Secrets & Lies: Episode 137
Saturday, March 10, 2007

Monica was making the rounds at the hospital, thankfully glad that Alan had the day off. The more she saw him, the more she thought about possibly being exposed for her affair with Kevin. A quick frown appeared on her face, as she thought as to how Kevin suddenly kept a distance from her; she knew it was for the best, but a small part of her wanted to be with him; to make love to him to erase all the stress from her mind. Shaking her head, she made her way to the admittance desk. When she approached, she saw a bouquet of flowers there and immediately peeked at the card.

"Georgie, I was wondering if you could take these to Bobbie when you're done working," Monica asked the young girl who was standing beside her. "Since Bobbie is on vacation, it would be good for her to get these before they wilt," she said, handing her the flowers and making her way back to her office.

Once inside, she closed the door behind her. Just a few minutes of solitude is all she needed; regardless of whether it would help with her decision or not, she just needed some quiet. Closing her eyes, she thought of the taunting words David said to her. Either step down from your position as Chief Cardiologist, or I'll reveal your affair with Kevin to your husband You have till Saturday to make your decision. Either she give David exactly what he wants, trying her hardest to come up with an excuse as to why she stepped down, or face the wrath of not only Alan, but the entire Quartermaine family. Putting her head on the desk, she realized either way, she'd lose something.

"My, my, my, dear Monica, I didn't realize that this was going to be a 'tough' decision for you," David sneered, closing the door behind him. "Tomorrow is the deadline, you do realize that, right?" Sliding into a seat across from her, he was enjoying watching her sweat.

"Get the hell out of my office," she hissed, glaring at him. "I haven't decided anything, so I don't know why you insist on slinking in here like the snake that you are."

Laughing evilly, he continued on to taunt her. "Oooh, do you kiss your lover with that feisty mouth of yours?" Standing up, he put his hands in his pants pocket. "Never mind your answer to that question...all I care about is this: I want a positive answer to what I want from you. Your job for my silence."

As he let the door slam behind him, Monica did all she could not to scream or throw anything; she instead eyed the photo of her and Alan. Picking it up, she stared at the man she once loved; the man who was the father of her children; the man that would pitch a murderous fit when he learned she's leaving the very career that she loved.

Bobbie tried her best to clean up the mess she made of her home, but there was still more work to be done. Picking up the empty Smirnoff bottle, she placed it in the garbage bag along with the other things she destroyed. She couldn't get a handle of what was going on with her; and every time she thought about Lucas, the waterworks and the drinking began.

Tying the garbage bag, she proceeded to head to the door to dump it in the garbage can. As she opened the door, she saw Georgie standing on her stoop. "Georgie, what are you doing here," she asked, looking around to see if anyone else was nearby waiting for her. She suddenly noticed the floral bouquet. "Did you bring those for me?"

Smiling a little, Georgie looked at the bouquet. "Well, yes, I brought them to you, but they didn't come from me. Someone left them for you at the hospital." When Bobbie didn't move out of the way, she raised an eyebrow. "Did I come at a bad time?"

Suddenly realizing that Georgie wanted to come in, she stepped to the side. "Please forgive the mess. I had a little accident and knocked a few things over," she lied, placing the bag on the stoop and closed the door. "So, let's see who these are from?" Taking the flowers from Georgie, she read the card. "Oh, they came from Luke. He must have thought I was returning back from my vacation."

"Yeah, it felt kind of weird not seeing at the hospital. When Monica saw the flowers, she asked me to bring them to you so they wouldn't die."

Looking at the young girl, Bobbie smiled a little. "It was nice of you to bring them to me. I thought you would be out with your friends, though. You and Dillon didn't have plans?" When she saw the change in Georgie's face, she couldn't help but ask her what was wrong. "Are things not going well for Dillon and you?"

Shaking her head a little, she answered back. "No, not really. We aren't seeing each other. I opted to stay at the hospital when I found out that Dillon was going to a frat/sorority party."

"You shouldn't stop enjoying yourself just because the two of you are at odds. The two of you have been such good friends. I'm sure if you would have been there, Dillon would have enjoyed your company."

"I'm sure Dillon is having a wonderful time without me,' she said wistfully. "Besides, he's not by himself. Lucas went to the party, and so did Lulu; so, yeah, I'm sure he's in good company."

Horror flashed before Bobbie's eyes as she heard that Lucas was at the fraternity party. The flowers that she held in her hands immediately fell to the floor, the vase smashing into pieces. "Georgie, what fraternity was Lucas going to?" When Georgie gave her a puzzled look, Bobbie grabbed her by the arm. "Tell me!"

"I don't really know....Um, I think it was with Alpha Gamma Alpha and Psi Omega Tu. They're right by each other," she said, beginning to get scared. "What's wrong?"

Grabbing her car keys and jacket, Bobbie ran out the door without looking back.

Back at the party, Lucas helped Dillon onto the bed, hoping that he would be okay. "Dillon, are you feeling alright?" he asked, deeply concerned for his friend. "Man, you need to pace yourself when you're drinking at parties like this," he teased, laughing a little, but stopped immediately. "If you're going to be sick let me know so I can get you to the bathroom."

"Nah, I think I'm alright. I'm just a little dizzy. If I sit down here for a bit, I should be fine." Rubbing his head, Dillon never felt a strong hit like this from drinking beer. "I've had beer many times but not to the point where it makes me feel dizzy."

Sitting beside him, Lucas smiled a little. "Maybe it was something you at here. Sometimes food doesn't agree with you; plus, um, the sorority sisters made most of the snacks, so there's really no telling."

Downstairs, Lulu was outside giving Brandon the heads up of what happened. "Yeah, Dillon obviously can't hold his liquor," she joked, sitting on the steps beside him. "Lucas wanted me to tell you that he will be back downstairs shortly."

"Thanks, Lulu. I was so busy trying to get rid of that annoying Maxie, I didn't realize that Lucas might have needed my help." Feeling a little guilty, he decided to go back inside and check on his boyfriend and his friend. "I think I should go up and check on them."

"Let them be, Brandon. Lucas and Dillon are big boys. Besides, come sit by me and keep me company." She saw that he was still kind of worried. "Listen, if Lucas doesn't come back downstairs in fifteen minutes, then go up and check on them, but I'm telling you, I don't think there's anything really to worry about."

Taking her at her word, Brandon sat back down beside her on the steps of the sorority house.

(Back in the bedroom)

It was Lucas' turn to feel a little out of sorts. He didn't know if it was in fact food he had or if he drank something he shouldn't have. He drank beer, however, he also had a few mixed drinks added on to that. Rubbing his head, he made his way to the head of the bed to rest his head on a pillow.

"I think you jinxed me, man" he grumbled to Dillon who was beside him. Punching him in the arm, he smiled a little. "I'm just glad that you decided to come to the party, sick or not."

Rising up a little, Dillon looked at his friend. "I'm glad that you convinced me to come too. You know I'd do anything for you, right?"

He couldn't deny that he was definitely attracted to Lucas; whether it is the intoxication, or just the fact that he couldn't hide the feelings he was having.

"It's really no problem, Dillon. You and I will always be cool, you know that. You are a very close friend to me."

Without hesitation, Dillon let the following confession pour from his lips. "I wish I was much more than just your close friend, Lucas. You are the one person I think about the most; and I wish there was more."

Lucas could do nothing but look at Dillon as he said the words.

Ignacio Serricchio TERMINATED!!! Diego to be recast

SOD- In a move that should surprise no one, General Hospital has opted to release Ignacio Sericchio from his contract. Sericchio, who originated the role of Diego Sanchez-Alcazar in 2004 hasn't always been a favorite of the fans. Up until his character shared scenes with Lindze Letherman, he was constantly criticized for his lackluster performances. Head Writer Ryan Chandler has confirmed to us that the role will be recast in the form of Tyler Hoechlin. Hoechlin, who has acted opposite Tom Hanks, was most recently seen on the 'WB's 7th Heaven' as Martin. Hoechlin is very excited to be taking over a role that has much potential. "I am really looking forward to working with Ted [King]. I've been a big fan of his work for years and hope that the fans will like what I bring to the role". Hoechlin has been with the show since January, though the show opted to keep the recast under wraps until now.

Opening Video

- Mac and Lucky executed the orders Anna had given to them, and picked up Lorenzo. He was read his rights as they walked into the PCPD's squad room. An officer was already typing up the report as Lucky sat Lorenzo in the chair.

"Sit down ..." Lucky ordered as he shoved Lorenzo down into the chair.

"So what am I being arrested for this time?" Lorenzo asked.

"A whole list of charges, Alcazar. Do you want me to read them all?" Lucky said sarcastically.

"Yeah I would, then I want my phone call to call my attorney."

"Well let's start off with receiving stolen merchandise and possession with the intent to distribute said stolen merchandise...how does that grab ya?"

Lorenzo rolled his eyes at Lucky snarkiness. "Yeah, can I call my attorney now?"

"Well, see about that ... it might take a while to get you processed, you know fingerprints, pictures, and typing up the reports. Perhaps I can get you that phone call in a few hours."

"The caring from you, Lucky is astounding, you know that?" Lorenzo replied as Lucky grabbed his arm to stand him up.

"Come on, we're taking a little walk...and I don't need to hear your mouth."

- Looking at the young woman, the tall gentleman, Ric Lansing, immediately saw a familiar resemblance to her. “I don’t want to sound corny or anything, but have we met before?”

Sarah immediately smiled at his question. “I don’t believe so, but now that I think of it, you look familiar to me as well.” Sarah wouldn’t deny to herself that she thought this man looked invitingly handsome, and that there was something about him that peaked her curiosity.

As for Ric, it took only a quick moment to realize who she reminded him of. She looked so much like Elizabeth. “Can I ask you a question?” he said, clearing his throat. “You said you were going to look for your sister. Would that sister by any chance be Elizabeth Webber?”

A puzzled look came over Sarah’s face. “How do you know who I’m sisters with?” she questioned, taking a step back from him. “Who are you?”

Extending his hand to her, Ric gave a small smile. “I didn’t mean to scare you, but I’m Elizabeth’s ex-husband, Ric Lansing.”

Snatching her hand from his, Sarah glared at him. “So you’re the bastard that caused my sister so much pain.”

- Jason comes home to find Liz sitting on his sofa. Though he’s surprised to see her, he’s very happy that she’s there. Liz (obviously drunk) comes on to Jason very hard. In her inebriated state, her feelings for Jason pour out. He tries to calm her down, but she vents to him about everything: work, home, Lucky, the stress of being a mother and so much more. Without Jason’s friendship she wouldn’t know what to do. Feelings within Jason begin to come to the surface and he kisses her. He stops himself before they go too far, but can’t resist her. Liz pulls Jason into another embrace and they two make love.

- Maxie being computer illiterate asks someone she knows will be easy to manipulate into helping her get the files she needs from Dillon's computer. She asks a computer wizard, named Paul to assist her in her plans.

"I need you to do something for me." she flirts with Paul.

He not sure what she's up to, but enjoys the attention, nonetheless. "To do what? Is this another one of your brilliant plans again Maxie?" Paul hesitant to help her, not wanting to get caught up in all the drama that is Maxie Jones.

"I can't tell you. But I need you, Paul." Maxie replied as she turned on the charm. "I need you to hack into someone's computer and retrieve some files for me."

"Isn't that illegal?"

"It's only illegal if you get caught, and we're not going to get caught. Do you know why?"

"Why, Maxie?"

By now, Maxie is laying on the flirtation thick to get Paul to do what she wants, and he's a pile of goo in her hands. "Because you're just that good at what you do, Paul." she flirted.

Paul beginning to stutter and sweat, he's always had a crush on her but knew she'd never go for a guy like him. A computer wiz, smart, and intelligent. Not Maxie's type. But she could make him do just about anything for her.

"Where's the .... computer and .... what files do .... you need?" Paul stuttered as he conceded to helping her.

Maxie reached into the bag she had carried with her and pulled out Dillon's laptop. She had swiped it from Dillon earlier, she didn't have much time to get what she needed and get it back to Dillon before he'd begin to miss it.

"Here ..." she handed the laptop to Paul.

Paul opened it up and began to do what he need to do to find the files Maxie was looking for. "Why do want these so bad, Maxie?"

"Don't talk, hack ..." she replied and handed him a CD to use to put the files on that she requested.

Paul put the CD in the laptop and downloaded the files she wanted. Maxie grinned with glee as she saw the files being downloaded, but wanted Paul to work faster, she didn't have a whole lot of time.

