Brooke showed us that body. Woooof. She puts some 20 somethings in her small pocket. I enjoyed seeing Nick. A different energy entered the room. But that is all for now. I see he is only a prop... For Bridge. I will be surprised if anything substantial happens while he is here. But hope dies last.

It's amazing to see Brooke back next to someone she has chemistry with. She does not have any with Ridge.

I enjoyed GL 1992-mid 1993 immensely. I've been diving into other soaps these past 2 years, but I know deep down I'll return to it sooner or later. Same as you, I like the richer production values... the cinematic feel that soaps lack in the modern day era... and of course... the writing which is so much better.

I'm so happy that more and more people are re-discovering these older soaps and watching them. They are living second lives. Please keep us updated on your GL journey! 😊

I'm finally up to date. Disclaimer - I'm sorry if some of my thoughts may disturb people who come here to only read positive comments. I mean no harm. ❤️ Quite the opposite actually. Some hardcore negatives - lack of background music makes a lot of these scenes absurd, empty and cringe. When Tomas is trying to "act" and talk like a human being... and Dani is staring at him like she can't remember if she was in his DMs last week... there needs to be a hint of music. Please cover all that bad acting with something. Don't make me hear every breath Tomas aka "Google AI"... takes. Ashley and Derek make my skin crawl... Ashley pretending to be stressed that her porn-actor boyfriend is going to break up with her... was next level cringe. They should decide what she is, because her characterization is very messy. Also... why the hell is Andre even talking to her anymore? "With a woman like you... I'll never let you go"... he tells her... And then she proceeds to tell him she'll go home and take a shower... Good decision. Can she just... catch the bubonic plague at the hospital and just disappear from the canvas. Give someone else that airtime. Stop trying to make Ashley happen. A positive - Martin is getting better and better. He is the type of melodramatic actor, that I can stomach and tolerate and even like. He tries very hard... and sometimes it works. A huge improvement from the start. Brava!

After a huge, huge binge last night where I barely slept... I'm up to Feb 18th, 1992! Megan died (I let out a tear or two during Victoria's scenes in the hospital), Luna and Max did a number on Asa aaaaaaand Leanne agreed to marry that idiot Kevin. But all of this is second to... the queen herself is BAAAAAACK! Alex Olanov is free to roam the streets of Llanview. She manipulated the district attorney, the new cute guy with the mustache - Hank... to release her and grant her immunity... by giving him recordings of Carlo Hesser organizing his crimes. She then proceeded to stage a meeting with Carlo by pretending to be someone else on the phone... and then gifted him on a silver platter to the district attorney! The moment Bo saw her enter the restaurant was pure gold. I know it's bordering on camp - having a double murderess go out the insane asylum just like that, but it's just soooo entertaining. Watch out Bo and Cassie. 🐍 Alex is back.mp4

The writing for Ted is the issue in my opinion. It's illogical. The actor is fine.
