    Episode 8

Why do you say poor Hallie?
  2. Carly notices Sam's odd behavior, but is thrown when she spots Parker out of the corner of her eye. Parker reminds her that he was supposed to take him to a friend's house and smarts off that she's too busy kissing up to Sam to notice her own children. Just then, Jack busts in the door and calls out to Sam. "Leonard Samuels!" he yells. Tom stops by Bob and Kim's and finds the house empty. Nancy comes in from a game of bingo at a girlfriend's house and greets Tom with a smile and a kiss on the cheek. Tom asks Gram if she's seen his dad and the two share their mutual concern over Bob's emotional stability. Meanwhile, Bob becomes infuriated when a doctor second guesses his orders and fires him. Susan sees it all happen and tells the doctor not to think anything of it and to continue his shift. Susan finds Bob and angrily scolds him, yelling at him to pull it together. As Hallie coos in her arms, Barbara looks up and sees Will and Gwen standing teary eyed beside her. Barbara tells them not to dare look at her that way. She will be just fine. Barbara informs them that she starts treatment to remove the cancerous lump from her tongue and begs them not to take it so hard. Paul and Rosanna lay in bed together and both seem to reel from what just happened. Paul protests that it was a moment of passion and ignorance and it won't happen again. He loves Meg and he loves the child they're about to have together. Meg, coming to tell Rosanna to stay away from her man, almost catches them together. Later, Meg hangs around and catches a glimpse of a naked Paul through the window. Once she's back in her car, she calls Paul, claiming that Rosanna upset her badly and she thinks her blood pressure might be a bit too high, so she's going to the free clinic in town. Paul questions why she's not going to Memorial, but Meg says that there's too many bad memories there for her and she trusts the new doctor at the free clinic. When she gets there, she slips the doctor an envelope, hops on the bed, and waits for Paul to come running. However, she gets a last minute call from Margo telling her of Craig's plane going down and bolts. Paul arrive and finds no Meg and wonders where she's run off to. Rosanna catches up with Paul and begs him not to let Meg suck him in. Lucinda goes by the apartment complex and immediately blasts the landlord for denying her son and his boyfriend an apartment because of their sexuality. The landlord adamantly protests Lucinda's claims and confesses that he denied them an apartment because of Noah's father being a killer. He feels unsafe knowing the son of a killer resides in his complex and no matter how much Lucinda tries to rattle him, he won't budge. Finally, Lucinda leaves and runs into Lily. Lucinda, after Lily presses her as to why she's upset, tells Lily about Noah coming to her. After she hears the real reason that the landlord denied Luke and Noah an apartment, she sets off to tell Luke the news...unbeknownst to the mother she just promised that she would keep quiet. Katie sits beside her mother's recliner and holds her hand as they look back on old home movies. A knock at the door startles the women and Katie is floored when she finds Brad on the other side. Brad explains that he's back from his location shoot and wants to start where they left off. Lyla grunts and Katie takes him into the hallway and tells him that they have to stop. Her brother's dead and her mother's dying. She has had all the grief she can stand. She begs Brad to take the hint and leave, but Brad remains adamant that now is the best time to have a baby so that her mother can see her grandchild before she dies. And maybe see Brad's not so bad after all. Insulted, Katie shooes Brad away but later, contemplates his idea.
