In the finale of the episode, Victoria opens her eyes to see Jamie full of "love" and care for her. All is happy ending, EXCEPT one little detail - WHO'S THE DADDY! Overall 10 / 10. I would have given it 11/10, but I don't want @Contessa Donatella to think I can't count. 💗 Highlight - Iris pitting the family against each-other. Another World - January 16, 1989.mp4
