The tabloids claim it's due to booze. Who knows. I know a lot of people are thrilled over it as they can't stand Mick. I have mixed feelings about the character. I'd rather see him than most of the current main faces, but that's not saying much.

We're less likely to be nuked (hopefully), but lgbt people, along with women and minorities, will be #1 in his crosshairs. I'd expect laws in short order that would do things like allow doctors to refuse you medical treatment if you're gay (or Muslim, or the wrong "type" of woman, and so on). And get ready for a lot of Democrats to throw us under the bus, as they so often do.

Faux News was never really a huge booster the way CNN was anyway. That's why all the self-serving self-pity from CNN goes through me like bad food. Faux News mostly moved toward him when there were no other options and he was the GOP nominee. They will dust off and regroup, as they always do in their own soulless way.

You're surprised because they're behaving like an actual news outlet. It makes me wonder if they are giving up on him. It's also framed in a way that will increase public sympathy for Mike Pence.

His biggest enablers during the campaign? Too little too late. It was Roger Ailes who made Faux News become more of what it was in recent years. Murdoch does seem to censor some Trump coverage (he has at the WSJ this year, causing a lot of upset at their offices), but in a different way. I envy anyone who can laugh at this stuff. Other countries I can understand it more, but people here who see it all as a big guffaw or who seemingly just are happy for the spotlight (like most of the press) - I wish I had their bomb shelters.

Sadly I think we were heading there even if Hillary had won. As much as I wish she had won, and I'm terrified of what we'll be getting due to her loss, I'm glad that the Republicans won't have her, or the left in general, to put their failures on.

I think the article was implying that Bannon and Miller were fine with letting him hang out to dry because of the immigration, so when the tape came out he had no chance.

David Gregory will be on that Good Wife spinoff. The Good Fight. In the uncensored trailer he has a darkly lit ass shot. It doesn't look as flat as it did on OLTL, so at least he's managed some improvement on weak points.

None of this has any resemblance to Michelle, who was a very self-determined woman. The show is now seemingly saying that being insecure about her age and looks made her seduce a 16-year old student (in a magical land where there are no legal consequences and he can fly around the world to reunite with her). Lee's story was actually pretty good for the first few months. Somewhere along the way they decided to make him "bad" so that we could agree with the idea that he must be sent away and that a mentally ill person can only spare everyone around them the pain of being near them.

I read about how the Today show was using that clip of penis head to promote themselves. With that mindset she will continue to be employed by all the networks.

I think he would get a lot of support just for not being Trump and not tweeting rage 50 times a day. But I hope you're right.

At this point I don't think that many people are desperate for Pence to be POTUS. It just seems to be something that is likely to happen if this path continues. I certainly don't look forward to it, because he is the exact type the media will swoon over, as he is the stern father, which they always fall for, and he hates the "right" people for media support (lgbt people, "bad" women, minorities, the poor).

Oof. Has Mika always been an SNL impersonation of herself? I saw a bit of that Stephen Miller interview when Colbert was ripping it - it's really terrifying. I guess I should be glad these people are willing to leave the shadows and let us see their true face, but it's hard to believe this is real sometimes.

This type of thing is probably one of the reasons she was moved around so much the last time she worked at the White House. I still can't believe she's worked there for two different Presidents. Spicer, followed by Priebus who is widely disliked inside, then Either Kellyanne or Miller, both of whom are in the crosshairs, with Conway being very disliked by some of the Trumpite inner circle. Then: Jared (sacrificed to save Bannon) Bannon Who do you think will replace them? I have a feeling Conway will be around to the bitter end. Flynn clearly never should have been put in a role. I assume there was a lot of pushback but he got the job because of loyalty. Which only goes so far with these people. I wonder if Rudy will be getting a call to join up soon.

I think the only positive thing I've read is that he was one of the people who pushed back on some of Mike Pence's bigot EOs, but that's about it. And of course I doubt that will last much longer.

I keep reading articles about how this is the norm for Trump, but I still can't process that all of this plays out in the public eye. It's just draining.

I don't really believe that she is some type of gift to be bought and sold mostly because with all the leaks going around and the many scandals about his personal life last year, we would have heard about it by now. If she was throwing herself here, there and everywhere it wouldn't be a secret and I doubt she'd be doing it so obviously as that photo either. I do think that their relationship doesn't have enough boundaries because she is obviously his favorite child and he uses her to "prove" to the world what a big man he is and also to hurt his other children.