  3. Casey steps into Bob's office at Memorial. The usually neat and well-kept desk seems sloppy and unattended. Bob comes into the office, but not before sticking his head out the door and barking some last minute orders to nurse Janice. Casey greets Bob with a mild "hello" and Bob's face turns from a pale white frown to a rosey red grin. Bob mentions that he had told Tom that Casey would be coming back soon, but he didn't realize his favorite grandson would be back this soon. Casey explains that thanks to some conditions and rules, he was let go a month before he was supposed to be. Bob asks what brings Casey to see him. Casey explains to Bob that he's had trouble sleeping and would like to be prescribed sleeping pills. When Casey refuses to tell Bob details of why he needs them to sleep through the night, Bob gets testy and assumes that Casey wants them for the sole intent of abusing them and politely kicks Casey out of his office. Later, when Casey asks Tom about Bob's odd behavior, Tom vows to make it right, citing that Bob's been rather stressed lately. Dusty and Emily wander through the almost desolate Oakdale Mini-Mall. Just as they decide to turn around and inform Susan of their return to town, they bump into Lily, who came to run some errands. A tense air feels the gap between the three. Dusty tries to talk to Lily, but Lily stops him mid-sentence and tells him that although they didn't work out, she still hopes they can be friends. It's obvious that Dusty feels regret for packing up so suddenly and leaving Lily behind, but he had to do it. He had to do it if he wanted Emily. Lily bids them farewell. As Lily leaves, Emily accuses Dusty of still having feelings for Lily. Later, Holden asks Lily where she went and Lily shortly replies that she went out for a walk. Will and Gwen hold hands as they walk through the park. Alison comes up behind them carrying baby Hallie and jokes that Hallie has Aaron wrapped around her finger. Gwen tells Alison that they just discovered that Barbara has cancer. Alison recalls all the hardships that Will and Gwen have had to face and tells them that it's only a matter of time before things shift around. Will thanks Alison for watching Hallie and the two set off to Barbara's. As they open the door, Barbara has a smile on her face. She's thrilled to see baby Hallie. Rosanna asks Paul if she can sit next to him and Paul agrees. Rosanna apologizes for everything that she's ever done to cause him unfortune....all for the price of having him all to herself. However, she now realizes that he's not happy with her. He's happy with Meg. As Rosanna leaves, Paul reflects on his tumultuous relationship with Rosanna. He then recalls getting the news that Barbara has cancer. He recalls how needy and strange Meg has been acting. Paul feels like his world is spinning down around him. Later, Rosanna opens the door to find a drunk Paul shoving his toungue in her mouth and ripping her clothes off. Stunned at first, Rosanna eventually gives in. Margo and Katie knock on the door of Lyla's suite. Lisa comes by and tells them that Lyla has gone to her nightly performance. Sensing that something is very wrong, Lisa summons Lyla off the stage and has Margo and Katie break the news to her. Lyla crumbles into Margo's arms as Katie leans on Lyla. Margo explains that Craig nor his jet have been found yet but there are no islands nearby for survivors to swim to. All signs indicate that the plane went down and Craig didn't survive. Jack is running a report on a murder case and cross checking references. Jake Slater, the man suspected of the murder, has confessed that he had a former partner that backed out of the murder at the last minute, saying that he had found the gig of a lifetime. When Jack looks for one Leonard Samuels, he's stunned. Jack snatches up his coat and bolts out the door. Meanwhile, Sam takes Carly to view the damage to Metro. As Carly turns around, she finds Sam staring intensely at her.
  4. Andrew comes in and tells Lucinda that a Mr. Mayer is here to see her. Lucinda welcomes Noah in and immediately thinks that something is wrong with Luke. Noah assures her that Luke is fine and recalls a time when Lucinda told Noah and Luke that if they needed anything, they could come to her. Lucinda asks what it is and Noah recalls the story of being refused an apartment because of his and Luke's sexuality. Noah confides in Lucinda that Luke asked him not to come, but his one shot at happiness with Luke is slowly dwindling thanks to the looming stress of finding a place to live. Lucinda asks Noah what exactly he wants her to do. Noah answers that he wants Lucinda to talk to the landlord and see if she can't do anything. Lucinda agrees, but tells Noah that Luke's eventually going to find out. Craig comes by and knocks on his mother's door. Lyla comes up behind him and nearly spooks him. Lyla cackles and opens the door to the suite, motioning for Craig to follow. Craig tells Lyla that he can't stay long. His jet is all fired up and ready to go. Lyla asks where he's going and Craig smiles from ear to ear. He's going to Barbados to bring Lyla's grandson and granddaughter home to her. Lyla cries tears of joy, which Craig brushes away with his hand. Craig confides in Lyla that he's so excited to be getting Lucy and Johnny back and how he almost feels like God has given him a second chance. He