"Hurry up, Paul. I don't have a lot of time! Doesn't this thing go any faster?"

"Patience, my dear .... patience."

Maxie was getting antsy, she needed to get Dillon's computer back to him before he started looking for it. The download was finally complete and Paul removed the disc from the computer.

"Here you go ..." he said as he handed the disc to her.

"Thank you ... a million thank you's." she said as she snatched the CD from his hand.

"Anytime ..." Paul said as he smiled and got all dreamy.

Maxie grabbed the laptop and put it back in her bag, and put the disc into her purse. "You're the best, you know that?" she said as she complimented him and then left, leaving him still wondering what she needed the files for, but really didn't care, he just enjoyed the feeling of being needed by Maxie Jones.

Sam found herself wanting to breathe some fresh air, she had been cooped up in the apartment for far too long. She made her way to the rooftop of the apartment building and breathed in the air she so desired. She didn't know how long she was up there, but it didn't take her long to lose track of time as she started to fantasize about what life would be like with Lucky. They had been spending a lot of time together, and being in close quarters, feelings for him were starting to develop for her. As she sat wondering about what could be, she was startled back to reality by Nikolas, who came looking for her.

"Hi .... I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you." he said as he approached her.

"Hi .. I was just ...."

"Daydreaming? Yeah you were pretty deep in thought."

Sam smiled and blushed a little at the thought of Nikolas knowing who she was daydreaming about. "What are you doing here?" she asked as Nikolas came and sat down beside her.

"I came with a proposition for you." he said as her eyes widened.

"A proposition?"

"Yeah. You've trapped in that tiny apartment for too long, and I think you'd more comfortable at Wyndemere. You'd have the entire island to yourself. Lucky can move in too if you want. I mean, if that makes it more comfortable for you that he is there."

"It was too good to be true. A situation like this doesn't fall into your lap every day," she thought. "Can I think about it?" she asked.

"Sure ... the offer stands, and you can move in whenever you're ready to." Nikolas smiled.

"Thank you for offering Nikolas, and I’m not trying to be rude. But why are you doing this?" Sam questioned his motives.

"Because I want to. I see how you are here with Lucky. You need room to stretch your legs, besides, Wyndemere is much nicer then the apartment you live in now. And it's away from everyone on the mainland. Like I said, you'd have the entire island to yourself."

“But what if someone sees me. Lucky tells me that you’re dating umm….what’s her name….Carly?”

“I’ve already informed the guards that if anyone who isn’t Lucky, I or Lainey arrive, we are to be warned before hand.”

It didn't take Sam long to figure out this offer will only come to her once. She agreed to move into Wyndemere with Nikolas, but on one condition. Lucky is part of the deal.

- As they walked down the hall to booking, Lucky had Lorenzo by the arm, he still in hand cuffs. Lorenzo saw her coming. The infamous Anna Devane, she very much intrigued him. He eyed her up and down as she approached them. She stops them to get the report on Lorenzo's arrest.

"Everything went smoothly, I assume ..." she said to Lucky as they stopped to talk in the hallway.

Lorenzo smiled as she stood before him, not paying him any mind. "Yeah, smooth as silk. I'm taking him down to booking now. We'll get all the formalities out of the way, and then I figured you wanted to have a chat with him."

Anna looked up at Lorenzo. "I do indeed ..." she smirked and Lorenzo smiled in return.

Anna walked passed them and Lucky continued walking Lorenzo down to the booking area of the PCPD. They needed to this by the book if they wanted the charges against Lorenzo to stick this time. He was looking at prison time if Anna had her way. And Anna Devane always gets her way.

Secrets & Lies: Episode 54-59

Opening Video

- Lucas and Bobbie sit in her living room in silence. They both try to start conversation but can never finish what it is they’d like to say. Finally, Bobbie decides to put this time to good use.

“Are you happy Lucas?” she asks. “I mean are you truly happy. Does this Brandon treat you well?”

He looks up at his mother with much love and responds. “Yes I do. I have never been happier. Brandon makes me feel loved. I connect with him. I feel him.”

“I just don’t understand this whole change in you Lucas. Did someone make you this way?”

“You think someone ‘turned’ me gay?” asks Lucas with slight laughter. “If you think that I went to a sleepover as a kid and was brainwashed to like guys? If so then you’re wrong. I was born this way.”

Bobbie begins to tense up at this point. She’s afraid of what to say to him next, fearing that it’ll come out wrong and she’ll drive him away yet again.

- When Monica comes home from work, all she wants to do is have a nice long bath and remember her wonderful time with Kevin. She puts her key in the door and finds Alan sitting in the downstairs room. Unlike most days, Alan doesn’t even speak to Monica. She had already prepared herself for him being a pain in the ass and apologizes to her, but this threw her for a loop. Monica reluctantly speaks to Alan, but all she gets as a response is a look. Alan grabs his paper and goes upstairs.

Angry that he’s ignoring her, she follows him trying to pick an argument. She follows him into his room and asks why he isn’t talking to her. When he doesn’t respond, she fears that he may have overseen her with Kevin, but realizes it couldn’t have happened because she locked the door. Without even looking at her, Alan says that things will be different between them from now on. Until she can learn to show him some respect, he will not speak to her unless it pertains to their job. She tells him to shove it and goes to walk out. He stops her before she leaves, and informs her that until further notice, she is to refer to him as Dr. Quartermaine.

- At Lucky’s, Nikolas learns that Lucky believes Helena faked her death and altered Sam’s memory. Nikolas doesn’t think that Helena would pay that much attention to Sam, especially since she didn’t know Sam was her step-granddaughter. Nikolas demands to know why Lucky kept this secret. His brother explains that he did it to protect Sam. We don’t know if Helena knows Sam is missing from wherever she was being held. For some reason unknown to them, she came to Lucky. That’s nothing he can do about that. The less people that know she’s alive, the safer she’ll be.

Nikolas promises to help protect Sam but will need time to get some things into place. Before he goes, he wants to know if Lucky is going to tell Jason that she’s alive. Lucky says that Sam’s memory is very fragile right now and he thinks her seeing Jason will do more harm than good. All the while, Sam has been eavesdropping on their conversation. When Nikolas leaves, Sam smiles and walks back into the bedroom.

- Carly walks into Sonny’s mansion to inform him about their holiday plans. Sonny however wants to talk only about Nikolas. According to Courtney, things between the two of them are getting a little more personal. First off, Carly’s offended that Courtney is off running her mouth to Sonny and secondly, that Sonny has the audacity to question her about what goes on in her personal life.

Instead of getting mad and storming out, she tells Sonny that she likes Nikolas. He makes her hot. He makes her want to be a better person. They connect with each other. However they are not together and she doesn’t know if they ever will be. Carly tells Max that she’s ready to leave. Sonny asks why she came over, but she won’t tell him. She says that maybe he should have asked her that instead of prying into her personal life.

- Back at Bobbie’s, Bobbie and Lucas are still talking.

“I know you feel that you were born that way, but I think it’s your choice. You always have to be bold and go against the norm. That’s why I think you’re going through this whole gay phase.”

“Go against the norm? So what, I’m not normal now?” Lucas begins to tear up. “You think that I chose to be this way? It’s not a choice. Do you think I would purposely choose to make my life and the lives of my family difficult? Do you think that I would choose to live a life where I am hated just because I am the way I am? God mother, why do you hate me so much?”

“I don’t hate you.”

“Yes you do! There have been so many times when I’ve wanted to come and confide and you but couldn’t because you made it perfectly clear that you hated me in my choices. It’s bad enough that I hate myself, but to have you hate me too is just too much.”

Lucas really begins to let his emotions out at this point. Bobbie is crying now as well.

“Don’t you ever say that you hate yourself!” Bobbie cries. “It shouldn’t matter what anyone else things Lucas, you should love yourself. I don’t hate you. I love you. You are my child. I may not agree with your decisions but I could never hate you. I am sorry for making you feel that way.” She grabs her estranged son and hugs him tightly. “You are my life.”

Lucas lets all of the pain that he’s been feeling since February come out. Bobbie grabs his face and kisses him on the cheek. The camera pans away as the two of them hug and consoling one another.

- Back at the Quartermaine Mansion, Ned tries to talk to his mother. She’s none too happy that he dragged her into the den before she could blast Skye.

Ned: How do you do it, Mother?

Tracy: Do what?

Ned: Be such a damn ice queen.

Tracy: Thanks for the compliment.

Ned: Quit with the snarkiness. How could you have possibly gotten rid of Skye? She’s family!

Tracy: I am not related to anyone named Skye so I couldn’t have possibly fired a family member.

Ned: Answer my damn question. You had no right to get rid of her the way you did.

Tracy: First off, Skye is not even a Quartermaine. She is nothing but common trash that tarnished the family name. She doesn't deserve to be anywhere near this company OR this family. The sooner you'll realize that, the sooner you'll know why I got rid of her like I did.

Ned: Wow, this power trip of yours has really gone to that thick head of yours. Skye may not be a blood Quartermaine, but she will always remain a part of this family, much to your dismay...and if you think you can alienate her anymore than you already have, you are sadly mistaken.

Tracy: (gets up from the sofa) I don’t like your tone. You actually think you can stand there and make idle threats?

Ned: Mother, you had done everything you possible could to snag this job right from under Skye...not to mention me. You claim that you want nothing but the best for me, that you want me to have it all. Is so mother….then stop being such an arrogant, power-hungry bitch who’ll ruin everyone including her son in her never ending quest for power.

Tracy: Bitch? You’re calling me a bitch?

Ned: I didn’t mean it that—

Tracy (pushing Ned): You sit down and up! Let me make this clear to you little boy. I want to make this as clear as crystal. It doesn’t matter how old you are Edward Ashton, you are my child. I will not tolerate you speaking to me in any manner that give me the respect that I deserve. I gave you life and I am entitled to that respect.. Despite the fact you hate what I have done to Skye, you WILL show me some damn respect. I am your mother and though I'll tolerate a lot from you, I will not tolerate that from you.

What I have done has been in the making for a long time. Skye has constantly baited me and baited me and now that I can make her life hell I am going to do so. If you don’t like that Edward Ashton…my child…..then Skye will not be the only person out of ELQ.

Ned: Is that a threat, Mother?

Tracy: Oh, that's not a threat, Ned. That's a promise.

Wow, I just got new lines for Rockland County and my character finally, finally gets to interact with Arden and Dante (the previous interaction was very short). Roger Newcomb (a member of SON), who's the creator of both Scripts & Scruples as well as Rockland County has done a great job with both shows. I was a little hesitant at first about doing this, but as the weeks go by, I become more and more comfortable.

If you've been following the show, Elijah and Dante don't really get along. Now that Dante has a "girlfriend", Elijah's sorta taking a liking to her. Their previous encouter at a bar showed that Dante seemed a little upset that Elijah was talking to Arden. This week he's gonna be even more upset! Tune into Rockland County.

Rockland County airs Wednesdays and Fridays at 9:45am ET on Radio Loger and repeats on Soap Opera Radio (Live 365) throughout the week. Each episode now runs around ten minutes in length.

After each episode airs on Radio Loger, it becomes available to listen to on this website, along with the transcript for that show.

Opening Video

Nikolas could not understand why Carly was so distant with him. He figured taking her out to dinner would take her mind off Courtney’s death and Lucas’ problems. When he called asking her out to dinner, she agreed, but just the tone in her voice had him wondering if everything was okay.

"You've been extremely quiet tonight, is there anything you care to share with me?" he asked across the table from her.

"Why would anything be wrong, Nikolas?" she quipped back, letting the fork move her food on her plate around. "What could possibly be wrong, aside from my son hating me, my former best friend dying, the fact that my brother is an emotional mess and that the people in my life have been keeping secrets from me?"

Eyebrows scrunched up, Nik was curious as to what might have happened between her and Michael. "What's going on with Michael? I thought he was doing alright. And handling AJ’s return to town a lot better than I expected. Did something else happen?"

Dropping the fork on her plate, she crossed her arms, staring at him. "Not only does A.J suddenly want a relationship with my son, but I find out from the school that Michael has been acting out. He’s getting into fights, his grades are slipping and he has no respect for me or his father." The more she stared at Nikolas, the more she wanted to rip into him regarding the conversation he had with Lucky.

"Listen, I'm sure Michael will snap out of all of this. He's just rebelling." He knew that was not the only thing that was upsetting her, so he hoped that she would eventually share that with him as well.

Laughing a little, she could not believe that he considered Michael's change in attitude as mere 'rebelling. "You didn't hear the way he talked to Sonny and me. I think it's gotten far past simple rebelling. I think he's angry about something and is doing whatever to get us to take notice."

