Yes, Portugal qualifying was definitely a shock. I'm not crazy about the Ukrainian entry either, but that was always going to qualify for obvious reasons. I was a bit surprised that they had the video message from Cèline Dion already in the semifinal. I would have thought they would save that for the final on Saturday.

Chase definitely lasted longer than he should have. He never really fit in after the first season and especially after Richard turned up. It didn't exactly help that the character was utterly devoid of charm and/or charisma. He was so self-righteous and boring.

To be fair, he has no idea what to do about anything.....