hugs Lyla one last time before he walks out and tells her that he'll be back before she even misses him. Katie answers to the frantic knocks at the cottage door. It's Vienna, who comes in crying and holding a letter. Katie asks what's wrong, but when Vienna only responds by annoyingly blowing her nose in a tissue, Katie snatches the letter and reads it. Vienna explains that she never really knew her uncle that well, but he always trusted her more than anyone in the family. Katie, confused, asks Vienna what the matter is....since she's obviously made it known that it's not grief. Vienna sobs that Henry will never marry her. Katie sighs and tells Vienna that she's worried about nothing. Henry will marry her, he loves her. Vienna confides that she's just afraid that Henry will leave her at the altar again...especially after they made so much progress in their relationship since the last time. Katie promises Vienna that Henry will marry her....especially if a multi-million dollar fortune is at stake. Will, Gwen, and Paul all file into Barbara's suite at the Lakeview and wait for her to come home. When she does, they berate her with questions until Barbara finally tells them to stop. Barbara, through tears, explains her oral cancer and the treatment she's about to undergo. She scolds Paul for finding out the way he did, promising that she was going to tell them. Later, Gwen tries to comfort a visibly shaken Will who explains that he's already had to lose his sister, his father....he doesn't want to dare think what he would do if he lost his mother. Meanwhile, Paul buries his grief in a drink at Yo's....just as Rosanna enters and sights Paul sittting at the bar. Margo brushes through some papers on her desk, still unable to believe how horribly 2008 has started. Her son came home from jail, her brother-in-law went into jail, her son is taking sleeping pills to sleep through nightmares of an unexplainably traumatic prison stay that he refuses to talk about, and her mother returned to town to tell her children that she has cancer and might very well be dying. Just when she thinks she can't hear anymore bad news, a deputy tells her that someone's on the phone. Margo's jaw drops as she hears the horrific news. Craig's private jet went off the radar just off the coast of South Carolina as it sailed over the North Atlantic Ocean headed for Barbados. No survivors have been found.
  5. Casey promises Tom that the pills are only to help him sleep. Tom tells him that if he's having problems sleeping, he should consult his grandfather. Casey argues that Bob has problems of his own since one grandchild just got released from jail and his son just went to jail. He's probably not a happy camper. Tom insists that Bob would want anything and everything to do with the health and well being of his grandson and promises to make him an appointment. Vienna comes to Al's and sees Henry handing the keys over to the original owner. Vienna comforts Henry and tells him that she knows he's doing the right thing. Henry suggests they go grab a martini at the Lakeview bar, but Vienna tells Henry that she knows just the thing to cheer him up. Vienna pulls out an envolope. Count Van Fudersberg, Vienna's wealty uncle, has unfortunately died and left them a fortune. Henry thinks that there must be a catch, but Vienna tells him there's not. Later, Vienna pulls out the envelope and reads the letter again, unfolding a part that she neglected to show Henry that says that Vienna must become married by the end of February. Luke comes in steaming from his and Noah's meeting with the real estate agent. Noah promises that they'll work things out. Lily comes in, bringing some stuff from the house to Cal's old house where Luke and Noah are temporarily living. Lily asks how things went and Luke lies. After Lily leaves, Noah asks why Luke lied to her. Luke clues Noah in that Lily's not the kind that will sit around and do nothing. Knowing her and Lucinda, they'll march over to that apartment and tell the landlord what they think. Noah gets an idea and rushes out, but doesn't tell Luke his idea. At B.R.O., Paul confronts his mother about this mystery phone call. Barbara asks Paul how much he heard and Paul informs her that he heard enough to be worried. Barbara promises that she has everything under control. Barbara returns to her office and tells Paul to run an errand. As he walks outside, he pulls out his cell phone, finds out from the operator what Dr. Hilton's number is, and calls him. Paul pretends to know everything and tells Dr. Hilton that his mother has had a change of heart. Dr. Hilton repeats that he is glad to see that Barbara is seeking treatment for her cancer. Paul stops dead in his tracks. Alison and Aaron run into the cheery young Munson clan at Java. Gwen and Alison branch off to talk while Will and Aaron talk. Will tells Aaron that he's worried about Gwen. She's doing great being a mother, but he and Gwen can't seem to get alone time. About that time, Alison intrudes and informs Will that she would love to babysit. Will is uneasy about it, but Gwen urges Will to give it some thought. After consideration, Will finally agrees and Aaron and Alison take baby Hallie. Will and Gwen sigh that they finally can get some alone time. Will suggests a nice dinner and a night of lovemaking. All looks set.....until Paul calls with bad news.

