This was one of the moments when Brooke showed that she was the bigger person in her feud with Stephanie. Another was when Stephanie was in hospital after being poisoned by Sheila and Brooke visited her with drawings from Rick and Bridget wishing her well. If the shoe had been on the other foot Stephanie would only have visited Brooke in hospital to gloat and in the scene above she would probably have helped Sheila aim properly....

I don't think you could get a more accurate description of B&B than that!

This show is so and predictable.... It's funny how even when it's so much more fast-paced now and more is happening than in the old days the show was much more gripping back then. During my re-watch of the oldest episodes there was one where the main plotline was that, and I kid you not, Joe and Matt accidentally broke Annie's best teapot, and yet that episode was still more watchable than the current show.

You don't watch B&B much, do you?

In memory of the recently deceased Jean Marsh, here's an Upstairs, Downstairs reunion from a special Happy Birthday BAFTA broadcast (celebrating 50 years of the BAFTA Awards) in 2007. Since this reunion we've also lost Meg Wynn Owen, Christopher Beeny and Jenny Tomasin from among those seen here.

I love Brooke dearly, but self-awareness has never been one of her strong suits. (Although to be fair, that is a character flaw she shares with most of the cast of B&B)

Do you think it will take that long?

^^ I can't say I have watched much of it myself, but it's been a surprisingly huge success here. I don't think anyone expected it to become so popular. On paper it sounds ridiculous but it has obviously filled a need that I think not many people knew they had. I have watched it occasionally and it is very relaxing. Quite the opposite of the incessant scrolling on cellphones watching short tik-tok clips that most people seem to occupy themselves with.

It's more than awful. I knew it was gonna be bad when he was elected, but this is way worse than I think anyone could have imagined. Every day he reaches a new low and I have stopped wondering how he low can go. I don't think he has a limit.

That's something I always wanted to happen with Brooke and Stephanie on B&B as well. I would have loved for them to team up against a mutual enemy at some point. KKL and SF could definitely have sold that beautifully, just like AS and LK could.
