Heidi Montag should HEAD WRITE THIS SHOW!

When I think about Dani Dupree... what comes to mind is "too much - too fast - at the same time". They are trying to make her a soap opera diva, I got that... But her character is like an overdressed and over-accessorized toy doll that some child wanted to put everything on, because it was the only doll they got. It's soap opera cliches... one after another and everything is being put on 1 character to an overwhelming extent. She is giving "20 years on a soap opera and ran out of storylines" vibe. TOO MUCH. AT THE SAME TIME. She can work... if stripped from some of that. Show me more raw scenes with her children. More scenes with her mother and Nicole when they analyze WHY she is like that. More interactions without camp. More soul. And please... no alcoholism so early in the game. Ditch that. Don't make her like that. We've seen this type of cliche so many times. I am still not losing hope for Dani. I know she can be great if worked on.

I'm gonna shut up before the "you guys are being too negative" police comes to inspect me. I STILL LOVE THE SHOW... but I'm calling a spade a spade.

They definitely made him that. And him picking between her and her daughter every other day was also painful to watch at least at the later stages. At first it was just another of Brooke's pathological relationships and it kinda worked in a disgusting type of way. But yes, the beginning had this amazing charm and love to it. And their chemistry was WOOOF. I'm so interested to see if they can still ooze this from the screen.

I had an organically WHAT THE HELL IS THIS reaction to the performance. Now re-watching it... I'm tolerating it more and more. But still... in my opinion it looks like a performance you will find on youtube titled "What happened to Anita Dupree?" I would have loved just... a ballad... something that focuses on her VOICE. The only thing missing from this performance was a drag queen collecting money on the stage. Maybe it was the crazy-eyes Dani to the side... but it was all too cringe for my taste. Not a good FIRST impression of her talents. Maybe it was better she retired and had a family. Hahaha. Same on this. She's sooo Sex and the city Samantha from the dollar store. I agree. They need work on that. And these endings, loord.

You are right about that... but only in the first few seasons with Nick. Then...she did beg after couple of rounds. That's when it started NOT WORKING. When they paired him with Taylor... that's when sh-t hit the fan. Brooke would beg him to choose her every single day. It was unbearable to watch. I remember there was a scene where she went in and jumped him on bed, while he was engaged to Taylor... and begged him to make love to her. That's when Taylor came and diagnosed her with - "You're narcissistic, histrionic and quite frankly... I think you're borderline."

If there are better quality versions... I will dis-attach myself from them very fast. Just watch me. 🤣

I think he's fixated. He is copy-pasting past Stephanie characteristics on her. And that's what makes this NEW Steffy unbearable. She wasn't like that. She was more believable when she was the new generation troublemaker ala Brooke. Bradley is obsessed with making THE MORALIST Steffy happen, but it's not working. He's trying and trying and trying... but we are not buying. I am shocked when her fans start slut-shame other girls on the show. They call Hope a ho... but Steffy has been with more men than Hope... And they constantly drag the Logans... forgetting what Steffy did in her first 10-15 years on the show. I'm starting to believe a lot of these Steffy fans are people who've been watching the last few years only and have no idea what they are talking about.

If we could get better copies without subtitles from Season 2 onwards... it will be just sublime. In my opinion. I'm gonna just enjoy whatever you guys decide to upload. @rsclassicfanforever

Can she follow Liam to the grave?! LOL. Love JMW, but Steffy is eating this show alive. Along with Brad Bell's writing of course. We need to breatheeeeeeeee and have a pause from her. Maybe just... go away for a year or two and then come back... I don't know. Bradley Bell has a Brooke-type of fixation with her... and it's just unbearable. It was similar with Brooke when she ate the show in the past. There were years where she was in almost ALL the episodes. No character should be ON all the time... NON-STOP. As much as you like them... you start getting tired at some point.

I agree. I can't stomach him. So boring. So one note. And I'm definitely sensing it's the writing at fault in his case. The conception is not right. Another one I am having issues with is Vanessa... She is very sit-com-ish... Sex and the city B-character that is given questionable dialogue. Overall there are a loooot of issues in the writing, something I didn't expect to say so early in the game. But nothing that can't be fixed yet. I'm still pathologically optimistic and calling it growing pains. Me too. I hope this is not a taste for what's to come. I DO NOT WANT MOB STUFF. Soap operas should retire this tired old stuff NOW.

With that actor they have playing Finn... that could be Daphne Rose level of cringe. Hahhahaha.

I'm finally pretty up to date. And I'm not gonna say much, because I don't want to be a hater. The writing is still very up and down... some of it is absurd, some of it is okay. I'm in agreement that if it was not for Leslie... I don't know if I would be able to sit and listen to everything without checking my phone or... drifting off. What happened after these first 2 weeks? The show came in like a fresh scent of flowers... and now it's like... I'm struggling to keep myself interested. I'm also in agreement that there should be better cliffhangers. Lots of people said it. Now I'm just repeating. In this day and age, where people have so many distractions, scrolling on phones all day long... you can't just end an episode like nothing happened. AND we need better background music. I'm once again feeling emptiness in scenes. Maybe it's the bad acting... that I want hidden or just... made more bearable with music, I don't know... but something is missing. The editing needs to be BETTER! And I'm sorry to say it... - this was not a good comeback performance for Anita. Felt like a drag queen show. I expected something more classy. Didn't suit Tamara Tunie. The dancing Dani in the background was... one step closer to making me burst out laughing. Dani is just... sorry to say it - feels like a tired character after 20 years of seasons. I have no idea how they made her so tired and uninteresting so fast. And I'm not seeing dimensions. I'm seeing camp. Boring camp. 90 percent of the time. And sometimes... it just works. Especially if Nicole is around. ALSO WHY DOES DANI HAVE TO BE IN FREAKING EVERY SINGLE THING IN THIS FREAKING SHOW?!!! EVERY TIME SOMEONE HAS A MOMENT... SHE HAS TO BE THERE ON STAGE TOO. UGH. UGH! Lord, I was not gonna say a thing, but here I said it. Don't hate me. I'm just... waiting for quality material. I saw they can do it, so I expect an improvement in the future.
