Yes, Ponzini was there up to about 1975 or 1976, I think. When he was on Rituals, he said that he was easier to deal with now than he was in earlier years, so I assume there may have been some problems. Then he came and went from OLTL again very briefly in 1988, as another character. According to Schemering's book: Ponzini - 68-75; 87 Jordan Charney 75-77 Michael Ingram 77-81 Ingram was also on The Doctors at one point I believe. The Woleks seemed to become more waspy looking with passing years. Thanks for reading any of it. I still have some to go - up to about 1983 (I don't have all the issues from those years, but will post what I have). I know it's probably too much to read but decided I might as well post it now before the show ends.

There were several Vinnie recasts - Jordan Charney (who I assume was hired due to his old ties to Agnes Nixon through AW) and then someone else. I think the first actor, Anthony Ponzini (?), was very difficult to deal with at that time.

Her entire career has been hysteria. She ramped up hate when she was a Minnesota state legislator (and sadly her brand of true believers now run the state legislature - one of them was just forced out because of an alleged affair with a staffer...family values!). She did the same in Congress. This type of stuff pays big bucks, but even if it didn't, she'd probably shout it out on everywhere she went. That's just what she is. I will always think of her as the woman who hid in the bushes. Maybe she and Rachel from Big Brother can have their own show.

Loved Meg on AMC. I also really like what I've seen of her on The Doctors. One of many actors who never got the credit they deserved.

John mentioned this in the main thread, but I wanted to post it here for those who may just look at this thread. Totally Kate has done an interview with Claire Labine, and Kate Mulgrew was also there, talking and asking questions. It's audio, but has some photos. Great to hear a few stories of the old days. As for the caucus results - I am not surprised Romney won. I am surprised it was as close as it was. Still, Santorum will lose New Hampshire badly and he has no charisma, which means he has little chance in many of the states that also distrust Romney. I think the race is pretty much over. Now we will get months on end of how shocking it is that the GOP chose someone who is quasi-moderate, even though Romney is actually very far to the right on every single issue and will have no choice but to do the bidding of the extreme far right if he gets elected. I hope those who are expecting any focus on jobs will instead look forward to yet another debate over abortion, the evils of the poor, and banning gays from the military. I am also curious about whether he will try to change any animal cruelty laws.
