It will be good to see how Daniel interacts with his sister Summer.

One little nitpick from Tuesdays episode: I hate that John and Marlenas bedroom is basically the same color as Rafe and Nicole’s. That Royal blue or whatever was obnoxious.
I don’t expect any earth shattering changes from Days regarding its switch to Peacock in the next few months. It’s obvious much of these episodes were intended to air on NBC. Hoping at the very least we get to see scenes that would’ve been cut due to airtime; increased scenes explaining characters motivations etc.

The White House did not come to play with these fools, they are calling out Republicans who took out PPP Loans:

I'm betting Li killed Abigail because she learned that he was resurrecting Stefan. Typical Ron *twist*.

Who wrote todays script? Did Days get some new talent?

Yeah I celebrate his exit as well.

Higley/Tomlin/Whitesell provided the bones/structure for good storytelling, with much of that regimes strong points being listed above.
Tomlin/Whitesell really built upon that with their last stint and the show was pretty good for awhile under them, until the end of course. One story under them that I wish they would have gotten to tell, or at least I'm curious about, are their original plans for Jordan/Ben/Clyde. It seemed like this would be a rehash of Curtis/Billie/Austin, with Billie/Austin being Ben/Jordan. Would a murder mystery had taken place down the road, with Kate, Sami, Ben, Jordan, and Rafe being the suspects? Who knows? As soon as Tomlin/Whitesell were out of the door, this story and Jordan's rape was swept under the rug forgotten by future regimes.

Good for KT! This "romance" with Cody is trash.

MM as Hillary was destined to be the next Jill of the show, but Mal dashed all those hopes for cheap shock of killing Hillary off. I don't blame MM for leaving.
I was thinking the other day, a good idea to bring Taggart's relationship with his daughter Trina to the forefront is to bring on a love interest for him, perhaps someone that Trina does not take a liking to instantly. MM would be perfect for such a role.

I had no problem with splitting up Nick and Phyllis again, always thought they were horrible together, and could never last; no matter how many times they get back together.

I hope we at least get one music video lol I know Bey can rise up in the charts without one, just to say that she can, but I would love to see one for Break My Soul and Alien Superstar.

Nothing before 1993, pathetic.

I really dig that color.
Sad that's my only compliment for the show today

The execution of all of this is simply poor.

Whether he's a recast or a new character matters little.
If Ashland or Rey are anything to go by, St John will come on strong, peter out and then be dropped.
This.
Unless there's a regime change, I don't see TSJ staying long.

Doesn't seem real. I'm shocked, and it's so soon. I wonder if the exits of a few of the cast was because they knew about this in advance.

In a perfect world the show would have aired an episode dedicated to Becky’s 25th anniversary followed by an episode honoring Kin’s 45th anniversary which is today. Scott is already like a surrogate father to her. Missed opportunity Frank.
Anyways Frank and the show makes its priorities known….”but what about Finn!”

Rest in Peace Bill Russell and Nichelle Nichols, such a sad day

Natalie immediately goes to John; Blair is hyper focused on Todd; the Danielle drama is HORRIBLE with Ross evil and Todd fantastic; Todd bullying absolutely everyone. OMG talk about horrible.
This was such a problematic period/part of the show. Its like RC said0 "lets regress this part of the canvas back to late 90s(97-99) early 00s era, and make sure it's as cliched and plot driven as possible between Tea/Todd/Blair." Brought down so much of the show.
Stacy/Kim were indeed fun, and I liked the potential of a possible custody war between Kim/Clint/Stacey and Fish/Kyle, but it never came to fruition.

Seems like a big a reset, and so far none of it is working. The show is hallow, but it kind of felt that way before all these exits, it's just more obvious now.

When VK first came on, she didn't come off as a diva, but as time progressed it certainly has set in that she does tend to come off as one.

Years ago I mentioned how the Trent Robbins murder mystery was incredibly paint by the numbers, by being so basic in how it played out on screen. That doesn't compare to Ron's attempt at writing a murder mystery, which is so messy, inconsistent, and all over the place. It really says a lot about a writer, when they can make Dena Higley's work seem like Shakespeare.