"Like I said, Carly, he's rebelling. I'm sure the more you talk to him and get him to focus on what he's supposed to be doing, he'll snap out of it. He's a good kid." He reached for her hand, but was surprised when she snatched it from him. "Is something else bothering you tonight?"

Not being able to stand it any longer, she laid her thoughts on the line, in hopes he will bite. "Have you ever cared about someone so much, that you are full of joy, then the joy is snatched away when you learn that you have been deceived?"

Puzzled, Nikolas leaned closer to her. "I don't know what you mean? What's going on Carly?"

"I'm talking about constantly being lied to and betrayed by people I love and care about. I dealt with trust issues with Sonny time and time again. I thought after going through that ordeal with him, that I wouldn’t have to anymore but I was wrong." When she saw that he wasn't connecting to what she was trying to say, her frustration set in. "You know, what, I'm no longer hungry. I want you to just take me home, okay?"

Sighing a little, he waved for the waiter to bring the check. It was clear to him that something more was bothering Carly. As he paid the waiter, he tried to get a grasp of the comment she made about betrayal and lies. It wasn't until he dropped her off and headed back to Wyndemere did he get the indication of what was bothering Carly.

As he sat in the study, he loosened his tie. That definitely wasn't the date he had in mind.

"Sir Nikolas, I don't mean to bother you, but I want to apologize for my lack of remembering to inform you of something," Alfred said, approaching the door.

"Hmm? What was that, Alfred," he asked closing his eyes for a moment. "What did you forget to tell me?"

"Well, sir, a few days ago, Miss Carly Corinthos had stopped by requesting a visit to you. She claimed that she couldn't locate you and quickly left. I do apologize for not informing you earlier sir, but you've seemed so busy with things, I lost track."

Raising up a little in his chair, Nikolas' interest peaked. "Um, Carly was here? Did she say anything to you?"

Shaking his head, "Not really sir. She just told me to tell you that she was here."

The minute Alfred exited, Nik raced to the phone to call Lucky. He had to tell Lucky that it was Carly that saw Sam at the park that day.

At Lucky’s….The phone rang, however, no one would pick up. Unbeknownst to Nikolas, Lucky and Cameron were long gone to meet Elizabeth. As the phone continued to ring, Jason Morgan looked at it for a brief second and continued to go through the desk by the window. Whatever information accidentally left regarding Sam would be the thing to bring Lucky and Nikolas to their knees.

Opening Video

- GH opens at Jake’s with Kevin and Mac shooting some pool and knockin’ back some beers. Kevin tries to cheer Mac up by purposely losing some games to him, but Mac sees right through it. Kevin learns that Mac is upset because the Mayor is coming down hard on him. Mac changes the subject, instead wanting to know how his friend has been doing for a while. As they continue to move around the table playing 8-ball, Kevin gives subtle details regarding his relationship with Monica, making sure not to mention her name. He tells Mac how she makes his heart skip a beat, but isn’t sure whether she’s ready for a serious relationship.

- Carly, who was still in her silk robe, began to grow nervous over her dinner date with Nikolas. Why should she be nervous? She's been around Nikolas before; but then again, not like this. Not on a date, at least. Carly was fretting so much, that she didn't hear the doorbell ring. Collecting herself, she hurried to the door, praying that it wasn't Nikolas coming early.

"Why are you still in your bathrobe?" a curious Lulu said as she barged into Carly's living room. Plopping on the couch, Lulu stared at Carly. "What's the matter with you?"

"Lulu, I don't have time to talk shop with you, if that's why you came over. I'm trying to get ready for a date," she said, sighing deeply, looking in the mirror at her make-up.

Perking up at the word 'date', Lulu immediately sprang to her feet. "What date? Who are you going on a date with, Carly, spill it, woman!"

Carly felt her cheeks grow warm at the simple thought of Nikolas asking her out on a date. "Nikolas asked me out to dinner tonight, and I'm not even ready yet. I don't have any idea what to wear."

Raising an eyebrow at Carly, Lulu immediately snatched her hand and led her up the stairs. "Don't worry about a thing, Carly, before you know it, Nikolas will forget all about dinner, and focus on what's for dessert."

"Lulu!" Carly gasped, as she practically ran up the stairs to keep up with her cousin.

- The camera pans around to the happenings at the MetroCourt. David is shown talking on his cell phone to an unknown person. While talking, he notices a woman from across the room laying into the maitre d’ for getting her drink wrong. She threatens to have him fired and orders him away. David tells the person on the phone he’ll call back later. David asks the maitre d’ (who’s been reduced to tears) the name of the woman. David grabs a glass of Gamay Beaujolais and walks over to the table.

“A glass of wine for the beautiful lady?”

The woman looks at him with disgust. She purses her lips and responds, “What do you want?”

He smiles at her, intrigued by her icy greeting. “I couldn’t help but notice you from across the room. I figured that I had a 50/50 shot of getting you to talk to me. 50 it would go well, 50 I’d end up in tears like that piss ant.”

“Well so far it’s going well.”

“The name’s David. David Hayward.” He pauses waiting for her to respond.

“Oh I’m sorry, were you waiting for me to give you mine?” she snaps.

“Yes I was,” he says with a keen interest. “I was hoping you’d be open.”

“My name is Tracy Quartermaine. I’m the CEO of ELQ Industries.”

David smirks at Tracy, then reaches out his hand in friendship. “Nice to meet you Tracy. I work over at GH with your husband.”

“My husband? No, my husband works for me.” Tracy plays his little game a bit more. “You work with my brother Alan and his wife Monica.”

“I don’t think I met Monica yet.”

“It’s nothing special, trust me.”

David and Tracy continue to get to know each other a bit more.

- At the Quartermaine estate, Monica did her best to stay out of Alan's way. His moody behavior towards her just wasn't what she needed. What she needed was to be with someone that obviously makes her feel alive; someone that make her weak in the knees every time she was near him; someone that was obviously Kevin.

Making her way downstairs, she made her way into the study and found that Edward was there, looking over some papers. "Hello, Edward."

"Monica," he said in a dry tone, not at all interested that she came into the room. "As large as this house is, it never ceases to amaze me how loud you and Alan are with your constant, mindless bickering."

Groaning in disgust, Monica rolled her eyes. "Can we please not talk about Alan?"

"Fine with me, I don't want to talk about your petty problems to begin with." Standing up, Edward made his way to the door to leave the study. "Before I forget, a delivery person brought a package for you. It's over there on the desk."

Going to the desk, Monica picked up the small package, eyeing it, curious as to what it could be. "Edward, did the delivery person say who sent it?"

Grunting in annoyance, Edward shrugged. "How should I know who it's from? The delivery man gave it to me, I signed for it, and he left. You'll have to see for yourself who it's from. Do I look like your personal assistant? Get your own damn mail. Now if you'll excuse me, Monica, I have some pressing matters to attend to."

Looking over the package again, she slowly opened it. Inside was a puzzle piece that showed her face and a note. Not sure of what was going on; she carefully read the bold writing.

Monica, you truly are a 'piece' of work.

Monica wasn't sure if this was some little prank or if the note was to be some form of a threat; all she did know was that it had her greatly concerned.

It was the last night of Monica and Alan’s getaway and Monica still hadn’t been able to bring herself to end things with Alan. She knew in her heart that she had to tell him, and tell him tonight. She was ready to move on with her life with Kevin. She walks absently around in the sitting room, deep in thought as to what she is going to say. In the bathroom, she can hear Alan whistling as he shaved. The two of them had spent earlier making love….that's the least Monica could do, especially since she was about to end things with him.

When he finished he walked into the sitting room and took Monica in his arms. He tells her again how much he loves her. He kisses her neck and caresses her hand. He is so happy that they came on this trip to rediscover their love for each other. He mentions that being close to her today, for the first time in months, had made him realize how much the intimacy was missing from their marriage. Monica begins to squirm as he continues to talk about the 'progress' they've made. He even has a gift for her. Monica wrenches herself free from his grasp and tells him to stop. That she can’t take this anymore.

Puzzled, Alan looks at her. He asks her what is on her mind Monica draws in a deep breath and avoids looking into his eyes. Finally, she focuses on the picture on the wall right above his right shoulder. “Alan, I want to…I just…I think we should go ahead with the divorce. I can’t keep living a lie anymore.”

Alan backs away from her. “What are you talking about, living a lie? You want to go ahead with the divorce? I thought you wanted to repair our marriage Monica. That’s what this trip was for. That's why we've been in therapy! What is going on here?” Alan stares at her and watches her expression. Everything that has been suspicious about Monica's actions these past few months begin to fall into place. Alan demands to know if this has anything to do with her resigning her position as Chief Cardiologist.

Monica sinks into a chair and folds her hands in her lap. She thinks back to when she first started chatting online with Kevin. How connected she felt with him and how she still feels with him. The feeling she gets when he makes love to him. Slowly, she starts to tell Alan about how when times were tough between the two of them she met someone online and that they became confidants. Then they decided to meet as he was coming to Port Charles. Alan interrupts, “You met him Monica? You confided in this man. You opened your heart to this man, all the while I thought we were doing good? Tell me, do I know this person?”

After a long silence, she nods. “Yes Alan you do. You know him quite well."

"Well don't just sit there Monica, share with the class what his name is?"

"Don't you patronize me Alan. That's part of the reason why this isn't working anymore! You don't treat me with respect."

"Damn it! Tell me his name!"

Monica's anxiety turns to anger. "It's Kevin….Kevin Collins.”

“You are having an affair with Kevin Collins!” Alan’s face turned red with rage as he ranted. “How long has this been going on Monica, this carrying on behind my back? How long?” Monica whispered that she had been seeing Kevin for months. “Oh wonderful, you must have loved it when I hired him on at the hospital again." Alan's surprise and pain begin to grow as he realizes what a fool he's been these past few months. "Tell me Monica, did the two of you have sex at the hospital? Here in this hotel? At my house…..IN OUR BED?” Alan angrily stormed around the room and picked up a glass, and threw it against the wall. "And don't you even bring up that nonsense about it being your house."

“Well it is my house! Look Alan, just stop it. Stop it! I mean….it just happened! We were having problems…” Monica’s voice trailed off.

Alan turned around and faced her, a vein throbbing in his neck he was so angry. "It just happened? It just happened? No Monica, flash floods just happen. Affairs, months long, secret, hidden affairs are done voluntarily."

He laughed maliciously, saying it was just like her to blame him when she was the one that had the affair. He had tried so hard to please her and the whole time she was sleeping with Kevin. He demanded to know who else knew. He realized that David Hayward had to know since she recommended him for her old job. "Let me guess….those packages you were receiving…..David must have found out and blackmailed you into resigning as Chief of Staff."

She also told him that Lucy knew. “Well tell me Monica, tell me who didn't know? Who didn't know that you were breaking your marriage vows while I sat at home like an idiot?!”

Monica shot to her feet and yelled back that he had been constantly ignoring her and she needed attention. Kevin was there for her. He gave her that attention. He made her feel like a beautiful, sexy woman whereas Alan made her feel unwanted.

"You stand there with your self-righteous indignation and accuse me of breaking your heart. We haven't been happy for years. I may have had an affair, but you are NOT innocent in this. You've had your fair share of affairs too Alan, so don't you try to act like I'm the evil one." Monica walks over towards the closet. "I did love you Alan. I loved you very much, but I don't love you anymore."

Alan yelled that he loved her every day of his life. “Get out Monica. I need to be by myself. Get out and go to your lover!” Monica’s eyes were blurred with tears as she grabbed her purse and her coat and walked through the door. After she shut the door, she could hear Alan yell an angry yell. Monica placed her head on the door as the tears streamed down her face. She's tempted to go back inside, but realizes that doing so will only put them back in the same cycle they've been in. Monica takes a deep breath, regaining her composure, walking away and not looking back.

Back inside, Alan sat on the edge of the bed and tried to keep from letting the pain overcome him.

Maybe it could be the fact that I have a mild hangover, but I've been thinking about my father alot today. He and I don't have a great relationship and haven't had one for years. A friend of mine heard a song called "Confessions of a Broken Heart" by Lindsay Lohan and sent it to me. I could totally connect with the words. Anyways, I thought I'd post the lyrics to the song (which were edited to reflect me being the son)

Confessions of a Broken Heart
I wait for the postman to bring me a letter
I wait for the good Lord to make me feel better
And I carry the weight of the world on my shoulders
A family in crisis that only grows older...

Why’d you have to go?
Why’d you have to go?
Why’d you have to go?

