  1. I'm trying to picture Victor watching Nikki mud wrestle instead of stripping. Don't let Rauch or Hogan find out about this. They'll honor history by having Sharon be a mud wrestler.
  2. Did anyone else watch the nationals? Such a disappointing event for some of the favorites. I was hoping that Mirai would win and go to worlds but it was not to happen. I know most think Alissa's no longer the choker she was but I think she'll bomb at worlds. At least her nationals win was deserved this time. It's sad about Caroline Zhang. She was suppose to be the heir apparent to American ladies skating. The same could not be said for Ryan Bradley. He really should not have won the title. It's a shame that Jeremy Abbott, Brandon Mroz, and Adam Rippon couldn't make it on the podium. Both Dornbush and Miner have good careers ahead of them.
  3. http://www.deadline.com/2010/11/the-walking-dead-lets-go-of-writers-considers-no-writing-staff-for-season-2/
  4. I've heard a rumor that the reason JFP killed Ryan Harrison off was because she didn't like him with Vicky.
  5. It's in the eyes.
  6. I read that he was offered the role of Billy Abbott before they got Billy Miller, but he turned it down.
  7. Belbin and Agosto retire from competitive skating, http://www.usfigures...4726&type=media Over the past year they may have been overshadowed by Davis/White, but they were the first ones to put Americans on the map in ice dancing in recent years.
  8. I loved Naturally Sadie when it showed on the Disney Channel! I have the unpopular opinion of liking it better in season 1 than season 2; hated it when they practically changed everything that made Sadie unique.
  9. I expected these Worlds to be a little on the WTF side and they didn't disappoint. I was really hoping that Mirai Nagasu would have pulled off the win, but if this helps her in the long run then I'm okay with it. I would hate for her to be like Kimmie Messiner and have everything go downhill. Rachel Flatt's skating has a lot to be desired on the artistic side, but if her coaches make programs catered to her strengths (more on the power program side rather than pretty-pretty) then she should be okay. Happy that Mao was able to pull off the win here. She seemed so disappointed after her free skate at Vancouver. Yu-Na's meltdown was completely unexpected. Then again, I'm shocked she showed up in the first place. If she came back to win it, it would not have been a surprise. Being a bad skating fan I have yet to see Laura Lepisto skate, but I haven't heard much good about her. Mainly people thinking she's being over scored, same criticism I've heard about Kostner. I really wished the Japanese Federation would have let Yukari Nakano go to Worlds. Like the let Takahasi go to the Olympics and send Nobunari to Worlds.
  10. From what I heard the men's competition was a splatfest save for a few. The only 2 people I watched skate were Michal Brezina and Daisuke Takahasi. I thought that if Evan had competed he could have won a medal, maybe even defend his title. Brain Joubert must be happier with his bronze medal this year than last year. Out of the up and coming skaters, Michal Brezina is my favorite. If his career doesn't go the way Tomas Verner he should be okay. Patrick Chan should be a force in the next four years and Takahiko Kozuka should also be a contender. For the U.S, Adam Rippon and Brandon Mroz will probably end up being the top names. I wonder how many people are going to end up retiring after this season? I'm thinking these people will retire soon or in two years: Lambiel, Lysacek, Weir, Abbott, Oda, Takahasi, Joubert, Verner, Contesti, and Van Der Perren.
  11. Oh that's right! I forgot that Mirai Nagasu, Rachel Flatt, and Caroline Zhang were all to young to go to worlds that year.
  12. She placed low at nationals so she didn't qualify for 2008 Worlds.
  13. She won the world title in 2006. Was the national champion in 2007. Finished 4th at the world championships in 2007. She placed 7th at the national championships in 2008. Had to withdraw because of injuries. She was suppose to compete at Rostelecom Cup and at NHK Trophey, but had to withdraw from the national championships. Because of her withdrawals she didn't receive a bye to nationals. Unfortunately she was too late to register to compete at regional championships. I hope that helps. In 2005 she was suppose to be the heir apparent to Michelle and Sasha, but outside of a lucky break at worlds 2006 she hasn't lived up to that hype. Since Sasha Cohen retired the U.S hasn't had a dominate lady. No lady has won a national title twice since Michelle Kwan.
  14. I hope that Mirai fares better in 4 years than Kimmi Messiner did.
  15. Here are the results from the Ladies' short program: Mirai Nagasu Mao Asada Laura Lepisito Carolina Kostner Ksenia Makarova Rachel Flatt Kim Yu-Na Cynthia Phanuef Viktoria Helgesson Julia Sebestyn Miki Ando I'm glad that Carolina and Cynthia were able to have better competition here than at the Olympics. Hopefully Mirai will hold the lead and win the World title. The Ice Dance Results: Gold: Tessa Virtue/Scott Moir Silver Charlie White/ Meryl Davis Bronze: Frederica Faiella/ Massimo Scali Davis/White won the free dance but it wasn't enough to overtake Virtue/Moir for the title.
  16. The World Figure Skating Championships begin on March 21-March 28. I would love to see someone beat Plushenko without a quad. Hopefully Jeremy Abbott, Ryan Bradley, and Matt Sovie/Tim Goebel love child Adam Rippon do well at these world championships. It's sad to see on era come to an end, but it's exciting to see new stars coming. During the olympic year we get a suprise champ (Kimmy Messiner WTF) that doesn't impact the skating world in the next 4 years.
  17. They already started. Evan, Evgeni, Yu-Na, and Joannie have already skated at least.
  18. If Evan still wants to skate, he can try to win a gold medal in pairs.
  19. Apparnetly not everyone thought Evan deserved to win, http://sports.yahoo....=yhoo&type=lgns. Mishin felt the same way http://sports.yahoo....=yhoo&type=lgns. Plushenko's a sore loser to boot. he called Evan "not a real champion". I understand that Mishin feels this way, but Elvis's reaction suprised me. Figure skating needs to be a complete package and not just based on who can do a quad. This also goes the other way around too. I remember being infuriated when Jefferey Buttle would score high at events based on his artistry, but he couldn't jump to save his life.
  20. The Evan look alike contest, let me play!
  21. They were eliminated after the 1990 season.
  22. Abbott won the US title, Evan finished second and Johnny finished third.
  23. I had a feeling Jeremy would fall apart. He can try to redeem himself in the long.
  24. When I first watched Everwood, I thought that the guy playing Reed (who is now on the Bold and the Beautiful) and Evan looked a lot alike.
