I saw Alyssa Edwards live a few weeks back and she was a brilliant live performer. Her lipsyncs on the show have been good, but in person she really puts on a hell of a show. Where I live we have a weekly RuPaul show every Thursday with one or two of the girls from the show performing. Stacey Layne Matthews lives in San Antonio so she's included weekly as well. I haven't been going often, but I plan on being there for Jinkx next week and I'm going to try for Alaska later in the month. As for the actual show, I think overall the talent is very strong this season. Last season you could immediately tell the top 3-4, but this season I do think many of the queens could've been there. Right now I do think Roxxxy is overpraised and I don't get Detox. I also never liked Raven and since they're similar that could be why. Coco is disappointing because I feel she's the total package, but she always ends up screwing up somehow. Overall they're all very strong (including Alyssa) so it's little things I find myself nit-picking, which is a good problem to have. I wonder how the next All Stars will be as well. I'd like them to do themed seasons. A plus-size season would be a classic.

I'm going to say that OVERALL the ladies look good, with the exception of the NYC and OC gals who look terrible. The only OC gal that looks good is Lydia and Ramona is probably the best from NYC. If this is an indication of who is returning, then I say those are solid blocks, however it is VERY sad to see NYC reduced to just having Ramona as an original, if that's the case. I agree they need a proper revamp, but I miss those original ladies. I'm curious which New York housewife was called and didn't know the Upfronts were coming up. My guess is that housewife won't be returning LOL.

I'm confused about why OC and NJ have such cheap cast shots. Miami, Beverly Hills, New York and Atlanta all has such stylized shots and high production values. This is like a step back for them. I'm also disappointed that there aren't any official new housewives, when we know there were several women heavily filming with them. Jennifer Dalton in particular, is going to basically be a housewife. I don't understand why they don't just put a sixth woman to shake things up. I guess Bravo is going to use Married to Medicine as the second housewives series and then New Jersey will premiere on the back of that. Then we'll have New Jersey and OC going until Miami is ready. Then they'll have New York replace New Jersey in the fall.

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS!!! VH1 has been boring as hell so this will be a nice shot in the arm!

I would love for the company that owns this to just start releasing it on DVD. Somebody needs to start releasing these old soaps in big blocks, either six month or full year sets. Do it cheaply and price it reasonably and I could see them selling a decent amount.

I think the smartest place for Jennifer would be on RHONY. She obviously doesn't want heavy drama and that show needs someone youthful and DIFFERENT. With Miami she would run the risk of returning to the type of behavior she had on Basketball Wives, but she would probably fit in well there.

Cheap don't be throwing no shade as us Marlo fans! According to Nene they DID film Marlo, so we had every reason to expect her to be featured. I still maintain it was a mistake not to have her on. She would've owned this season.

Kari said in her blog that her husband was legally separated when they started dating. I don't think that is the same as being the mistress to a married man. At that point they were living separate lives and probably living separately as well. When you have money it takes time to get a divorce, sometimes years, and I don't think to be a good person you should stay single simply because your divorce isn't finalized. As Kari said, she had to completely take over his finances, so he was probably wiped out with that divorce. I appreciate that at least Kari has shown a business knowledge and seems to have a career of her own. For all her talk of being a doctors wife, at least she's working. I find myself being drawn to Kari and the two doctors just because they seem to have a touch of class and knowledge that the others lack. The others seem far too drawn to these foolish social events. I do like the combination of the two though.

I'm pretty sure there was an article in this thread, but what does everybody think of RHOC hitting 100 episodes this season? They're going to have a 2-hour standalone special that interviews the old housewives and revisits the history of the show. This should be coming up very soon. According to Wikipedia the season premiere is episode 102, but they include Reunions and Lost Footage as episodes. I wonder what episode Bravo will make the official episode 100.

London, Ana from Miami is the one with documentation that proved nothing LOL. I still believe it must've proved something, because Lea had her lawyers cut that out of the reunion.

Simone and Jackie were TV gold. I found this one of the most real relationships I've seen on reality tv. We know they had true history based on their law practice together and the way they joke around with each other feels like very close friends. It just feels natural and fun. I joke with my close friends like that, but if I meet somebody I wouldn't necessarily act that way because it might offend them. I'm glad they'll be bringing some brains. She is nothing like I expected. I thought the scene where she was romancing her husband and ended up working was cute. I felt that was a very real scene as well. I was surprised to see she was more than a trophy wife and actually has brains as well. I wonder how things would've been if any of these women were on RHOA instead. I bet it would've been fire with Quad, Kari and Mariah instead of Kenya and Porsha. Hell, I'd even fire Phaedra and throw in Toya as well.