Son to father, Son to father
I am broken, but I am hoping
Son to father, Son to father
I am crying, a part of me is dying and
These are, these are
The confessions of a broken heart

I wear all your old clothes your polo sweater
I dream of another you the one who would never (never)
Leave me alone to pick up the pieces
A daddy to hold me, that’s what I needed

(So) why’d you have to go?
Why’d you have to go?
Why’d you have to go?

Son to father, Son to father
I don’t know you, but I still want to
Son to father, Son to father
Tell me the truth, did u ever love me?
Cause these are, these are
The confessions of a broken heart

I love you
I loved you
I love you
I........
I loved you!

Son to father, Son to father
I don’t know you, but I still want to
Son to father, Son to father
Tell me the truth...
Did you ever love me?
Did you ever love me?!!
These are....
The confessions of a broken heart

Ohh...yeah

I wait for the postman...to bring a me a letter

I'm sure there are many people who can relate to this song on many levels. Sure my father isn't in prison/jail, but he's still not here with me, and though I choose not to have a close personal relationship with him, I still wish things could be different. He chose his then girlfriend (now wife) and her children over me many times when I lived with him, he has no one to blame for alienating me but himself. He wasn't the same father who I knew growing up, and I blame him for that. He missed a lot becauses of his stupidity. My first touchdown in high school, my first drama production, my sophmore formal, junior and senior prom, and my graduation (though he was invited, but I didn't want him to bring his wife, he refused to come w/o her so I told him that's his loss.) and so many other things. So I feel bad about not reaching out more? Not really. I don't know him anymore. I am tired of reaching out and getting nothing in return. Maybe I should record my own version of this with my band and send my dad a copy.

Endgame- Episode 5
Saturday, March 24, 2007

Almost at the hospital, Noah drove on and parked the car. Before letting Bobbie out of the car, he tried to rationalize with her the situation. He explained what he could for her and he asked her if she would be okay to see Lucas without confessing to him she was the reason Brandon was hurt.

Bobbie wanted to turn herself in, but Noah convinced her it was best to let things ride out till it was absolutely necessary to come forward. He was protecting her and he hoped she would come to realize this.

At the hospital, the friends closest to Brandon continued to wait for word about their injured friend. A few moments later, though it seemed like a lifetime for Lucas, Patrick emerges from the room with Robin and David to give them an update on Brandon’s condition.

“I was going over the paperwork and noticed that no one identified themselves as Brandon's next of kin. Why is that," Patrick asks looking at the room full of worried people. "There has to be someone we can call right?"

"Ummm, no," Lucas says wiping a tear from his face. "I am the closest thing Brandon has to family. His parents died when he was a kid. The only other family member I could think of was his sister, but she died a few years ago." Lucas walks over to Patrick running his hands through his hair. "Look, I know all about hospital procedure and that you're not able to share this information with me, but I really need to know. I am his family. Please Patrick."

Patrick gives a look to Robin and David, who give him the nod of approval. "Brandon’s stabilized for now. But there isn’t much we can do for him that hasn’t already been done. It’s up to Brandon now.”

"What's wrong with him?" Carly asks. "I know that you're keeping something from us. Don't make things any harder than they already are."

"I'll clear some things up for you," says David. "Brandon went into severe cardiac arrest on his way over to the hospital. During the surgery to repair some of his internal injuries, Brandon again when into cardiac arrest and during the peri-period, it was very touch and go." David gets ready to continue, but Robin cuts him off.

"But we were able to stabilize him due to the combination of drugs that Brandon was on, as well as the immense talent of Dr. Hayward here." Robin then turns things over to Patrick.

Lucas takes a deep breath before hugging his sister. "So everything's alright now right? I mean he's ok?"

"Brandon," Patrick begins to say, "Suffered severe damage to his head during the accident." Patrick watches as Lucas begins to freak out. "Before you get worked up, let me finish. There was severe cranial swelling that was putting pressure on his brain. He had an intracranial hemorrhage that put pressure on his brain, so we relieved the pressure by withdrawing some of the blood so I could go in and repair the damage."

“May I sit with him?” a distraught Lucas asks.

“No, at least not yet. Give us time to look him over and to reconnect the machines. Someone will let you know when you can see him. Perhaps someone would like to take you for something to eat in the cafeteria or something and come back a little later. We’ll know more about his condition and we can allow visitors.”

Suddenly, Patrick was paged and he took his pager out of his coat pocket. He walked over to the phone and called in the page. While on the phone, he looked over in Carly's direction with a concerned look on his face.

“You better come with me, Carly," Patrick says while grabbing her arm. "Sonny and Courtney were just brought into the ER. There's been an explosion.”

Carly is hesitant to leave her brother behind, but Lulu tells her to go. Reluctantly, Carly follows Patrick to go find Sonny & Courtney.

Opening Video

"What are you doing here?" he asked, looking A.J. up and down. "If you're looking for my mom, she's not here." He automatically tried to close the door, but A.J. blocked him from doing so.

"Actually, I came to see you. I know when I came back, you were not too pleased. I just wanted to get the opportunity to explain all that happened." It was clear that he was taking a very big chance in coming to him, however, it was a chance he was more than willing to take.

"What makes you think that I would want to talk to you? Why would I listen to anything you had to explain to me?" he challenged, stepping back a little.

"Do you mind if I come in, Michael? It is cold outside," he chuckled, trying in vein to break the ice. When he saw Michael stepping away from the door, he approached the couch. "I imagine that when your mother told you that I stopped by to see you, you were more determined than ever to keep me at a distance."

Looking at him, not sure as to what he was talking about, Michael pounced on the statement. "What are you talking about? When were you here?"

Realizing that Carly never told him about the attempted visit, A.J. smiled a little. "I should have known she wouldn't tell you that I stopped by a few weeks ago. I can't say that I blame her; she was dead set on me even making the request to spend time with you."

Michael suddenly remembered that week. "So, it was you that was at the door? When I asked her about it, she said it was no one I should be concerned about."

"Look, I know Carly had every right to block me from seeing you, but, you're older now, and I explained to her that it was your choice in whether you wanted me to approach you." Folding his hands, he hoped that Michael would honor his request to talk to him. "If you want me to leave, I can do so. I just came here to see if I could talk to you a little; to explain everything."

Glancing at the couch, Michael realized that his mom could return at any given moment. "You know what, we’ve been over this before AJ and quite frankly I don’t want to go over it again. Unfortunately, my mom is like gonna be home soon, so you might wanna go. Plus, well," he laughed sarcastically, "she grounded me until further notice."

Automatically curious, A.J. asked, "What did you do to get yourself grounded?"

"My ‘poor behavior’ and getting into trouble at school. Mom and dad both teamed up on me and said that I was grounded until my attitude and my studies improved."

His mind quickly thought of a sure-fire way to not only get to spend time with Michael, but also pull the wool over both Carly and Sonny's eyes. "I'll tell you what. If I can arrange for you to have the chance to talk to me, as well as help get your grades up, would you be up for it?"

A devious smile began to form on Michael’s lips. He was more than interested in what A.J. was planning to do. "How are you possibly going to manage to do that? I mean, there is no way my folks are letting me out of the house when school is out."

Heading for the door, A.J simply waved a hand casually. His eyes suddenly glanced at the letter from school. Picking it up, he quickly read it. Folding it up, he slid it into his pocket. "Don't worry about anything, okay? If you still want to talk with me, then I'll make the arrangements. If you change your mind, all you have to say so."

Closing the door after him, Michael was more than interested in seeing what A.J was up to.

Skye walk into the den at the Quartermaine Mansion and sees Luke staring at a bottle of liquor. Skye automatically assumes that Luke has been drinking. “Starting early I see…”

"Actually Blaze, I haven’t had a single swallow,” Luke shoots back.

“My mistake” says Skye.

“Yeah, your mistake…..so how was your date with our favorite mobster?”

“It was amazing. We had such a wonderful time. We ate, we danced, and that was it,” Skye smiles as she proceeds to sit down.

“Anything you’d care to share with me?” he asks. “No, not really,” she replies.

Luke lays his arm on a pillow, “I really don’t know what you see in that guy. I mean, he’s nothing like me.”

“He’s not you…exactly. Lorenzo loves me and wants to be with me,” says Skye as she looks at Luke. “I do love you Blaze. You know that.”

Skye rolls her eyes. “Yes Luke, I know. But you aren’t in love with me. I won’t ever come first with you. I’ll always be placed behind your next adventure or quest or whatever it is that forces you to leave town so often. I need someone will put me first, who will be around for me when I need him. I need stability Luke, and you can’t give me that.”

“I can give you a lot of things” says Luke as he edges towards Skye.

“But you can’t give me stability,” she says as she gets up. “And besides, you’re married to Tracy. I asked you multiple times to choose me over her and you couldn’t. You like the sick little games that you and she play. You get off on it. You love Tracy more than you think Luke.”

“I love you,” Luke says as he stands up.

“No you don’t. You love the idea of me. I’ll never be enough for you. I don’t get into mess that’ll send you half way around the world to save me. I don’t scheme to get you pay attention to me. My life is quite boring based on your standards Luke.”

Luke walks closer to Skye as she puts more distance between them. “Come on Blaze. Look at us. We’re good together. We have fun. And you know I’ll always be there for you when you need.”

Skye tells Luke, “But I need more. What’s fun? I can’t live my life just having “fun”. You’re not good for me. I don’t want to be tempted to drink every time you take off. I don’t want to have to deal with being lonely when you leave because things are getting too intense here. I don’t want to use the energy that I have to fight with you, to beg for you to come home.”

“So you think Lorenzo will provide you with that stability?” Luke says with a condescending tone. “He risks the chance of getting shot every time he leaves his house! He could be sent to jail! You think that guy will give you stability? If you do you’re more blinded by his appeal that you should.”

Skye walks over near the door leading and looks out the window. “You’re right. Lorenzo does lead a dangerous life. But he’s here. And he leads his dangerous life here…not in Europe. Not in the Markham Islands, not in Greece, or Australia or anywhere else that you go to when you’re not here. Lorenzo has promised to be me first and not put the lives of myself or anyone else associated with me in danger.” Skye becomes more agitated as Luke continues to try and win a futile battle. “And quite frankly I don’t feel like discussing this with you anymore.”

“You’re afraid. You’re afraid to be with me. I can’t change who I am Skye. I’m not the family kind of guy. That was Laura’s project. Not mine. I’m not ‘Mr. Romantic’”. Luke’s emotions begin to get the best of him. He tries to contain it but he becomes more and more angry the more he tries to hold it in. “I’m not the guy who’ll shower you with roses and candy and all that jazz. I am who I am. You should accept me for who I am and not who you want me to be. I can’t be who you want me to be. My love should be enough for you. My love should be enough for you.”

Skye goes to leave but Luke grabs her arm and kisses her. “Look into my eyes and tell me that you felt something. Can you really look me in the face and tell me that my kiss meant nothing to you? Can you tell me what we had meant nothing?” says Luke. Skye pauses, looks at Luke and grabs his face.

“What we had….is in the past. It may have meant something to me Luke. In another time, but we are done. I cannot allow myself to fall for you again. I will not set myself up to be disappointed once more when you choose other things over me. Go to your wife Luke. Tell her how much you love her. I know the only reason why you don’t show Tracy how you feel is because you think that there is some hope for us but there isn’t. I love Lorenzo. I want to be with Lorenzo.”

Skye then kisses Luke on the cheek and wishes him well. Luke walks away in deep thought, obviously affected by what Skye said to him. He picks up the bottle of liquor on the table and takes a swig. Luke begins to reminisce about the good times they had. A tear slowly falls down his cheek as he takes a deep breath. Luke leaves shortly after. Skye watches Luke leave from her the window in her room and takes out a picture of them. She also begins to reminisce about their times together, especially the times when she was cast aside.

“I know I’ve made the right decision. Someday you will understand Luke. You’ll understand.” Skye then holds the photo of her and Luke close to her heart and cries as GH fades to black.

Based on the title you'd think it was about my ex, but no. I injured myself while working out. I hit my lower back on one of the weights that was behind me as I was doing curls. Ugh, I'm so clumsy sometimes.

Being single kicks ass! It's fun not being tied down, but still keeping the door open for a serious relationship. I'll be able to go out like I used to come January. Thank god for vacations smile.gif .

Rockland County is really picking up people. The relationship between Dante & Elijah is being explored more seeing as how Elijah has taken a liking to Dante's girlfriend Arden. Could Ashley be an ally for Elijah? I hope so. He needs a friend.