  7. Lisa comes by WOAK to bring Kim some ads to run for the re-opening of Mabel's. Kim asks Lisa what made her decide to close down Crash and re-open Mabel's. Lisa explains that Oakdale was abuzz with disappointment when she converted the famous red hots stand into a karaoke booth and after a good month of profit, it went downhill. Lisa asks Kim how she and Bob are holding up with Chris now in prison and Evan on the run from the police after taking Bob hostage. Kim admits that she hopes Evan gets what he deserves, but she can't help thinking that Chris was just blinded by Evan's desire for power and got sucked into it all. Lisa comforts Kim and tells her that Bob must be taking it hard. She talked with a few people at Memorial and it seems Bob's been beyond cruel with the employees at the hospital. Kim cries that not even Nancy can get through to Bob and groans that she doesn't know what to do anymore. Casey comes in and drops his dirty clothes on the floor. Margo chastises him for being so sloppy and reminds him that he has to get up early and go to Emma's again in the morning. Casey moans and groans that his parents are treating him unfairly. He just got out of jail and when he walks back in the door, his parents already have a job lined up for him raking up horse crap and feeding chickens. Margo tells Casey that they just want what's best for him and he can stop at any time. However, part of the deal that got him out was that he would do hard labor for 3 months. Tom comes in and asks to speak to Casey alone. Casey takes the time to tell Tom that he met a new girl and was hoping that he could take her out to eat somewhere nice. Tom, however, doesn't give Casey time to talk. Instead, he confronts Casey with the sleeping pills he found tucked away in Casey's closet earlier this morning after Casey went to Emma's. Across town, Barbara comes into the office and finds a work load too big for her to tackle alone. Luckily, Paul comes in and decides to help his mom some. Paul makes small talk and notices that Barbara isn't talking very much. Barbara's assistant busts through the door and announces that a Dr. Hilton is on the phone for Barbara. Barbara winces as Paul asks what's going on. Barbara lies and says that it's just about her schedule conflict with a B.R.O. show and a check-up. Outside, Barbara berates the doctor for calling her at the office and reminds him that she is a very busy woman. Dr. Hilton counters that cancer is a very serious disease and she should treat it as such. Barbara finally agrees to come in, just as she turns around and notices Paul eavesdropping. Noah and Luke tour their new apartment together. The real estate agent comes in and tells them both that the landlord has refused their offer. When Luke asks why, the realtor makes up excuses but Luke knows it's because they're gay. Outside of Metro, Carly asks the contractor how long it will take to repair the fire damage to Metro. Jack arrives and tells Carly that she has no money to be rebuilding Metro and asks where she plans on getting the money. Cary acts tough and tells Jack that she'll find a way. She asks what he's doing here and he tells her that Parker got suspended from school today. Carly groans and offers to come talk to the principal with Jack, but Jack tells her that she doesn't need to. He already has and Parker can go back to school next week. Jack tells Carly that Parker's rebellion is partly because of....but Carly stops him short, telling him not to dare blame Parker's behavior on Sam. Sam is a good man and she knows that Jack is jealous. Jack laughs and tells Carly to think what she wants. Little do they both know that Sam is discarding the evidence from the fire. Sam looks over and tells Cowboy Jack that his plans are just beginning.