To clarify, the reason I said she didn't have money is not just because of he twerking video, but from reports around the net. She's not from a wealthy family, she's from a normal middle class family like the rest of us. Wasn't it reported she hadn't even graduated high school? This is what Porsha deserves. She was an idiot and in the three years she was with him, she did nothing to become an independent woman and make something of herself. She doesn't come from money, so when she met a rich man she should've attempted some sort of education or career so she'd be able to stand on her own two feet. Instead, she stayed at home and went to lunch all day. She didn't even have a baby so she could get paid that way. Just a dumb ho. She kept throwing her pitcher perfect marriage in everyone's face and you see how it worked out. Another reason I don't feel sorry for her is because of the gay rumors with Kordell. Granted they are just rumors, but they are so extensive and it caused him to retire early so I believe where there's smoke, there's fire. Plus you have the alleged incident where he got caught sucking dick, but the cop let him off because of who he was. Seeing him on the show and how he treated Porsha, it definitely felt like she was an accessory. I didn't see married bliss. I saw a beard.

Her whole face looks swollen in the preview shows on Bravo's website (Briana Gives Birth). You can REALLY tell in her talking head. I'm not sure what she got, but the smart thing would've been to get it done as soon as last season wrapped filming, that way her face would have time to settle. The sad thing is, she actually looked good at the last reunion. She didn't need ANYTHING, even fillers.

The New York situation is just crazy. It's a shame that Bravo never aired Vancouver, now it would probably be confusing since the show is in it's second season. I think it would've done well and the second season could've been on deck in case something like this happened. if the show wasn't successful, it's a cheap import so it wuldn't have mattered. A new cast won't save New York anymore than that reboot did. There wasn't anything wrong with the 3 ladies they added, but the chemistry was wrong overall. Firing Jill and Alex is what really killed the show. Neither one of them should've been fired regardless of anything. Next to Bethenny they were the stars! Plus with Alex's big social networking, I feel she would've been important in this day and age. She was a good Bravo cheerleader who followed the rules and would've done whatever was asked of her. They need to suck it up and ask these two back if they want a chance of reviving this show,.

I hope RHOM adds that transgendered woman as a new Housewife. She seemed like she'd have an interesting story to tell.

I like Quad for the drama, but she and Mariah have potential to be very annoying. I thought they were trying too hard and I didn't like them using the gay lingo. Kari was fabulous! I expected her to be more quiet, but she's very in your face. That shocks me considering she might end up punched by Quad. She doesn't seem afraid of speaking up AT ALL.

I think Kenya had valid reason to get upset. With Porsha she invited her as Miss USA and used that in her introduction, but wasn't professional to do her research before making a speech. That was rude and she should've been clocked for that. Also, Kenya did the right thing by leaving the party and not making a scene. Porsha followed her outside as she was leaving. Then in Anguilla it's the same thing. Nene, Kenya and the girls are having a positive conversation and then Porsha kept trying to pick a fight, which worked. I'm annoyed with Kenya at this point, but I can't stand Porsha either. She's a basic, hating shyt-starter.

When I say Sheree went out with a bang, I mean that she was still providing unforgettable moments in RHOA history. The fight with Nene that opened the season, the RIDICULOUS Chateau Sheree mess which STILL is spawning parody videos, the epic reunion performance where everybody laid into her, her son sleeping on the air mattress, the fight with Bob, Marlo, etc. Yes she was pathetic, but that stuff was great tv. These season we have all the women on the sidelines treading water. Nene for example has been absolutely useless. The chemistry isn't there with the current cast. As soon as Kim left it went downhill.

I think last season was much better than this one. This season didn't have many memorable moments and it always felt like we were waiting for it to pick up momentum. As much as I enjoyed Kenya, it was obvious she was playing for the cameras, which was annoying. I understand Sheree needed to go, but she went out with a bang IMO, including that fabulous reunion.

Fallon is brilliant in season one. For me, Dynasty is only good seasons 1-2 & 9. Right now I've been re-watching the series and it has been a chore to get through. I'm currently stuck somewhere in season six, but I haven't watched in two months. I decided to watch The Colbys, which actually was MUCH better than Dynasty was at that point. Both seasons were good, but season two you can see a huge improvement.

Oh yes! It was Bethenny vs Luann, not Kelly as I originally remembered. Those first three seasons were golden, but overall I still find New York the best over the 5 seasons.

She was prominently featured on RHONY in one episode. She was shown as a friend of either Bethenny or Kelly and they went to a fashion show together and Kelly and Bethenny got into a huge fight with Lisa in the middle. Monday on WWHL they asked Lisa if she'd join the housewives and she didn't seem interested. She said she probably wouldn't get along with Brandi and that she doesn't know how she'd fare under that type of pressure. Andy said she'd make a great housewife since she already knows them all.
