He looks a lot like Sean Penn and Peter Deluise.

Looks like she worked fairly steadily up to a few years ago. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0924554/ Those 1982 clips - I watched them a few years back and they felt so listless and so odd. Wasn't there something about smuggling dogs into America? I can't remember.

Edge of Night (EON) (No spoilers please)
I imagine fans at the time couldn't understand the change. I'm sure to a modern viewer, like me or you, it wouldn't be as jarring, because daytime has fallen so far.

The only reason I really remember her is because the second Blair went on to an equally boring, pointless role on OLTL (as Cameron/Olivia), shortly after being written out of AW. She was boring the hell out of viewers for a solid year.

Blair Baker. I always remember her for Drueding writing "bugger this!" rather than write about her relationship with Matt. I think he was abused as a child or something.

The stories going around always amounted to: - To pay for RKK's salary, a mid-level person had to go. - Donna was going to die, but fans saw the writing on the wall and freaked out - JFP decided the choice was between Frankie and Paulina, and went to a focus group, who preferred Paulina to Frankie - After the backlash over Frankie's death when it was leaked, JFP supposedly tried to get DePriest to tone down or change things, but DePriest did not, as she wanted to make sure Cass was single and he could be more like he was in her mid-80's stint with the show. Of course, I 100% agree with DePriest (if the story is true) that that Cass was preferable to the dour Cass/Frankie era, where IMO there was always a strong, depressing undertone that Cass was not and would not be good enough for Frankie, but that was a terrible way to go about it and the only thing it accomplished was nearly getting Stephen Schnetzer fired from the show.

munecojim is uploading some of the October 1988 episodes that had Jamie living at the Frame farm and had the blowup over Matthew learning about his conception. https://www.youtube.com/user/munecojim- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread

Did any of you watch the Sami/Austin wedding on DAYS in 1997 (the one Carrie interrupted)? They had a long, long, long sequence where seemingly every person in the audience thought about the wedding, or their own relationships (my favorite was Susan saying she was sure the wedding wouldn't happen because this was Salem). I wonder if JER watched this Doctors episode. I was a little sad we didn't get to hear Ed and Anna.- Hollyoaks: Discussion Thread

Cain unattractive You're lucky you didn't see him when he had that awful Cousin Itt hair. Cain and Marlon are cousins. Marlon is from another branch of the Dingle family, with his father briefly appearing about 15 years ago, and his brother Eli being a regular from 2006-2010. Charlotte Bellamy was so damn good in tonight's episodes, especially that last scene with Marlon. Saying "maybe this is a good thing" gave me chills. The mania and the loss of any life in her eyes was even worse. I really wish she was up for a panel award. And BE, I hope you were as happy as I was at that brief Doug and Leyla scene. It was almost like the old days. I love that little group, with David and Alicia too. Emma - that plot was tough to take seriously thanks to Chas' dancing, which cracked me up, as did her blase reaction to Emma's mugging, and the earlier scene with Finn trying to take Aaron's beer bottle in case he got upset again. It's a shame they did such a terrible job casting and writing James - he sticks out so much in these types of moments. Anyway, this was put up today: Nick Miles looks so different.- Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
I love that (the men spread out that way). I've only watched the first one so far but Charlotte is superb. Mark Charnock isn't bad either. And Jeff Hordley is great. I'm surprised at how much is focusing on his past and his child abuse, very surprised they brought Zak into it. I wonder if we're heading for a Cain meltdown.- The Doctors Discussion Thread
I don't mind Jody Lee unless he starts singing too much or saying "Liz Liz" too many times. I like that little friendship group. It's not something you get on soaps today.- DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos

Abi's only real story is being a pawn for Phil. Ben is his sycophant. Nothing for Jay or Lola. Lee and Whitney found some money and Whitney is having more scenes with Stacey again. That's about it. Denise is, or was, living with Dean, Buster, and Shirley (and Kim and Patrick), and I think they may have taken over the B&B because of her money issues, but I'm not sure.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I wouldn't have known it was him if it hadn't been in the comments section. He was kind of hot though.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I'd like to see Denise get to have a fun relationship (not Fatboy), but they seem so committed to making her miserable and tragic.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
On paper I get why she came back - to shore up the Jacksons/Brannings, to introduce her daughter, to help beef up the Fowlers again with a Martin recast. I just don't know if it's really worked. Rebecca seems superfluous and I don't care for the Martin recast at all. I also wanted to mention that I still like Denise a lot, but I just hate seeing her amidst the Carter misery.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I keep hearing people say it's gotten better again but most of what I see is all over the place. Oddly enough it's Ronnie who keeps me relatively interested even though I hated most of her stories the last time around. I still hate her stories, but I'm a little more interested in her. And of course I am also watching for Carol, but I keep thinking she'll be gone soon. Do you think anyone out there cares about Tina/Sonia/Martin?- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
It's unfortunate that even Kat attempting suicide was all about the Kalfie reunion - it cheapens the whole thing. I really think DTC had no idea what to do with them, especially since the arson story went down like a lead balloon.- The Politics Thread