  8. Snow falls outside the lonely remote Colorado cabin that Rosanna sits in. Before long, her driver comes in and asks Mrs. Cabot if she's taken to the state while being here on business or if she's ready to return home to her husband. Rosanna blankly replies that she and Paul are no longer together. He and Meg are expecting a child together and she wishes them nothing but happiness. The driver apologizes and grabs her luggage. Rosanna stops the driver and asks him if he has any family. He replies cheerfully that he has two baby girls. Outside, through the snow, Rosanna sees a family skiing with their toddler son and sighs heavy. She knows that Cabot would be about three this year and it breaks her heart to think that she'll never see him again. Paul paces in front of the bathroom door. He hollers for Meg and asks if she's alright. Meg finally emerges from the bathroom, claiming that she's still not used to the sickness. Paul consoles her, but talk of pregnancy makes Meg remember that Paul deserted her with Craig. Paul wonders aloud if Meg is ever going to let it go. She seemed happy with Craig. She told Paul time and time again that she didn't have feelings for him anymore. Meg takes it back and says that her hormones are raging. Later, while Paul is outside getting the car ready to go out to dinner, Meg tells herself that although she miscarried a few weeks ago, she needs to keep Paul thinking that she's pregnant until she can make sure Rosanna is no longer a threat. Brushing the snow off her boots, Gwen unlocks the door to the cottage. Going through the house, she finds Will and Hallie asleep on the bed. Gwen returns to the living room and sees a message on the machine. It's from New Chances Rehab Center in Chicago. Dr. Beder gets on the phone and tells Gwen that Iris has been admitted into their facility. Gwen rolls her eyes at her mother's latest ploy for attention. Will sneaks up from behind Gwen, nearly giving her a heart attack. Gwen asks how long Hallie has slept and groans that she probably won't sleep through the night again. Will assures Gwen that soon, they'll get time to themselves. "Finally," Katie huffs as Craig waltzes in the door. "NOW can we get down to business? I have to be at WOAK in an hour." Margo rolls her eyes and tells her mother that now she has all the children together. What did she come back to Oakdale for? A hush falls over the room when Lyla informs them that she is slowly dying. Katie busts into tears, Margo holds her mother's trembling frame, and Craig takes a seat next to his baby sister. Later, after everyone has left except Katie, Lyla tells Katie that dying isn't the only reason that she returned to Oakdale. She returned partly in hopes to push Katie to get hold of herself. Lyla gripes that she heard about Katie's recent baby-making mission with Brad Snyder and makes it clear to Katie that she is not thrilled. She expects more from her daughter than chasing after a policeman that will keep the same wife until he dies, pining over an Australian scoundrel who does her wrong every time, and trying to make babies with her worst enemy simply to make a baby. Katie, tears pouring, storms out of the room.
  9. Lyla stands in shock that her daughter would think that her mother would need an ulterior motive to return to the same town that she once called home. Margo knocks on the door and Lyla answers it, cheerily welcoming her in. Just then, it clicks with Katie. Margo called Lyla home. But for what? Not knowing the answer for herself, Katie says it out loud, bringing both Margo and Lyla to look at Katie with blank expressions. Again, it clicks. Margo called Lyla to Oakdale to lecture Katie. Katie becomes furious, grabs her coat, and goes to leave but Margo grabs her arm and tells her to sit down so they can all talk. Nancy comes downstairs when she hears the commotion in the kitchen. She finds Bob sulking in the parlor and Kim crying on a bench outside the home. Nancy goes in and chastises Bob. Bob won't hear of it. Chris, he says, wanted one thing and one thing only...power...and he wasn't going to let his father get in his way. Nancy reminds Bob that Bob hasn't always been fair with Chris. Perhaps Chris felt backed into a corner. He stood by and watched Bob gush over Tom and Frannie his whole life. Perhaps he just wanted some recognition, some love. Perhaps he went about it the wrong way, but everyone deserves a second chance. Nancy promises Bob that Chris is still the kind hearted, gentle boy he once was. However, Bob remains adamant otherwise, forcing Nancy to surrender her pleas. Casey apologizes for running into Sofie, but Sofie takes the blame, promising that she'll watch where she's going next time. Both introduce themselves. A sound of silence permeates the air for far too long and Casey soon excuses himself. Later, Sofie finds Aaron and Alison playing around in the hay loft. A disheartened Sofie turns around to return to the Wagon Wheel, but Casey stops her and invites her to go with him for some hot apple pie at Al's. Shocked, Carly wonders aloud who would want to set Metro on fire. Sam excuses himself, and before he has time to walk a decent distance, Jack tells Carly that he knows exactly who started the fire. Her freak friend with the talking puppet. Carly slaps Jack for his low accusation and reminds him that Sam pulled her out of her darkest moment and helped her realize that shades of the old, cheerful Carly were still alive. Jack is hurt that Carly didn't seek him for help, but Carly laughs that Jack was too busy doing the horizontal mambo with Katie Whoretti to even notice her. Jack, now even more hurt, turns his back and walks off leaving Carly to regret the harsh words that just slithered out of her mouth. Back in Dusty and Emily's hotel room, Dusty asks again why Emily never told him of Chris's last minute love letter. Emily snatches the letter and hisses that he needs to keep his meddling nose out of her personal things. All she asked for was some lotion, not the third degree. Dusty quickly apologizes, but the damage is done and Emily goes outside to cool off. Lucinda stands shocked at Craig's latest bombshell. Luicnda promises Craig that Lucy and Johnny are nowhere near Barbados. Craig takes it that Lucy must have changed her mind about trusting her old buzzard grandmother. Lucinda asks Craig to trust her...she knows exactly where Lucy and Johnny are NOT, and that's in Barbados. Craig remains adamant and Lucinda finally tells Craig to go on his own wild goose chase before storming out. Almost set to go, Craig gets a phone call. Margo wants him to come see their mother before he leaves.
