  2. Does anyone remember the OLTL live week in May 2002??? I remember one closing credit at the end of one episode with little Matthew saying: "I see dead people...." and the Ty (as the late Troy) passing some big cards with the crew information of this episode...and on his chest was written "live".it was really funny!!!
  3. Tully was in the soap from 15 july 1968 to August 1968. James Storm was in the role from August 68 to January 69. Michael Storm appeared in January 69.
  4. Well, not exactly for nurse Karen, Larry was arrested for patient Rachel Wilson's murder....in 1974
  5. OLTL in 1968..... This story began in the city of Llanview on July 15th, 1968. At Llanfair, the sprawling eighteenth century home of the Lord family, young Victoria Lord always placed her father on a pedestal. In Viki’s eyes, her father, publishing tycoon Victor Lord, could do no wrong. Upon the death of his wife, Eugenia, Victor Lord had thrown himself into his work, concentrating on grooming Victoria to eventually take over the reins of his prestigious family owned newspaper, The Banner. After having always wanted a son to follow in his footsteps, Victor instead put Victoria through years of strict training and emotional pressure, so that she would be prepared to live up to the impossibly high standards of the Lord name. Viki poured all her energies into The Banner , thereby pleasing her father. Though a strikingly beautiful young woman, Viki had little time, or inclination, for romance. Since her father would certainly disapprove of any young man Viki would have dated, she had long repressed any desire to become involved in a romantic relationship. Meanwhile, most men were intimidated by the cold, businesslike Victoria. All except one: the Banner's star reporter, Joseph Francis Riley; a charismatic fellow from the “wrong side of the Llanview tracks.” Joe and Viki clashed often as they worked side by side at The Banner. However, in amongst the squabbling, Joe stirred feelings in Viki that she had never experienced before. The two were soon falling in love, much to the consternation of Viki’s father. Victor did everything in his power to separate his daughter from this cad. Though he saw Joe as a valued asset to The Banner, he was equally convinced that this man was completely wrong from Viki. Viki was terribly torn between loving the charming and sexy Joe, and pleasing her always-demanding father. This internal dilemma caused her to have splitting headaches. To complicate matters, Viki began receiving a series of threatening notes calling for her to end her relationship with Joe. Who could be sending them? The answer lay deep in Viki's psyche. In the fall of 1968, a bubbly gal named Niki Smith began making nightly appearances at Ernie’s, a seedy waterfront bar. Several regulars noted, but discounted, the fact that this fun-loving floozy bore a strong physical resemblance to heiress Victoria Lord. If they only knew the truth: Niki was Viki! Victor’s younger daughter, the more frail and fragile Meredith (called “Merrie”) was also experiencing relationship woes, compounded by his stark interference. While working as a volunteer at Llanview Hospital, Merrie became charmed by a kindly young intern named Larry Wolek. The two often sat and chatted, sharing their hopes and dreams with each other, and falling in love along the way. Merrie, however, was already engaged to Dr. Ted Hale, a physician at Llanview Hospital—who unlike Larry, was from an affluent family and was well versed in high society living. Victor strongly favored Ted, and vehemently opposed the growing closeness between Merrie and Larry. Much like with Joe, Victor saw Larry—who was from more humble beginnings—as not good enough for his daughter. Unlike Viki, Merrie wasn’t afraid to follow her heart and do what felt right to her. She eventually told Ted that she could not remain engaged to him. The next day, Ted fought with Larry over Merrie. As the argument grew heated, Ted took a deadly fall down the fourth floor fire escape landing and the Llanview Police immediately charged Larry Wolek with his murder. Though Larry insisted to the police that Ted simply lost his footing and fell, nurse Karen Martin told the police that Larry and Ted had been arguing about Merrie. She claimed to have heard Larry threaten Ted! Larry vehemently denied this accusation, but he was lying. He had threatened Ted! But only after Merrie’s spurned fiancée threatened to tell Merrie a terrible secret. Ted knew something that Larry desperately wanted to keep from Merrie: she was dying of a blood disease. Ted never had the chance to reveal his secret because as Ted turned away from Larry, he tripped and fell down the steps to his death. Larry stood trial and was nearly convicted of murder. However, in a closed-door session, the truth eventually came out and Larry was freed. The court records were sealed, sparing Merrie the news that she only had a precious few months to live. Larry Wolek hoped to spend every last minute with the woman he loved. Unbeknownst to Larry, Merrie had overheard the truth about her deadly blood disease. Not wanting to burden Larry, she ran away to San Francisco, then sent him the ‘Dear John’ letter. She didn't love him, Merrie claimed. Nurse Karen Martin was more than willing to offer Larry a shoulder to cry on. When Merrie returned, she spurned Larry’s overtures to get back together. Bewildered, Larry wept in Karen’s open arms. In October 1968, the beautiful and mysterious Carla Benari arrived in Llanview. An out of work actress who was down on her luck, Carla took a job at Llanview hospital as a receptionist. Dr. Jim Craig, the newly arrived Chief of Staff, took more than a professional interest in Carla. Jim quickly fell in love with his pretty employee, and after several attempts to woo her, the two were dating. Carla later responded with a yes when Jim tenderly asked her to marry him. Deep in her heart, however, Carla knew that she did not love Jim, and this troubled her. Was she willing to settle for a man she didn’t love? Jim, meanwhile, discovered that Carla seemed to suffer from the early stages of cirrhosis. Carla’s case was assigned to Dr. Price Trainor, an idealistic black intern, who immediately butted heads with his new patient. Carla realized that there was an exciting chemistry in the air every time she was near Dr. Trainor. Price knew exactly what it was…love. This proud black man, though, felt guilty and ashamed to have fallen in love with a white woman, he’d soon find out though that… CAST LIST for 1968 The Lords, a wealthy family Victor Lord (ERNEST GRAVES) Victoria ‘Viki’ Lord (GILLIAN SPENCER) Meredith ‘Merrie’ Lord (TRISH VAN DEVERE) The Woleks, a Polish-American family Larry Wolek #1 (PAUL TULLEY) Larry Wolek #2 (JIM STORM)) Anna Wolek (DORIS BELACK) Vince Wolek (ANTHONY PONZINI) The Craigs, a lower-middle class family Dr Jim Craig (ROBERT MILLI) The Rileys, a poor Irish-American family Joseph ‘Joe’ Francis Riley (LEE PATTERSON) Eillen Riley Siegel (PATRICIA ROE) Dave Siegel (ALLAN MILLER) Sadie Gray (LILLIAN HAYMAN) Carla Benari (ELLEN HOLLY) Nurse Karen Martin (NIKI FLACKS) Dr Ted Hale (TERRY LOGAN) Dr Price Trainor (THURMAN SCOTT)
  6. Interesting article....and it surprises me a lot as Terry Logan (Dr Ted Hale) appears on it!!!!. ( Larrry was accused of killing Dr Ted)...but according to long time fans, the first episode of OLTL ends with the cliffhanger of Dr Ted falling down the stairs and dying...and if so, why Tv radio talks about him in OCT 1968, if he only appeared in one or two episodes in July 1968???? Or maybe Dr Ted was in a lot of more episodes.........!!!!

  22. Hi DC , I have watched again the last scenes of the last episode of Rituals, and the baby hasn't got a name, they only say baby girl. And CJ tells Sarah the truth about her lost daughter, and he tells her that her daughter is Michelle. Sarah is happy and wishes to see her. They meet and mother and daughter hug. Sarah tells Michelle that her father is Patrick Chapin.
