With Paddy feeling left out next week, can it be too hopeful of me that Blackburn will reunite Marlon and Rhona and have them leave the village forever? I will admit, I do like that Paddy will be going to Chas for advice, instead of the other way around. Their complex friendship is one of the best things about the show, and is needed more in soap, period.

It seems the show is finally playing with the cast and mixing up the characters a bit next week. I won't be watching, since most of the week centers on Ruby, but it's good to see different people will be interacting. However, the show feels like a transition period and really needs a new solid story to make it watchable again.

Haha, with all these great exits maybe by 2012 things will start looking up for Emmerdale. Plus, there are rumours on DS that

The Noah and Liberty hatred on DS is the purest of joys to read.

The only one I'll miss is Eve. She had so much potential, only to be used as a plot device again, again and again.

I think Alex Carter did probably leave on his own as he was only originally going to be around for six months. He left Emmerdale because they didn't use him properly, so there's no reason why he would stay at Hollyoaks for the same reason. Unfortunately, I don't think it means anything hopeful. One word: Savages. The thing I fear most now though is the backburnering of Amy.

Him and Ashley Slanina-Davies had great chemistry. I only wish the show hadn't kept going in circles with the Amy/Lee/Leanne story. The other two, especially Duncan, are just beautiful gifts of fate. Thank you world. Bronagh Waugh has recently expressed that she has been trying to urge the writers to give her a story. Let's hope Philips tells her to shove it!

Oh, and Carl, one of your favourite Hollyaoks actors joins Emmerdale next Thursday. Matt Milburn, who played Joe Spencer (R.I.P) I can't wait to see how they underuse and waste him like they do with more than half the cast.

There have now been two Hollyoaks alumni on the show. And it looks like the second (the blond gay, sorry I'm not good with names) will be a more integral part of the show.

There is nothing for which I am responsible. Just this baggage I'll keep carrying on as if I had someone. OK, maybe there is a woman somewhere who's still thinking of me or a girl with coal black hair who's haunted in her dreams. But what they've seen, well it wasn't me. It was just some lie that they slept beside. I kept this from them but I can't keep this from you. So will you look for me in that strange, bright place. Where the statues bloom in the park. They don't need no rain. Because how I ever got to you, I have no idea. It's like some secret door, well it just appeared. So, no matter what I do from now on with my time. you will always stay here in my mind. I am certain of this and I am not certain of anything. So I want to get myself attached to something bolted down, So that these winds of circumstance won't keep blowing me around. From when I land to when I leave there is enough time to sleep and sing. I keep running around, when all I want is to lay motionless.

Hallelujah, it's official. Though this still leaves many, many unwanted folk in the village, at least this barricuda of annoyance will be gone forever.

What a can of worms ... First, I'd want to keep Kelly and Eve. Exits (other than those already announced): Alex Moss (the new farmhand), Cameron, All the Maceys/Bartons, Hazel, Bob, Brenda, Jai, Alicia, Leyla, Lizzie, Amy, Sandy, the King's, Nicola and Rodney, Aaron, Pearl, Rhona/Marlon/Paddy & Katie. On the fence: Cain, Zak, Charity, Chastity ... Of course, this wouldn't all happen at once, but gradually as I brought in some past characters who would fit nicely back in the village. Like the remaining Windsors, Biff Fowler, Zoe and the children, Kathy and her family, Steph, Bernice, Robert, Paul, Tina, Daz, etc ... And yes, I'd recast if I must. I'm cutthroat, yo!

That's what I was thinking. They salivated at being able to ruin another legacy character. And what pisses me off the most is that my pipe dream for Scott to return (moreso to see the absolutely sexy Ben Freeman on a regular basis) is cut significantly. Maybe next they'll say Robert use to molest Victoria. WATCH!

Jesus Christ, this Heather story rages my hatred of her to an all time high. This is a SOAP OPERA, not a child's misadventures. Get the hell outta here! And using Dot to hate on Denise and prop that wet blanket was NOT COOL. And the actor that plays Ben is atrocious. Truly and epicly. Kill him off, please!