Endgame- Episode 10

Opening Video

Steven was enjoying his dinner date with Robin; how could he not? She was a beautiful woman and she obviously enjoyed talking to him as much as he did her. He smiled at her while pouring another glass of wine.

"I'm glad that you accepted my offer for dinner. I love my grandmother dearly, and love her home cooking, but there are some days where I just want to eat in a nice restaurant," he said, then added, "with wonderful company."

Chuckling a little, Robin liked the dinner as well. "I find you to be wonderful company too, so thank you very much in inviting me to have dinner. I don't think I would have been up for trying to cook something."

The two of them laughed a little. As they continued with their banter, neither were aware that Sarah and Patrick entered the restaurant.

"When you said you wanted me to join you for dinner, I didn't think it would be here. This is a little upscale you know?" Patrick said, looking around the newest restaurant to acquire space in the MetroCourt.

Brushing his shoulder lightly with her hand, she smiled at him. "Trust me, you'll love this place," she teased. She knew that once he locked eyes on his girlfriend with her brother, his guard would be down and she could be there to 'comfort' him.

The hostess led the two of them to their table, which wasn't that far from Steven and Robin. Sarah purposely waited for Patrick to sit down, knowing that she could block his view for a bit.

Leaning over the table, Patrick asked her, "Have you eaten here before, Sarah?" He quickly glanced at the menu and closed it shut quickly. "You haven't eaten here, before, have you?"

Raising an eyebrow at him, Sarah opened his menu again. "Patrick, order what you think you'll like. It's my treat after all. I know you’re into the ‘man’ paying everything, but I’m a modern woman. I go after what I want. And right now I want to pay for dinner."

Over at the table that Steven and Robin were dining, they were completely immersed in deep conversation. Robin didn't know what it was about Steven, but she was very intrigued by him; and just couldn't shake him out of her thoughts. Despite missing Patrick, which she truly did, she just couldn't help feeling drawn to her close friend's brother.

In the middle of their conversation, Steven's eyes scanned on a familiar face. A smile crept upon his lips as he saw Patrick a few tables away from them. He only had one guess as to whom he was dining with…And that was Sarah. Quickly diverting his eyes, to make sure Robin didn't catch on that he was checking out something, he touched Robin's hand briefly.

"Are you having a good time, Robin?" he asked, sipping some more wine.

Feeling herself get tingly from the light touch of his skin, she blushed a little. "Yes, I am having a wonderful time." Standing up, she excused herself to head to the ladies room. Robin, what are you doing? She cursed herself as she quickly retreated.

Sarah gave her order to the server, and stood up from the table. "Patrick, I'll be right back, I'm going to freshen up a bit. Whem I come back, I want to know what makes Patrick Drake tick,' she teased. This date is definitely going the way I want it, now let's add some fireworks, she thought as she entered the ladies room.

Robin was coming out of the stall to wash her hands when she came face-to-face with Sarah. "Well, what a small world. Hello, Sarah," she said, with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. "I didn't think you'd be here dining...alone."

"Actually, I'm not dining alone. I'm here with a friend,” Sarah remarks while teasing her long blonde hair. “I'm sure you are doing the same, right?" She was going to love seeing the look on Robin's face when she saw that she was with her Dr. Hotness.

"As a matter of fact, I am," she replied, getting ready to head out the door. All she wanted to do was smack her senseless. She adored Elizabeth so much, but her sister was nothing but troublemaking bitch.

Sarah quickly followed behind her. As the women headed for their respective tables, the ‘fireworks’ were about to begin. Patrick stood up at the same time as Steven did. Patrick's eyes immediately locked on Robin as she went to her table, just as Steven's eyes locked on Sarah.

"I hope you are having a wonderful dinner," Patrick said, quickly approaching their table, glaring at Robin. "I thought you said you had plans with Lainey. Did those plans fall flat?"

Glaring at him, Robin snapped back, not caring of the volume in her voice. "I thought you were going to take in a game tonight, did your plans fall flat, as well?" Eyeing Sarah, who pretended to act surprised, she continued talking. "Oh, let me guess, you decided to hang with your 'new buddy'."

Holding up his hands, Steven tried to break up the spat. "Why don't we just arrange to all sit together, I'm sure there won't be a problem in doing that?" He could not help but be pleased with the outcome of what was going on. Robin's spark alone was appealing to him.

Neither Patrick nor Robin paid much attention to the offer that Steven made. Robin got in her jabs, while Patrick fired back at her. Sarah and Steven smiled at each other; both pleased that each of their dates were beginning to be on the outs with one another.

Maurice Speaks Out!!
Written by Brittany Logan

Fans of ABC’s “General Hospital” will be missing some of their favorite characters this fall. One of them is the sexy mobster himself, Sonny Corinthos. In an interview conducted a few days ago, we learned that the writing team has not included Maurice’s character Sonny in a major role during the first story arc “Secrets and Lies”. We called Maurice two days ago to get his opinion on his recent backburnering.

Brittany Logan: Hi Maurice how are you?

Maurice Bernard: I’m doing well.

BL: You know why we’re calling. We recently found out that you will not be included in the storylines this fall during “Secrets and Lies”. How do you feel about that?

MB: Well obviously I’m a little disappointed. I would have loved to have been a major part of this new venture, but I understand that it’s hard for the writers to include everyone. It’s not only me who won’t be a major part of the storylines. There’s also Ingo Rademacher, Tony Geary (who’ll be on vacation for a few weeks during the arc), M’Fundo Morrison, John J. York, Alicia Willis, Natalia Livingston and Kent King who won’t be a major part of the arcs. I’m just one of many.

BL: But that has to affect you in some way right? You’ve been on the front-burner for almost 7 years now.

MB: As I said before, I understand. There are people who have rarely had any airtime over the past few years getting major stories. I feel great. The burden of carrying a show on the frontburner is huge. Let me make one thing clear, Sonny WILL be seen this fall, just not in a leading capacity. I will be supporting other stories. As a matter of fact I think Sonny and the kids will be taking a vacation for a while this fall.

BL: That will give you time to spend with your family.

MB: Correct.

BL: Do you know whether you will be included in a major way during the second arc?

MB: Honestly I don’t know. We’ve been told that the order of the story arcs is being changed so I may or may not have one. I do know that Laura Wright [Carly] and I will be a part of a mini-arc that is supposed to air in January or February (I believe). Our schedule is not like Port Charles where they taped 6 months worth of shows. We are still on the same taping schedule so changes can be made at any time.

BL: So there are no hard feelings?

MB: Not at all. To be quite honest, I think the fans will be happy that Sonny will be off-screen for a while. They need a break. (Laughing) I know I do.

Coming up Sunday, Jane Elliot & Robin Christopher sit down to tell us about their upcoming storylines and their recent upgrade to leading status.

Opening Video

Liz and Nik face off at Wyndemere after his accusation that Liz is having an affair with Jason. Liz still can’t believe that Nik has called her over to ask her this.

Liz: Are you serious? Do you hear what you’re asking me?

Nik: Liz, don’t get upset. I just need to know what is actually going on between you and Jason.

Liz: Absolutely nothing is going on between Jason and me. And even if there was, who the hell are to question me about it?

Nik: I was just –

Liz: When you were running around with Courtney behind Emily’s back did I dare ask you if you were cheating on her? No. Because I had more faith in you than that Nikolas.

We’re friends. Jason has been through a lot; we’ve all been through a lot. You standing there accusing me of adultery is just crazy.

Nik: Jason’s been through a lot? Are you serious? Jason’s life is dangerous, Liz. You of all people should know the life that Jason chose for himself. He chose a life of danger. The only person, who needs you more than Jason, is your husband.

Liz: But it wasn’t Jason’s “danger” that got Sam killed was it? It was your psychotic grandmother. I’m not going to stand here listening to you tell me who I need to help and care for. I already got a guilt trip in for form of grandmother. I’m not going to feel guilty for being there for my friend!

Liz turns to walk away but Nikolas grabs her arm. “Liz, don’t walk away. We seriously need to talk about this. I care about you but I also care about my brother,” says Nikolas as Liz pulls her arm away. She grabs her purse and walks through the door. Nikolas yells, “Your pushing him away is making things worse for him. He needs you by his side, Liz! He needs you!”

At ELQ, Tracy goes to Edward’s office. She goes to open the door but stops when she overhears Edward talking. “No one can know,” he says. “My taking over was to prove that I am still the man that I used to be. But let me be clear, I have no intention of leaving the company. I intend to oversee the board was Chairman, and will run the company with my newly selected CEO, provided I have enough votes from the board.”

“Who have you decided on?” the voice asks.

“Tracy, I haven’t decided yet. I’m just mulling things over for right now. I don’t intend on making an announcement until everything is in place. I am considering selecting my granddaughter,” Edward responds.

“Emily? Isn’t she a doctor? She has no business experience. She would not be a great choice to…”

“No, no, no. Emily has no interest in getting involved with ELQ. Besides, she’s decided to take down roots in Hawaii. We keep in contact though. The person I had in mind was Skye.”

“Hmmm….,” the voice says. “That doesn’t seem like a bad idea. Tracy would have a problem with that though.”

“What Tracy doesn’t know won’t hurt her,” Edward devilishly replies. “Tracy will never run ELQ again. It’s because of her and Ned that we have Luke running around as the VP of Foreign Affairs.”

“I’ve heard he has a lot of those.”

“Shut up! I don’t have time to continue this discussion. Now, what I need you to do is…” Edward’s voice trails off. Tracy smirks, proud that she has accidentally come into this powerful knowledge. Tracy then steps into the elevator. As she’s going back up to her office she decides that she will need to set up a major plan to obtain not only more power in ELQ, but also remove the company of some unnecessary people; one of them being Skye.

Back at General Hospital, Jamie looks at the photos she took of Patrick on her cell phone.
Jamie slips into the empty office, closing the door behind her. Taking a memo pad from the desk, she jots down a note for Patrick to meet “Robin” immediately in the locker room. Going back to the door, she peeks out to see that Patrick is no where in sight. She heads towards the main station, quickly placing the note on top of some files that are there. Jamie then makes her way to the locker room.

Alexis, who is at work, is looking over some case files when her telephone rings. Picking it up, she is told that someone has requested to see her and that it is very important that they do it now. Alexis is not in the mood for games and asks who the person is. Suddenly her door bursts open. Alexis is face to face with Helena. Helena closes the door behind her and smiles at Alexis, pleased that she has stunned her.

“What are you doing here?” Alexis asks. “You have some nerve coming to my job, demanding my time, showing your face.”

Helena just smiles. “Oh, Alexis dear, don’t be so nasty. I simply wanted to see how you were doing.”

“I don’t believe that for a second. You don’t care about anyone but yourself. You don’t care about how I’m doing. You put me through hell. You put…you put Sam through hell, and because of you, Sam is ……” Alexis’ sentence trails off.

“Gone?” says Helena, finishing her sentence. “I wouldn’t place all the blame on my shoulders, dear. You too are to blame for the poor demise of Samantha. My granddaughter had much potential but alas, it was ruined because you didn’t want her.”

“Get out!” screams Alexis.

“Oh, you want to blame others for her death, but you fail to see that you are to blame. You and no one else. But don’t worry. Once Kristina and Molly become old enough, I’ll explain to them what a whore you were and how you murdered their big sister. Then, I shall take them under my wing and make sure you never do any harm to them.” Helena continues to taunt Alexis.

“I’m going to have you arrested for murder you sick bitch.” Alexis picks up the phone to bring police into her office.

“Poor, pathetic Alexis,” Helena says as she prepares to make a fast exit. “I’ll leave you to wallow in your guilt, but be assured that I will be back.” Once Helena leaves Alexis’ office, she uses her cell phone to call the hospital. She is pleased to hear that the unknown patient is doing well. Helena arranges another meeting time.

Patrick is on his way to the admission desk to pick up some charts. Once there, he notices the note for him to meet Robin in her locker room. Smirking to himself, he heads that way. When he opens the door, steam surrounds his body. He notices a woman, Robin, in the shower. Patrick locks the locker room door, and then strips and puts on a robe. He slowly makes his way to the shower. He opens his robe, pulls open the shower door and says “I’m here...” The woman in the shower screams!

Jamie slaps Patrick for walking in on her naked.

Luke plans a surprise for Tracy.

Port Charles begins with Luke at General Hospital. Luke angrily pushes open the door to the Doctor’s locker room and barks at Patrick, demanding to know where Noah is. Surprised, Robin told Luke that Noah was in surgery. Luke took off, in search of Noah.

