  1. The latest episode had some strong moments, but that scene where Linda reveals that Dean finally admitted to raping her and Buster almost immediately apologized TO MICK was disgusting.
  2. With this Zak affair story, it reminds to ask about his first wife. Why does Sam never mention his mother? Wikipedia doesn't say much.
  3. Up until last night, I was actually enjoying Vincent, despite Blackwood's bad acting, but the show playing Ronnie as a sympathetic murderer, while Vincent remains the villain because he "made" her do it, grates me. And this is coming from someone who fell in love with Ronnie because of the baby switch story. The murder of Fatboy in itself didn't bother me, but I agree it was unnecessary. However, it was the Bobby plot that disgusted me more. The banal writing for this haphazard story is embarrassing. After almost two years, the end of the story is ... nothing. No one has to pay any consequences for their horrible actions. And Phil/Ian's lame lie was infuriating to watch unfold. Poor Letitia Dean always tries her damnedest with the shoddy material, bless her.
  4. Ashley/Eric at the graveyard, mentioning how Tom King died, were brilliant scenes. Eric's reunion with David was so heartfelt, I teared up. For all it's worth, I like that Eric truly mourned for the love of his life. It's so rare these days then anyway gives a crap for a loved one passing for more than a week. Seeing Betty was a treat. Though it was odd not to have Victoria in that scene. Even more odd was Ashley's camera recording in black and white. Da fuq?
  5. I couldn't agree more. The last week of the year being another horrid Carter week is going to be torture.
  6. I'm obsessed with Julian Ovenden, Carl. His version of Being Alive was my favourite part of the BBC Sondheim birthday special a few years ago. Flawless.
  7. I really don't think Zoe Slater ever needs to be seen again. Kat's return has been a complete fail time and time again. The basic bitch of the Slater clan reappearing would only enforce that failure exponentially.
  8. Carli Norris was extremely underrated on Hollyoaks. One of Kirkwood's worst decisions this go around was getting rid of the Kane family and she was the biggest reason why. I have no doubt she'll turn it out.
  9. YouTube and dailymotion let me down today, but thankfully I found the finale elsewhere. As expected, Shortland Street delivered. Last night Homeland gave me palpitations, and today Shorty got my heart rate pumping full of anxiety. Let's start with the obvious. Dayna is a fool. Time and again, just when you think she's matured, she falls down the rabbit hole of stupidity. I can't wait for her to eat it when her, now husband, makes her eat it. This tweet from Lucy Elliot was pretty hilarious though:
  10. I really hope that Hope just arrested her great-nephew! I like that Valerie is looking into Chris Kositchek/Roman. I wouldn't be able to resist telling the tale either. Good casting on the Will front. I was never a big fan of Massey and Wilson was horrific. I hope you'll rectify Brady the same way if he ever turns up alive. Lowder was DOA and Martsolf has been a failure time and time again. I'd personally suggest Chad Brannon. It's so odd to see a random character like Liam still around. That's not a criticism, as long as I'm free to imagine him without the horrible ageing hair-do he sported on the show. Have you done anything with Bo yet or is he still MIA?
  11. 2015 TCM Remembers. Done too early, but to end on Maureen O'Hara makes up for it.
  12. I don't think Finn would be good for either Robert or Aaron as a romantic pair, but since Finn is always thirsty, he should at least offer himself up for them both to do as they wish.
  13. So very surprised at this horrible turn of events. Edna was one of the characters that made Emmerdale special. Shirley Stelfox was one of those actresses that truly transitioned into her characters completely. A devastating loss.
  14. Aw, good for him. He was pretty good on the show. He was one of the first new characters that was introduced after I first started watching. Time goes by so fast. I love Shortland Street movie time. They always knock it out of the park. So excited! The awkward silence as Bella ran her mouth about Boyd. Poor Bells. I understand the attraction though. Boyd isn't your typical soap hunk, but he's incredibly adorable, even if he can be annoying at times. But after the way he treated Brooke, getting his heart broken will be his just desserts. The whole situation does make me wonder if the show would ever put Bella in a bad light though. Can you imagine if she pissed off someone like Harper? Girl needs to watch her step. Victoria stays being the most shady bitch. Fascinating character, but Curtis putting her in her place was satisfying. I keep waiting for day that she just completely loses her damn mind.
  15. This has been one of the best seasons of the show and tonight's episode served one of the most cruel twists they've ever done. Devastated!
  16. Was it dumb of me to be surprised when Ali said he was Muslim? I wonder if they'll go anywhere with that. I think this was also the first time his girlfriend got a name, Sabina. Has the finale date been announced yet?
  17. This has been a great week. The wedding stuff was superb and tonight's episode was just insane. Lucy Pargeter was so good.
  18. My main man Darren finally gets the due he deserves. Nancy and Maxine are in love with him, and Grace is happily using him as a sex toy. The most logical thing to ever happen on this show.
  19. Completely agree on Bella's feelings for Boyd and especially Drew and Kylie's relationship. Amelia Reid was so great in the moment Bella came to that realization. I can't wait for this wedding. Disaster is imminent, I imagine. If they actually manage to marry, that will be quite the feat. However, all this doesn't mean Jimmy has an expiry date. He's been good to have around. I keep fearing that Millie's older boyfriend is going to turn out to be Ali. He said he had a girlfriend that he rarely mentions. I'm probably dead wrong, but that's just what this show does to me. Margaret is surely headed for a hard fall. I will grimace at the day, because I know smug Victoria will eat it up. Someone needs to sort her out. Oh, and what wonderful news to hear Harry will be gone for the summer. He's been mostly MIA for awhile anyway. Still, it's nice to see the writers slowly start putting him on the path to becoming a doctor. I hope any future regimes continue down that path. And then there's Damo. He can die anytime.
  20. The Bernice story is the best part of the show.
  21. The creator, Hazel Adair, has passed away. http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-34904322
