That Access Hollywood clip did a better job of explaining why B&B is using mannequins and blow up dolls. If Brad Bell had focused on how they would be used as stand ins so the actors would have something to react to and aid their direction while their scene partner is giving her lines off set so she can social distance ... instead of focusing on how they would he used for romantic scenes, they wouldn't have become the butt of every joke in Hollywood. I guess it got them a lot of press though.

For all the good it did them considering their awful ratings for the week they returned

Another GH promo and its obviously new because look at Chad's hair

  2. FYI, Nikki said she's trying to fix the audio sync issues but she'll post every episode she has up until Taylor's death in 94. She said again, she is probably missing a few episodes because she tossed some without Hunter but its pretty complete.

Does anyone know what month Taylor "died"? Was it March or April 94?

  3. Hey everyone, I woke up to this email from Nikki N

"Hey, I put 15 episodes from November 1993 in that vault. I have no idea the exact dates or the show numbers, only the month, so if anyone who knows wants to label them properly please do. There is a slight audio delay (like 1 or 2 seconds) in a few of the clips. Sorry, working on fixing that issue."

Yes I can see the five playlists she has but doesn't the fact that I can see them mean they are listed and searchable as opposed to unlisted? Just a bit confused, thanks.

Oh sorry. The videos are unlisted but I believe the playlists are public. I think she did make some of the Belief videos public

With unlisted on YT, I don't understand how you're meant to see the videos unless someone is prepared to share the link with you? is that right?  I've subscribed to Nikki N and there are a ton of Tridge scenes in the playlists, but are there unlisted ones also or is the fact that I'm subscribed mean I have access to the unlisted ones? I wouldn't have thought so... thank you...

She's putting them all in a playlist (like the one poster here does for Y&R clips) so if you go to her channel and go to playlists, you can view all of the unlisted videos in that playlist.

  6. Can anyone fill in the 1992 gaps for me?

I think the last episode I saw of the Victor/Nikki/Jack triangle was Jack overhearing Nikki say that she'll always love Victor. Then I think the next available 1991 episode that's available is Nikki going to talk to Jack who is staying at Ashley's because he moved out. After that we see them back together. What transpired in between? Is that when Jack saved Victoria?

  7. Nikki N got back to me and said she was focused on restoring her Tridge channel first and then she'll upload the episodes to the vault that she has. She did warn that she thinks she tossed episodes that didn't have Taylor in them but she definitely has a lot from late 1993 and early 1994

Anyway she has been putting up some significant moments of the Belief story.  A lot of the videos are unlisted and I'm probably going to delete this post in like 48 hours. She doesn't want the channel taken down again but I wanted to give people a heads up.

About Stafford- I agree with @Vee.

In their prime and for the most part- people like Tristan Rogers, Tony Geary, Jane Elliot, Nancy Grahn (and many others)often interpreted the material instead of saying it word for word, but did so from a place of character and brought their scene partners along for the ride.  Stafford often eats everyone else alive- and it seems selfish.  Her tics distract from others and her own performance.

This is a nicer way of saying what I was going to say.

I agree. I’d rather have Macy return over Taylor any day of the week. Bobbie Eakes should have been brought back to anchor nuSally instead of making up a new character with Shirley

I liked Macy but the show barely has any use for nuSally outside of being a prop for Thudley's newest blonde obsession, they would not give Macy a thing to do. Is there even a Thorne on canvas?

It is quite bizarre that the only people left from the 90's era of this soap are Brooke and Eric (a character that has always been useless IMO).

But speaking of Taylor, I see Steffy may end up in the hospital. So her mother doesn't come again (she wasn't around when Thomas was in the hospital either)? Does Bell think if he waits long enough Hunter will decide to return?

It's also weird as hell that Taylor has more kids on the show than Brooke (Rick, Bridget and RJ are all MIA)

  10. “At first, we took out the love scenes, and the show was falling a little flat because we’re all about romance and family interactions,” said Bradley Bell, the executive producer of the CBS daytime drama. “One of the first ideas we had was to bring in mannequins for the intimate scenes and hospital scenes, and it’s working quite well — we’re shooting it from a great distance or in a way you can’t see the form is inanimate.”

How are the performers reacting to their lifeless co-stars? “We’ve had a lot of strange looks and questions like, Do you really want to do this?” Bell said. “But everyone is game. They are getting their first latex kiss.”

really? Can you put your finger on what? I always liked her.

I honestly felt that Jennifer Finnigan was the best actor on the show at that time and outclassed all her acting partners in nearly every scene (and yes that includes Flannery whose early work as Stephanie I loved but who became a bit too hammy and OTT as Stephanie moved into becoming more of a violent caricature than a real person)