Down the hall, Luke saw Noah walk out of an operating room and Luke yelled for him. Noah looked up and started to walk towards him. When he reached Luke, he told him he had to be quiet as this was a hospital. Luke replied that he didn’t give a damn, that they needed to talk about Bobbie or Noah was going to go back into that operating room, and not as the surgeon. Seeing the look on Luke’s face, Noah led Luke into a small office and closed the door. “What do you want to know about my wife?” Luke responds with a sharp right hand to Noah's jaw.

Maxie looked Carly over and rolled her eyes. Maxie drawled, “Carly, there is nothing going on between me and Lucas. I just feel bad for him, you know? He just lost someone he loves.”

“I am fully aware of that Maxie and I would appreciate it if you keep your distance from him.” Carly throws at her, narrowing her eyes as she watches this girl that she can’t trust. Carly focus on Maxie breaks when Lulu enters the diner.

Lulu walks over and senses the hostility in the air and asks if she can help out. Carly updates Lulu on what she saw. Lulu tells Carly to go ahead and handle what she has to take care of; she (Lulu) can handle this. Carly thanks Lulu and heads to Sonny's to see how he's doing since his release from GH. When Carly leaves, Maxie walks away, but Lulu blocks her.

Elsewhere in General Hospital, Lainey is in her office doing paperwork for her cases when a knock at the door startles her. She gives permission for the guest to enter and is surprised to see Jason standing there.

Lainey leans back in her chair and tosses her pen on her desk. "Mr. Morgan, how nice it is to see you again. Do you need something?"

Jason slowly walks over to her desk and gives her his patented 'I want to ask you something but not sure how to say it' stare. "I uh….I wanted to know if there was anything you could share with me about Sam's condition."

"Jason you know I can't say anything about that. You're not listed as her next of kin."

Jason tenses up. "Don't you think I know that?! I just want to know why she can't remember me." Jason pauses, thinking about the problems his family went through with him when he couldn't remember them. "I know Sam doesn't have the same condition as I do. It should be easy to trigger her memory right?"

Lainey gets up from behind her desk and walks over to Jason. "I'm going to give you this piece of advice. Don't rush Sam. When the time comes, she'll get her memory back . I'm working very hard to help her remember the life that she had. But she may not remember. That's something you're just gonna have to accept. " She reaches into her pocketbook and takes out a card. "Here, this is a friend of mine who can help you out. Dr. Collins is a very good psychologist."

"Yeah I know," Jason says turning around. "Thanks….for whatever." Jason leaves the office.

The camera cuts to Robin's apartment, as Anna and Robin are spending some time together. Anna fills Robin in on what happened at the MetroCourt. Robin thinks that Anna may have been jealous when she saw Skye with Jax. Anna remarks that she doesn't get jealous, she makes people jealous, however there is a first time for everything. Robin asks if Lorenzo's been sniffing around lately; Anna denies he has. Robin thinks it's a good idea of they stay far away from each other. Robin looks down and realizes that she's just eaten the entire gallon of vanilla mint chip ice cream by herself! She apologizes to her mother, assuming that she really must have been hungry. Anna tells Robin that she had a strange dream the other night about fish. Robin drops her bowl into the sink at Anna's silly dream. Anna remarks that maybe…just maybe….there's going to a little Robin running around soon.

Maxie sighed and told Lulu that she hardly ever sees Lucas and that she should mind her own business. Inwardly, Maxie was scared, she didn’t want or need Lulu or Carly digging into that night and finding out about her involvement in Brandon’s death. She had to put up a brave face, especially around these two nosey bitches. She pushes Lulu out of the way, making sure she her personal space isn't being invaded by the screaming she-banshee that is Lulu. Lulu continued to run off at the mouth, but Maxie wasn’t listening, she had to get out of there. She interrupted Lulu, “So, yeah Lulu, whatever. I’m leaving.”

Lulu grabbed Maxie’s arm, “Stay away from Lucas. Or you will have to deal with me.”

Luke pushes Noah into the chair as Noah clutches his jaw. "What in the hell was that for!" Noah yells out. "What is your damn problem?!"

Luke cut him off and yelled, “Barbara Jean called me today and guess what we talked about?"

Noah answers sharply, "How should I know what you talked about?"

"She told me everything Noah, everything!" Luke grabs his right hand, the pain beginning to set in.
"How the hell could you let my sister suffer like this. Jesus Noah, I know all about that night and guess what Einstein, Mac Scorpio is about a step away from arresting her for murder. Why didn’t you come to me in the first place? I'm her brother! I could have helped!"

Noah stood there, calm and collected which just infuriated Luke more. He told Luke that he took matters in his own hands and was dealing with it. He did what he had to do to protect Bobbie. He covered up everything and even married her so they couldn't be forced to testify against one another."

“How stupid are you? Did you completely forget that I have more experience dealing with these things than you do?" Luke finds it harder and harder to control his anger. "After she called me, I went over to her house to find my sister staring at a bottle of vodka! She is not dealing with this at all. She will never stand up to the scrutiny of the police!” Luke shouted, his arms flying in every direction. “I don’t know how Mac did it because I always thought that Robert was the brains in the Scorpio family, but it sounds like Mac has something on her. You should have come to me and I would have taken care of it.”

“Luke, she is my wife and I am taking care of it”

“Her being your wife means nothing! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! You left Bobbie in the 80's, come back a few years ago and all of a sudden you think you can handle her life? I've been protecting Barbara Jean since I was young kid. I know what's best for her, you don't. You've done a piss poor job of 'taking care' of things! " Luke started to pace around the room, screaming at Noah at every turn, “Carly and Lucas will hate her for this and Patrick will hate you. This secret is going to come out. If you had come to me in the first place, this would have been dealt with and my sister wouldn’t be close to an alcoholic binge. We are going to do this my way and my way only! So deal with that!” Luke opened the door and slammed it shut.

In this special ICU episode, you will see today's events play out as to how Lucas sees them. You will see and hear his thoughts, opinions, basically how he truly feels about everyone coming to pay their respects for Brandon by Lucas' side, and his true feelings about what he really believes about how Brandon's death was entirely his fault. The thoughts of Lucas appear in italics.

Port Charles begins with Lucas putting on his best suit. "So, today's the day...the day where we can finally put Brandon to rest," he says to himself. "I never thought this day would ever come. I have been putting it off week in and week out, making up phony excuses as to why I wanted to avoid the issue, but I cannot escape the truth anymore."

Lucas walks over to his nightstand picks up the picture of him and Brandon from their trip to Hawaii last year. "You're gone my love. And there's no way I can ever bring you back." Lucas begins to cry as he flashes back to that fateful night where Brandon was hit by a car. "I hope that one day, Brandon, you can forgive me for the terrible mistake I made....and maybe one day, I can forgive myself."

Just then, Carly enters the room. Lucas wipes the tears from his face and starts to get dressed again. Carly speaks to Lucas, but we are unable to hear her word. Lucas' inner thoughts can be heard while she's speaking to him.

Carly has been so supportive through this difficult time. I never knew what it was truly like having a sister to connect with. It feels good knowing I can have a family member to depend on. Heh, they may say some awful things about her, but Carly does love her family...no question about that. I was more stunned than relieved when I came out to her. She's accepted me for who I am, with no questions asked, never judging me for being the way I am. I've watched as she's gone from home wrecker to loving sister, putting my needs before her own and coming to my defense. For that I am always grateful.

Carly's voice begins to fade in. "You are gonna make it through this. You are gonna have a lot of friends and family to support you. I will support you, and I will always be there for you. You're my brother and I love you Lucas. Never forget that." Carly pats him on his back before turning back around to leave the room. She knows this will be one of the toughest days of his life.

It's times I feel like I am a burden to Carly, now knowing she has things to overcome on her own problems....new baby on the way (even though she hasn't confirmed it to me yet, I know these things)....Sam being alive...I just hope I can be there for her as she was with me.

****The song for the funeral is "Full of Grace" by Sarah McLachlan.****
Press play to begin the video.

Everyone begins making their way upon Wyndemere, where the funeral proceedings shall take place. Nikolas was kind enough to allow Lucas to hold the event there. Carly puts aside her anger issues with Nikolas long enough to have this day go on without a hitch. Carly opens the door, making the way for Maxie, Lulu, Georgie, Dillon, Luke, Tracy, Ned, Robin, Mac, Patrick, Anna, Sonny and the kids to arrive. and even Noah. They all go over to give Lucas a hug, but Dillon tends to shy away from Lucas, knowing that their tryst pushed the events in motion. Lucas unaware of the fact that Noah is there because he is also feeling guilt inside.

Wow, so Noah came to the funeral but my own mother didn't? I guess she doesn't care what this day means to me or the man that I love. Noah wasn't close with Brandon, but he was kind to both of us so I can understand why he's here. But Dillon? ………..I shouldn't be this way. This is a day of remembrances, but I can't help feeling angry. He says he cares about me...where was his concern for Brandon? I don't think I can ever forgive him, or myself, for what happened. But, I cannot dwell on that now. The least I can do is try to show some consideration and put my feelings aside, for Brandon's sake. No one else's.

As soon as everyone settled in, Carly informed the guests that it was time to go out to the memorial area. On the way out, the camera cuts to Noah, who whispers to himself, "What have I done?" All the guests put a flower overtop of the small casket containing a portion of Brandon's ashes. There, each had their own personal speech that they wanted to share with Brandon and most of all, Lucas.

Carly is first up to speak. She slowly makes her way to the podium to speak. She looks over the crowd of friends and family, there to support Lucas. She slowly turns to the poster sized picture of Brandon and begins to speak.

"You were the first, if not only, person, to make my brother happy. Somehow, you were able to bring what was missing from his life. Joy, contentment, happiness, the list goes on. It wasn't always smiles with the two of you. In the beginning you hated one another, but as time passed you helped Lucas accept who he is and the man he is destined to become." She stops to wipe the tears from her eyes. She casts a glance to Lucas, who appears to be in his own little world.

"When Lucas found out that he lost you, he was devastated…as we all were. The world stopped, and he couldn't go forward. You were his world....you were his life. There will never be another like you Brandon. No one could ever replace you in his life. I know that you wouldn't want Lucas to be alone forever. In time the wounds will heal, but you will always hold a special place in his heart….and in ours."

Inside Lucas is crying uncontrollably. Outside he feels he must be strong and not let this be about his grief. He doesn't shed a tear during Carly's speech. No emotion, just a blank stare. All he could do was sit and feel numb as everyone gave their speeches. Up next was Lulu.

"When I first saw Brandon, I knew right away he would be the perfect guy for Lucas. They both had something that was undeniable, right from the start. The two may not have saw it at first, but it was there. All you two needed was some pushing. I just respected you both for going ahead, not giving a care about what the world thought, and basically just being yourselves as if nothing that anyone thought badly of you could get to you. That kind of love," Lulu begins to cry. She struggles to hold back her tears. "That kind of love is so uncommon. I advise everyone here to grab on to it and never let go once you find it!"

The camera cuts to the audience. Those who came together look at their significant others and smile, grabbing each other's hands. Lulu finishes up her speech, "Once you find it don't ever let go. You were the best thing to happen to Brandon."

Lulu goes back and Carly comforts her as she begins to cry. Maxie had nothing to say, as all she could think about in her head was of her own self. How she somehow pushed Dillon and Lucas together. The pain got to her so much, that all she could was walk away with tears in her eyes. Still, Lucas was not showing any emotion whatsoever. Noah walked up and apologized for not keeping him here on this earth so that he and Lucas could have more time together. In reality, this was Noah's veiled attempt of apologizing for keeping the truth hidden from Lucas about who was behind the wheel of the car. Noah touched Lucas' arm and started crying. Dillon was next, and when he went to speak, he could not get any words out, and started closing up...but he was determined to let both Lucas and Brandon know how he feels.

"Brandon was probably the most intelligent and funny person that I'll ever know. He was always kind to me and I enjoyed spending time with him." Soon into his speech, Dillon begins to break down. "Oh...god.....I never wanted any of this to happen. This was never my intention. I put so many lives in jeopardy, I hurt someone who I called my best friend...and I don't think he will ever forgive me for that."

Tracy stands up and tells Dillon to stop making this about him. Luke goes over and tries to bring Dillon back to his seat. As they pass Lucas, Dillon stops. "What I did...what I have done was inexcusable. I never should have betrayed your friendships. But, I screwed up! I hurt you both in the worst way possible. And now...this is my punishment! All the pain and suffering....none of this would have happened if it weren't for me!"

