The color is the sound The screams were orange My footsteps silver Secret plan, man, I'll tell you if I can The evils of this world are at your doorstep Let me enter, friend, understand We have come to the convergence Now all the paths combine

Oops, about Archie. There were so many people, his firing slipt my mind. I pray Rhys stays around and Marquess realizes how unappreciated Andrew Moss is as an actor.

Is he still with Mercedes? And since Marquess is keeping him around, someone who has no family connections, I wonder if the fates will be the same to Archie, Rhys, etc ...

I hope Sutton isn't just blowing smoke. I'm kind of disappointed they're putting him back with Katie, but either way, it will be good just to see him again.

Fine by me. I hope Marquess' vision doesn't disappoint. Does he have a good history with Cindy types?

Nathan's back! Thanks to Lucy Pargeter's Twitter, it looks like Paul is returning for Jimmy and Nicola's wedding. Fun fact, that I cannot wrap my head around ... the actress who plays Edna Birch played a prostitute in "1984." I need to watch that film again to see if I recognize her. LoL

BRIGHT EYES - A Poetic Retelling of an Unfortunate Seduction and you watch them take the light from you and you find yourself on a velvet couch tasting the skin of a foreign girl her eyes are black and wet like oil and she ties your hands with a string of pearls and you tremble like a frightened bird as she closes in and captures you to place you in a silver cage deep within her poisoned womb

Does anyone know when the producer season interviews will be posted online? On a random note, I hope with all this talk of Jimmy & Nicola's wedding that the show is planning something big for it. For some reason, I just do not seeing it actually happening.

I liked Nikhil pretty quickly, but Jai is the one I had trouble liking at all, especially after the reveal that he owned the company instead, etc ... But yes, they're brotherly relationship is very well written. VICTORIA, IMO, should be the 1st person Aaron comes out to of his own accord. The reason I brought Maisie/Debbie up is because I've seen a few of their scenes where they battled against each other when Andy was dating Maisie and I felt they both gave as good as the other. A fair fight. I hope we get to see more of Faye/Ryan soon. I realize they just had a huge story, but I hope the writers have something good coming up for them. Especially Faye. Though with Nathan returning soon, maybe I spoke too soon? Of course, I'd also like to see Viv and Liz more, but that seems like a pipe dream. Which is weird concerning Liz, since Blyth created her.

Ciao Eli. I can't say I'll miss you too much. Adam and Eve! They should pair these two up for their name alone! Just like in the bible Eve will be the reason he gives in to temptation. LoL Love it! I wish they would show David's jealousy of Sam more. At least, I think he's jealous of Sam's relationship with Eric. Marlon always coming to the aid of Sam is freaking annoying. He needs to STFU, it's none of his business. Lastly, that dinner date was hilarious. Could Nikhil be paired with Maisie? Then Debbie returns and they could have a nice rivalry going there. Carl, do you think Debbie and Maisie could be good as rivals?

Good to know I wasn't the only one fooled. Maybe it was just (very) wishful thinking. LoL Did you like Jo and the actress that played her? It seems to me she had a pretty big fanbase. Just finished Daniel's death episode. I need a hug and some ice cream. On a superficial note, Nicola sure did used to be a skinny bitch, eh? How did she and Laurel become best friends?

Whoa, Carl, is the hot guy that used to work with Marlon in the kitchen gay? I just watched the first few seconds of the Daniel,s death episode and he said he is. But I can't tell if he's joking or not.

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
AMS, to add, the show is also seemingly building up a Katie/Ryan/Eve triangle. As to your question, I am currently watching the 70's episodes as well (just started really, like, yesterday). Presently, the show just hit the climax of the Aaron story so now the show is in build up mode to whatever the next lead story will be. Being that I've built up a connection to the characters I am still very interested but a newer viewer like yourself may be a tad bit bored. For example, a new story with Nicola is starting next week. I found Emmerdale very easy to get into and understand. Just looking at this thread I, myself, had quite a few questions, but the when I started (with the first episode of James Sutton's Ryan character) the show easily hooked me and got me to care about the characters and where the story was going. In the end, I suggest for you to start watching now. The THURSDAY double episodes usually have some good plot movement in them. Though I started with every episode from late June 2009, I suggest you watch the current show but, in time, watch the great moments like Ryan/Lamb reveal, Sally trying to kill Laurel, etc just like you would with any other show's best moments. For instance, I have previously watched the famous plane crash of 1993 etc ...

Emmerdale: Discussion Thread
Yay, glad to have you with AMS! In the vaguest of summaries ... Aaron is gay. He hates himself and tried to commit suicide. Ashley was raped by psycho Sally and now that she's in prison etc ..., he's having trouble being intimate with his wife. Holly is a coke-head. Eric and Val own the B&B with Terry. Eric and Val let Olena, an illegal immigrant, work there and now that the Ukraine have taken her back, the business has taken a hit. Bob is married to Viv. When she wrote him a letter from prison, he thought she was going to divorce him. Gennie, feeling rejected over her bad luck with men, has some wine with him one night, and they have sex. Gennie and Jamie (Bob's son) then fell in love. Jamie found out and broke up with her, but eventually they reconciled. Viv still doesn't know. Natasha killed her cheating husband Mark, but everyone thinks he just left town after the his past and present trials were revealed. He was a bigamist (with Faye) and had an illegitimate son, Ryan, and was planning to reconcile with his first wife. Ryan and Maisie (Natasha and Mark's daughter) almost hooked up before they found out they were siblings. Maisie had a breakdown, but has since recovered. Only Nathan, (Natasha and Mark's son) knows the truth. He blackmailed his mother to give him all the family's money and agreed to Natasha's demand that he leave town. Debbie Dingle (the actress is on maternity leave) is in New Jersey on a job (she is the owner of "The Garage.") with her and Andy Sugden's daughter, Sarah. Eli Dingle and Sam Dingle were both in love with Olena. Olena loved Eli. Eli is set to leave the village soon. Sam is mad at his father Zak for trying to get Olena out of town behind his back. Declan has bought the majority of shares of Natasha's farm, as she is having money issues thanks to Nathan and Mark's accounts being closed because of his "disapperance." Doug likes Diane (the owner of the Woolpack.) He lives with her. Diane and Doug are very good friends. Diane likes Rodney's friend, who may have something for her too. Eve has returned to town. Katie hates her. Eve used to be a bad girl and was responsible for her and Andy's friend going to prison (or dying, I can't remember which.) Due to Andy's past he has agreed to let sleeping dogs lie, Katie is still a bitch to her though. Eve says, she's a changed woman now. Not even her grandmother, Edna Birch, believes her. Is there more Carl? I strongly URGE you to watch the CLIMAX and subsequent AFTERMATH of the Wydle/Lamb story. Utterly thrilling. You can find the story by itself on YouTube.

You don't how happy I am that he is investing in Darren. Lucy Allen totally backpedaled this character when I watched it. And Cindy bitching it up is sure to be fun. Eventually, if his characterizations turn out well, I would like to see the return of Mandy to the canvas.

We must band together and hope that Cheryl's death is inevitable. That flunky cow needs to hit the bricks, literally! This interview gives me a little hope that the lack of excitement for Steph from Marquess is purely because she's preggers. I hope her leave isn't too long. This is something I more than encourage! I was serious in the Y&R thread that I'd kill over 95% of the cast. And over half of OLTL'S as well. Hell, the only interesting character on Days is Maggie. Everyone else is a waste of space.