  10. According to ANTW's latest interview with Oakdale Digest, fan favorite Scott Bryce will exit the role of Craig Montgomery sometime this week. The exit is storyline dictated. "We wish Scott well in all his future endeavors, but Craig's exit from Oakdale will send shockwaves through the town and leave tons of story to tell for months to come," promises Executive Producer and Headwriter Dusty Alford. In other news, Martha Madison was recently seen leaving ANTW's new studio in Louisiana. Word has it that she and TPTB are in negotiations for Madison to tackle a role for the show. Madison was recently given the pink slip after a long, successful role as Belle Black on NBC soap opera "Days of Our Lives". Her exit strengthens rumors that she might not be ready to quit the soap world just yet. Lastly, it's been quite a while since Oakdale has seen James Stenbeck. Could the villain of yesteryears soon return to terrorize the town of Oakdale once again? Rumors are running wild that soap vet Anthony Herrera, who portrays the dastardly devil, has said recently that he would love to return to his character's old stomping grounds. Only time will tell.
  11. Katie sits all alone in a suite at the Lakeview. Soon, Lyla emerges, gushing about her new singing job at the Lakeview. Katie, obviously distraught, asks her mother to go ahead and tell her the real reason she has returned to Oakdale. Brushing away tears from her eyes, Kim reads the latest letter that Chris has sent from prison. Kim knows Chris like the back of her hand. She knows her baby boy wanted what was best for the hospital and never meant to hurt his father. Bob comes in from his latest physical therapy appointment and Kim shows him the letter. Bob rips the letter in a fiery rage and tells Kim that Chris is no son of his. Barbara slips into the back of Luthers Corners Church and says a silent prayer to herself. The pastor emerges from his office and notes that Barbara hasn't been to the church in years. Barbara asserts it to the hectic work schedule at B.R.O. The pastor notes Barbara's odd speech and asks her about it. Barbara flees the church with tears in her eyes. Casey brushes past Meg in the Snyder family kitchen. Meg laughs and says that Mama has him working like a slave. Casey huffs, knowing that his part time job as stable boy at Emma Snyder's farm is one of the many experiments that his family has tried to get him back into the swing of Oakdale life. Sofie comes in, searching for Aaron, and literally crashes into Casey. Carly stands in shock as she watches firefighters douse the blaze that has overtaken Metro. Sam rushes towards her and asks if she's alright. Carly, fuming, asks Sam where he was and why he didn't show up to help her with the new floor plans for the karaoke stage. Sam makes up an excuse and asks Carly to forgive him. Before she can say anything, Jack emerges and tells Carly that the fire wasn't accidental. Dusty and Emily lay in lovers' bliss inside their hotel room. Dusty knew that taking Emily away from Oakdale would free her mind of Chris and the sham of a romance that she had with him. Emily goes to take a shower and asks Dusty too hand her something from her purse. While going through it, he finds a letter that Chris sent Emily, apologizing for everything. Tearing back the shower curtain, Dusty throws the letter in her face and asks her to explain why she never told him about it. Coming from his study, Craig asks the maid to prepare hiis luggage. Lucinda comes in and cackles that Craig's latest reign of terror in Oakdale has ended. She was able to resume control of Worldwide, the rift between Lily and Holden that Craig helped widen has been repaired, and Meg has finally given up on him. Craig surprisingly tells Lucinda that she's right...except for one thing. He's not retreating. He's going to pick up Lucy and Johnny in Barbados.
