Thanks Paul Raven! That story really seems insane. Especially the part with the hippies. Poor Jo was always getting kidnapped, I always thought that was more of an 80s plot twist for soaps. And didn't Mary Vincente try to off Jo too?

Did anyone here watch in OLTL's earlier years? I would love to hear some memories of the good old days. I would love for Meredith to make an appearance and Ed, Carla, Larry and Wanda to return. I didn't even watch then but the first decade is just so intriguing to me.

Does anyone know anything about the whole story with Sam's return? I read somewhere that he got some crazy jungle virus, went insane and held Jo hostage. He died soon after and she stood trial for his murder. Also somewhere in that time period there was another hostage crises and Jo was blind and it was in the woods and she was looking for Sam, who had been shot. This all led to her and Tony marrying.