Lucas stands up and looks Dillon right in the eyes. "Poor you. Poor you Dillon. Brandon is dead and all you can think about it how sorry you are? My forgiveness is not the one you should be asking for."

Dillon turns back and looks at a cold Lucas. "I really am sorry….for everything." His sincerity was untouched. It is at this moment that Dillon truly realizes that he's lost Lucas as a friend forever. Finally it was Lucas' turn to speak. Lucas was hesitant to get up….but he felt compelled to do so.

Lucas slowly walks up to the podium. The wind begins to blow heavily and the clouds begin to darken. He closes his eyes and begins to speak from the heart. He thanks everyone for coming to this service. He apologizes for not being able to speak the way he'd like to, but would like to express his feelings through a poem that he wrote for Brandon:

Louder, louder
The voice in my head,
Whispers taunting, all the things you said,
Faster the days go by, And I'm still
Stuck in this moment, of wanting you here,
Time in the blink of an eye,
You held my hand,
You held me tight,
Now you're gone and I'm still crying,
Shocked, Broken, I'm dying inside….

Where are you?
I need you!
Don't be leave me here on my own,
Speak to me, be near me,
I can't survive unless I know your with me,
Where are you? I need you.
Don't leave me here on my own
Where are you?
I can't survive unless you're with me.

A tear slowly falls down his cheek as he inhales the fresh Spoon Island air.

Carly informs everyone that they may all return to Wyndemere for the dinner honoring Brandon's memory. Lucas tells them to leave without him because he's not ready to leave. Carly and Lulu don't think it's a good idea for him to be alone, but he reassures them that he'll be fine. Everyone began leaving slowly, giving Lucas a hug and telling him it was going to be ok. As soon as everyone was gone, Lucas slowly walked to the display and put his hand over the picture. From that point on, all buried emotions come to the surface as he is unable to hold them back any longer.

"I never thought that you would ever leave me. You know, we made plans to spend our lives together. We even thought of having kids one day. How did things get so messed up? We began to grow apart, but we never let that distance hurt us…until that night. That stupid night....I turned to someone else. I betrayed you, your trust, your devotion. Dillon is not entirely to blame here. I am, too. You will never know how sorry I am that I hurt you. You would never gotten hit by that car if it wasn't for me. You wouldn't have ended up hating me if it wasn't for my actions. For that, look what it cost me. I lost my friend, my confidante, my soul mate. Please, forgive me, Brandon. Please! I am so sorry! God...I am so sorry!"

That moment, all emotions run high as Lucas just lies down and starts to cry heavily. All of the pain and hurt finally comes out and he cannot stop. He holds them back long enough to sing "Irish Blessing."

May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sunshine warm upon your face. May the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, until we meet again……..may god, hold you in the palm….of his hand……

While he is crying, a hand touches his shoulder. He looks up and sees a figure looking down at him. He continues to cry in her arms as she sits down next to him. She wipes the tears from his eyes and tells him that Brandon did forgive him. Carly tells Lucas when he's sleeping and feels something brush against his cheek, that'll be Brandon. When he walks outside and feels a chill from the wind that is Brandon. When he look to the sky to talk to Brandon, the biggest and brightest star will be him. Brandon will never leave Lucas. She's sure of it.

Lucas then picks up the urn and takes off the top. With Carly's help he slowly turns it over, allowing the ashes to blow in the wind over the water. Lucas stands tall and feels the wind blow, sending a chill down his spine. Carly takes him by the hand and says "Let's go home." Port Charles ends with Carly and Lucas walking back Wyndemere. Suddenly a white light appears in the form on Brandon…as he says "I do forgive you."

Special Father's Day Episode

***Disclaimer: This is an EXTREMELY long episode, but very important to future storylines. Please read carefully.***

Port Charles begins with Sonny walking downstairs just in time to see Carly and the boys settling in downstairs. They decided to have a nice formal dinner this time as a way to shaking things up. Michael's attitude is still a problem, but he's more than willing to try and make Sonny's special a nice one. Carly asks if Kristina will be joining them for dinner, Sonny explains that she's supposed to be on the way.

Alexis was picking up a few of Molly’s toys when Kristina raced from the hallway and towards the door. Alexis stopped her before she got too far. “Where are you going young lady?” Alexis asked as Kristina stopped and closed the door she just opened.

“I’m going to see Dad. Milo is coming to pick me up.” The young teenager replied as she stepped closer to her mother.

“No, you’re not. You’re going to spend the day with the family. It’s Father’s Day.”

“Yes I know I was planning on spending it with Dad.” Kristina whined.

“Well what about Ric? Maybe it would be nice to appreciate him as your stepfather than just your Uncle Ric.”

“Yeah, maybe. But Dad’s expecting me.”

“Would it hurt you to spend some time with your family and then spend a few hours with your father?”

Kristina sulked. “I suppose I could do that. If you really want me too?”

Just as she agreed to stay, Ric walked through the front door of the lakeside cabin. He came up to Kristina, gave her a hug hello, then went to Alexis, and greeted her with a quick kiss. “Where are you off too? I saw Milo was parked outside.” Ric asked as Kristina was hesitant to tell him she had plans to go see her father.

“I was going to see Dad, but Mom convinced me to stay and spend some time with you first, Uncle Ric.”

Ric went to her and gave her another hug. “I appreciate that, Kristina. I really do. What happened to Daddy Ric? I’m Uncle Ric now?” he questioned.

Kristina hesitated; she didn’t want to hurt Ric’s feelings, so she chose her words before telling him why she came to call him Uncle Ric and not Daddy.

“That was a long time ago. I guess I’m just growing up.”

“It’s okay. Daddy, Uncle, doesn’t matter. I will always be there for you like a father should, and that’s what matters the most.”

The moment was broken when Molly’s cries could be heard from the back bedroom. “I’ll go get her.” Alexis said and she left Kristina and Ric alone together to talk.

Kristina released from Ric’s embrace. “I guess I should go and tell Milo to pick me up later today.” She raced outside as Alexis emerged from the hallway with Molly in her arms. The young child still wiping sleep from her eyes as Ric reached for her.

Monica was standing at the French Doors looking out when Alan came up behind her wanting to know what was wrong. She turned around and smiled wistfully, surveying everyone in the room. She watched as Tracy, Ned, AJ and Edward bickered about amongst themselves about ELQ business. The Spencer’s were in one corner, Luke spinning stories and Alice gazing adoringly at him. Noah and Bobbie were quietly holding hands and talking with Robin and Patrick. Monica looked quickly into Alan’s eyes and replied that nothing was wrong, she was happy that everyone was here. Monica was torn between wanting to celebrate this day with her husband, but also ready for this entire charade to just be over. She secretly hopes Jason will drop by, but doesn't really think he will.

The doorbell rang and Alice went to get it. “This better not be strippers,” commented Edward to Luke. Alan hushed Edward and everyone turned, anxiously awaiting the visitors. They were shocked to see Lucky walk in with a presumed dead Sam. Everyone gasped as Lucky introduced Sam to the group. Luke stood up and took Sam’s hand. Looking questioningly at Lucky, he kissed Sam’s hand and said suspiciously, “Charmed I’m sure.” No one, except Luke, noticed that Sam’s eyes briefly narrowed.

Back at Sonny's, Sonny notices that Carly seems a little distant and wonders what's wrong. The last thing Carly wants is to tell Sonny that she's pregnant, especially since the person who should know first, isn't aware yet. She comes up with an excuse, going into how re-launching Deception is a bit more complicated than she originally thought. Sonny can agree with her on that. Corinthos-Morgan has been taking more steps towards legitimacy, which is just as tough. Michael chases Morgan upstairs (Morgan stole Michael's Sony PSP). The loving parents laugh. Sonny caresses Carly's hand and thanks her for allowing the kids to spend the day with him. Carly admits it's nice to spend time as a family again. Jason enters soon after interrupting the moment between Sonny & Carly. Carly notices the bruise on Jason's face and asks what's wrong, Jason responds what isn't.

Back at the Lake house, Alexis speaks with Ric.

“Don’t take Kristina’s calling you Uncle too hard. She’s young and things may change.” Alexis tried to re-assure Ric.

“It’s okay. Sonny is her father and she knows he will always be her father. I don’t want to give her the impression that I am trying to replace Sonny in her life. She can have both of us in her life and love us equally.”

Kristina comes back into the house and joined the family on the couch. “So, what are we going to do now? I told Milo to pick me up this afternoon around 4pm. So we have all day to spend together.” Kristina smiled.
Ric suggested they go swimming in the lake and maybe BBQ outside to celebrate. The family agreed to the plans, so Alexis and the girls went to change clothes to go swimming, while Ric went into the kitchen to get the food they’d be cooking on the grill.

Jason admits that he didn't come for dinner; he came by to pick up Michael and bring him to the Quartermaines. Sonny tenses up, but Carly tells him to calm down. Carly promised Monica that she'd allow Michael to spend time with the Q's, and she intends on keeping that promise. Jason calls Michael down, who had already changed his clothes. Carly kisses the boys goodbye, she tells them that she has a few errands to run and will see them at home. She wishes Sonny a happy Father's Day yet again before heading out.

Kristina came running from the hallway and raced out the door towards the lake, and Alexis followed with Molly in one arm and Molly’s arm floaters in the other. Ric came from the kitchen with his hands full and walked ahead of her to sit the stuff down so he could help her with Molly.
The family enjoyed the together time they had before Kristina was carried away to visit with Sonny. Just as they were sitting down to their meal, the phone rang.

Alexis got up from her seat to answer it. “Alexis Davis.” She answered.

“Alexis, it’s Sonny."

"Happy Father's Day Sonny."

"Thank you Alexis. I was calling to find out when Kristina would like to get picked up. We’re about ready to sit down to dinner.”

“So are we. She told Milo she'd be ready around 4. Is that good?.”

“Okay, I’ll send Milo for her.”

“Ok….and Sonny," Alexis begins. "Thank you for understanding how important it us that Kristina spends time with Ric today. It means a lot to the family to know that she is here with us.”

“No need to thank me, Alexis. Kristina was the one who wanted to change the plans. She really wanted to spend some time with Ric. She’s the one you should be thanking, Alexis.”

Alexis hung up the phone with Sonny and went back to the table with the family. The sound of laughter could be heard from the deck of the lake house as it echoed through the trees. This was the first time in a long time that the family enjoyed spending the day together. It was without interruption, and Kristina and Ric’s relationship was stronger because of it.

An uncomfortable silence descended as Lucky and Sam walked further into the room and sat down. “Well, I know I need a drink. Anyone?” Tracy stood up. “Well, except you AJ.” Tracy said pointedly as she went to the bar and fixed herself a gin and tonic. Tracy tossed back the drink and poured herself another.

“Tracy, do shut up. It is Father’s Day and I want to spend it with my son. Is that too much to ask? Can you keep your mouth closed today as a gift for our Father?” Alan asked, walking up next to her. He turned and made Monica a drink and took bottled water for himself.

Edward waved his hands, “Yes Tracy, please. I just want peace and quiet today. It’s going to be hard enough without Jason here, so stop trying to create trouble.”

Sam began shifting uncomfortably. Lucky attentively asked Sam if she was all right. She responded that she was. She said it was hard because she felt everyone was looking at her and she didn’t know why. Lucky hugs her and tells her not to worry about it. At that moment, Jason walked into the mansion and and her eyes locked with his shortly before she turned away. Everyone in the room looked from Jason to Sam except for AJ, who went to hug Michael and asked Michael how he was doing. Michael's attitude still doesn't improve, but he sees that AJ is trying to make an effort, so why be difficult.

Jason looked at Lucky sitting closely to Sam and glared stonily at him. “What the hell is he doing here?” Jason asked his parents. Anger poured out of every cell of his body. He explained that he couldn’t be here with Lucky. “It’s either him or me.”

Trying to be the peacekeeper, Alan stepped forward, “Jason, please stay. We can all get along.” Monica laid her hand on Jason’s arm and pleaded with him to stay, for the family’s sake. They wanted him to stay.

Lucky stared back at Jason and refused to move away from Sam. Jason turns to Alan and with a low tone wishes him a happy Father's Day. With a glare at everyone in the room, Jason spun on his heels and stormed out. The front door slammed so hard that a painting fell off the wall, knocking a vase onto the ground. As everyone raced into the foyer, no one noticed the devious smile forming on Sam’s lips.

At Wyndemere, Nikolas is sitting in the living room with little Spencer. This is Spencer's first father's day with him and he couldn't be any more happy. Unbeknownst to Nikolas, Carly has just arrived at the castle with a gift for him. She makes her way to the living room, but stops when she hears him speaking to Spencer.

Nikolas reflects on the time he's spent with his son, including the time he didn't get to spend with him because of Courtney. Nikolas promises to be the best father he can be, and will always put his son first. He takes another picture of himself and Spencer and shows his small son. "See Spencer, that's you and daddy. We'll always be together, no matter what. I'll protect you from all that mean you harm. You're my son and I love you."

Nikolas walks over near the mantle and picks up a picture of Laura. "If only my mother could see us together. It would make her day. I can't wait for her to actually meet you….one day." Nikolas goes to lay Spencer down in the playpen as Carly finally walks into the room, wiping her eyes.

After dinner, Kristina showered and changed her clothes and waited for Milo. As the limo pulled up outside the lake house, she quickly ran to Ric and embraced him. “Happy Father’s Day.” Kristina said.

“Thank you sweetheart. Now you go off and have fun with your Dad.” Ric replied as Kristina released the hug and smiled at him.

Kristina raced off towards the door, but turned around before leaving. “I love you, Daddy Ric.”

Alexis and Molly joined him as they watched Kristina climb in the back seat of the limo. Milo giving them a nod of re-assurance as the back window slid down and Kristina waved goodbye.

“We’re going to be just fine, Alexis ," Ric says as he kisses his wife tenderly. "Just fine.”

Sonny tries to call Alexis when Kristina arrives, but Ric answers instead. "Hello Ric. I'm uh…Kristina made it safely. Tell Alexis for me." Kristina gives Sonny a hug before running out to find Morgan.

"No problem," Ric says as the camera pulls up on him. Ric feels that Sonny is about to hang up the phone, so he blurts out, "hey Sonny."

"Yeah?"

"Happy Father's Day….."

Sonny takes a look around and smiles at his children. He turns back to the phone and says, "Happy Father's Day to you too….little brother." Sonny then hangs up the phone and goes out onto the deck with his children. The camera cuts to Ric as he jokingly laughs and quite pleased at the response he got from Sonny.

"Carly," he says. "What are you doing here?" Nikolas is happy she's there, but it's kind of surprising seeing as how she hasn't spoken to him since she learned that he was keeping Sam alive. "I don't mean to sound—"

"I know," she interrupts. "I haven't been a real people person as of late and I'm sorry." She can't help by cry. He's just so damn good with Spencer. He's a wonderful father. "I umm…I thought of you today and it really put some things into perspective for me."

Carly continues talking and then stops, realizing that she's been rambling for about 5 minutes. "I came here to give your gift…for Father's Day."

She hands Nikolas a large rectangular box with orange wrapping paper. Nikolas slowly begins to open the package. He takes off the lid and is very surprised by what he finds inside. "What's this," Nikolas asks holding up what's inside the box.

Carly is unable to hold back her emotions any longer. Tossing the hair from her eyes, she says "It's our child. Happy Father's Day Dad."

Nikolas looks in his hand and closely examines the ultrasound. At a loss for words, he says "This is…it's our….," his voice trails off. He looks at Carly for approval and she nods her head, tears flowing down her face. Nikolas runs over to her and picks her up while spinning around. He kisses her passionately before bringing her over to the sofa. Nikolas picks up Spencer and walks over, showing him the gift. "Look Spencer," he says, "you're gonna be a big brother!"

Port Charles closes with Nikolas and Carly kissing while holding Spencer.

She kisses him and unbuttons his shirt as he goes to unbuckle his jeans. Unbeknownst to the two of them, David Hayward enters Kevin’s office to get a psych consult for patient when he stumbles across the two of them. Shocked, he takes out his camera phone and snaps a few pictures before leaving unnoticed.

- Meanwhile, Sam is staring out of the window in Lucky’s apartment. A voice echoes in her head. “He hurt you, and now he must pay” repeats over and over in her head. She sees a woman fall off her porch but is caught by her husband. A flash occurs, triggering a memory to when Jason caught Liz after she was pushed by Helena. Sam clutches the spot on her neck where her necklace used to be when she hears someone come in.

Sam: Lucky I didn’t think you’d-

Sam is speechless when she turns around. The person who just entered the apartment is Nikolas!

Nikolas: What in the hell? Sam? Where…you’re dead!

Sam: What?!

The two of them stare at each other, unsure of what to say next.

Lucky: Hey Sam, sorry I took so long. I needed to….Whoa. Nikolas.

Lucky is unsure of what to say. Before he can get another word out, Nikolas punches Lucky in the face. Sam rushes over to Lucky to help him and yells at Nikolas for punching him.

- At the Port Charles Park, the media is preparing their notes for Carly’s press conference, scheduled to start any minute now. Lulu fixes her hair and tells Carly she looks fine. Carly and Lulu both smile at each other, then make their way to the podium. Carly begins to get nervous but when she sees Bobbie, Noah, Sonny & the kids she gets a boost of confidence.

Carly: Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please? My name is Carly Corinthos. I’ve invited you all here to today to make an announcement. Recently I’ve been acquiring companies under the CarCor Industries banner. I’ve been positioning myself for a huge acquisition and it looks like my hard work has paid off. Thanks to some smart….business investments and alliances that I’ve made….I can now reveal that I am now the new owner of Deception Cosmetics.

Everyone in the crowd whispers amongst themselves. Carly looks over to her family to see them kind of surprised as well.

Carly: I was involved with Deception Cosmetics a few years ago, but I had a very small stake in the company. I respect everything that my aunt Laura Spencer did for the company, but my vision is so much more. With the help of the community, current and future workers, Deception will once again be at the top of the field.

Lulu: We plan on taking Deception to the next level and then some.

Reporter: Excuse me Ms. Corinthos, but what does this woman have to do with your company?

Carly: This woman. This beautiful, remarkable, intelligent woman here is my cousin Leslie Lu Spencer. She is the daughter of Luke & Laura Spencer. She has been by my side through all the crap I had to go through to purchase the company. Lulu is young, energetic and full of life. She is someone who I could rebuild my company around. You can expect to see Lulu as the interim Face of Deception.

Reporter: Isn’t that a blatant case of nepotism?

Carly: Of course it is. But this is my company. I will familiarize myself with the staff and the models, but until I do, Leslie Lu Spencer is the Face of Deception.

Reporter: We haven’t heard much from Jax Cosmetics in the past few years, will they return to the market as well?

Carly: Jasper Jacks and I have worked out a partnership deal. As of last week, I own a considerable amount of stock in Jax Cosmetics.

Reporter: What other things do you have in store? And will the recent downfall of Basic Black affect any of your business decisions?

Carly: Well…for one thing we are not only working with cosmetics. Beginning 2007, we will begin work on our fashion line. Both Jax Cosmetics & Deception will team up for a ground breaking fashion show in March. Not only will our models wear our make up, but they will model our clothes as well. As far as Basic Black goes, I hear the idiot that was running the company caused them to go bankrupt. I can assure you all that Deception will not face the same fate as Basic Black. We will knock down any and all competition and will reign supreme. Why you ask? Because I’m Carly Corinthos. And I’m that damn good.

- As the family bombarded AJ with questions as to why he didn't think far enough ahead to the consequences of faking his death, Monica slipped away to make the phone call. Her mind weighs heavily on Lucy knowing all about her and Kevin and her wanting to keep the affair a secret. She didn't know for how long now, now that Lucy knew. She had to make sure that her dirty little secret was kept under wraps, that would be all she needed -- she had enough going on at home, she didn't need the family to learn she had been keeping just another secret from them.

- Slipping into her coat, Elizabeth hoped that all she had to do was pick up the gift and be right back home; however, something told her she might be in for a surprise.

- Maxie calls Georgie and tries to talk about Dillon. As soon as she mentions Dillon, he walks into Kelly's, which gives Maxie the green light to do some damage. Maxie hangs up her phone and she goes over to talk to Dillon. He looks up and notices Maxie walking toward him, and he is already not happy.

- Monica sneaks to give her some privacy when calling Kevin. She forgot to do one thing before making her call, and that was to be sure she closed the door behind her, as it stood ajar just a crack. Monica went to the phone on the desk and dialed Kevin's number. There had to be a way to ensure Lucy's silence. There just had to be.

It rang a few times before Kevin picked up.

"What took you so long?" Monica questioned him.

"I got Lucy here all up and over my back, she is not happy, Monica." Kevin answered with Lucy standing in earshot of the conversation.

"Neither will I if Alan finds out, so she better keep what she saw to herself."

As Monica talked on the phone to Kevin, she wasn't aware she company in the room with her. Tracy had stumbled into the empty room to find Monica on the phone.

- At General Hospital, Lucy makes way to Kevin's office, but doesn't come to find him. She comes face-to-face with David Hayward.

Lucy: Oh, I'm sorry...I must be in the wrong office. I was looking for....

David: Kevin Collins? Yes, you're in the right office. And you must be Lucy.

Lucy: Yes, how did you know that? And just who exactly are you?

David: I'm Dr. David Hayward... (shakes Lucy's hand)....and I know more about you than you think. And if you'd like, I would like to get a bit more about you.

Lucy looks at the coy doctor with a sly grin, yet she is still a bit uneasy with how this complete stranger knows everything there is to know about her, or so she thinks.

- "And what exactly isn't Alan suppose to know?" barked Tracy, startling Monica. She thinking quick on her feet, came up with some excuse and covered the phone call with Kevin, telling Tracy it was Carly on the phone.

Tracy didn't buy the story Monica spun for her, but there will be another day when she will stumble on what is actually going on. Tracy left the room, leaving Monica on the phone with Kevin.

"We're going to have tread very delicately with Lucy ... it may cost us a hefty price." Kevin warned.

"Anything whatever she wants Kevin, you give it to her. We've kept our affair secret this long, Lucy is not going to ruin what we have together." Monica replied with a warning of her own.

"Can we meet later?"

- Back at Kelly’s….

Dillon: Look, whatever you have to say, just save it.

Maxie: Well, I know that you and Georgie are having problems. Obviously, something is troubling you. Well, I should say someone.

Dillon: You don't know what you are talking about.

Maxie: I can understand that you are upset and jealous that Lucas is with someone else other than you, but it'll be ok. Pretty soon, Lucas will realize exactly where your priorities lie, and it will all become clear, that you have feelings for him.

Dillon: Shut up.

Maxie: Then it will all make sense. Georgie will never be able to stand the sight of you again, not to mention the Quartermaines, and Lucas may not be able to trust you, along with Brandon, and you will be left alone. Funny how things work out sometimes, huh?

Dillon starts to stand up and berates Maxie. He tells her that she is wrong in her theories, that he is in love with Georgie, he will always love her, and that he does not have feelings for Lucas. Dillon storms out.

- While ringing the doorbell to Lucky’s, Elizabeth could feel her cheeks grow warm. Would he open the door and let her in? Would he be civil to her, or would he simply toss hate at her again. As she stood waiting to see if he would come to the door, she heard footsteps approach.

- Getting up to refill her cup full of coffee, Maxie suddenly was hit with the ultimate plan. She could drug Dillon and Lucas and have them sleep together! She would set everything up, then be there to take the photos and give them to Georgie. On top of that, Dillon was always putting his thoughts on that damn video journal of his; all she had to do was find a way to swipe entries, make a copy, and begin to slowly release the video on YouTube. Smirking mischievously, Maxie couldn’t be any more pleased with herself.

“Girl, when you scheme, you really know how to scheme,” she said to herself, taking another sip of coffee.

- Monica and Kevin agreed on a spot to meet later and she hung up the phone. She picked the receiver up once more and called Carly. Carly picked up the phone right away and Monica quickly spun some story about the Q’s having an important family gathering that her, Sonny, Michael and Jason were invited to. Carly asks if Nikolas would be able to attend and Monica ok’s it. Carly accepted and told Monica they would be over as soon as they could get away. Monica quickly hung up the phone and returned to where the rest of the family was gathering.

- Unlocking the door, Lucky looked at Elizabeth. He didn’t know what to say to her; he didn’t know what he could say to her. All he knew was that it pained him seeing her, but not having her in his life. “Um, Nikolas told me that you were coming to pick up the gift he had for Cameron,” he said, stepping aside to let her in. “You can sit down while I go get it.”

Taking a seat on the couch, Elizabeth looked around the apartment. Her eyes locked on a picture; a picture of the two of them on their wedding day. She diverted her eyes quickly. Everything in the apartment reminded her of his love for her. Items she bought him for birthdays, pictures on the mantle, even the jacket that she bought he was on the other couch. It all reminded her of how things used to be between them; now it was all gone.