  12. Thursday June 7th, 2007 Lily teases me for keeping a blog, but oh well. What doesn't she give me a hard time about? If she didn't, she wouldn't be the Lily that I know and love. I'm back. I get so frustrated nowadays. It seems that everyone in my family has more issues than a newspaper. Meg has this "great" plan to foil Craig once and for all. She thinks that if she's able to finally get the company back, she can just drop Craig the next day and everything will go back to normal. And everyone who knows Craig Montgomery knows that there's no worse Craig than a Craig scorned. I just have this gut feeling that the only way this whole thing is going to end is on a bad note. Then, there's Mama. She's hardly around anymore and I can't say I blame her. With my bum cousin Brad back in town, Carly fighting for her kids and Jack & Katie practically humping each other everywhere they go, I doubt that I'd be wanting to hang around much anymore. And then there's the situation with Meg. I don't think Mama wants to even realize what's going on. I think she wants so stay out of the loop, because if she knows, then that'll just make her that much more disappointed in Meg. And lastly, there's Lily and Faith. Lily's been great. That stint in rehab did just the trick, but sometimes I think Lily's trying to right a wrong that can't be righted. She's trying to make up for what all she did with Lucinda and the company. She's trying to make it up to Faith that Faith feels the way she does because she saw Lily going through the same exact thing. I try and tell Faith that she's beautiful like she is, and I try to persuade Lily to not try so hard, so fast...but it's like they never hear me. I can say nothing to make them change their minds. I just feel like I'm at the end of my rope. I just feel like I'm invisible half the time. And when I try and talk sense into Meg, it goes out one ear and out the other. When I try and talk to Lily and Faith, they accuse me of just saying what I'm saying because I'm their father or husband, and it's my supposed job to say what I usually tell them. And Jack...I haven't had that much time to talk to him lately, but I just get the feeling that he's using Katie to help hypnotize himself into believing that he's over Carly. But everyone in this town knows that the truth is...Jack never stopped and never will stop having feelings for Carly. I know. I've been where he is before. I've been in his shoes. Well, at least I have Aaron. Sometimes, I'm thankful that he's off somewhere and not having to sit around Oakdale and deal with all the drama. I seriously don't think he could handle all of it..being back and all. It's just too much to ask of someone..for them to come home to a life they left behind, only to find that the way things were when they left has totally changed...most of the time, for the worse. Well, I guess that's all. I have to to get ready. Faith and I are going to see a movie. I think it's a great idea for us to just get away for a while, just walk in with a big bag of popcorn and forget all the drama and all the turmoil that's going on before our very eyes back home. 'Til next time, Holden

    SUPERCOUPLE OUT!

    Uhhh....they're married!?!!!?????????
  14. I can see some facial features that Walsh and Reckell share, but their voices are totally different. They have different body types. One is tall, one is short. I just don't see Bo's soulmate, Hope, buying "Duncan" as "Bo". It just seems VERY unrealistic.

    MISCELLANEOUS DAYS NEWS!

You sure do LOVE some death, destruction, and devestation don't yoiu?!
  16. Dear Diary, I'm writing this to you tonight from the couch. I'm staying the night at Will and Gwen's house again tonight. I have to get up early tomorrow and go to the Wagon Wheel. Maybe they'll let me have my old room back when I tell them that I have a job now and there will be no more interferences with my monthly payments. I love this couch. It's not too soft, not too hard. Just the way I like it. I have a pillow covering up the stain on the couch from where I accidentally spilled some of the chocolate cake from earlier. I have to remember to clean that up tomorrow. Well, tomorrow will be another eventful day in the life of Cleo Babbitt. I can't believe that Gwen got me a job at the Lakeview again! Maybe Lisa won't fire me this time. I certainly hope not. Gwen's so sweet and pretty and funny. I know I might kind of freak her out sometimes, but that's just me. And Will....oh my gosh. I can't stop thinking about him. I have such a huge crush on him and I know it's wrong because he's married and happy with Gwen but I can't stop wondering what would happen if I had just gone along with Jade's plan. Maybe I could have perfected my Gwen-ness. Maybe Will wouldn't have noticed. I can't help but think of the way he would brush my hair out of my face every morning and whisper sweet nothings into my ear. But for now, I guess we just have to be friends. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm rambling again, aren't I? I hate when I ramble. I used to do that all the time in Turlock and people would think I was crazy because I would never be quiet and I was always saying stuff and they'd look at me funny and laugh but I didn't know I rambled like I do until Will and Gwen told me. I'm sorry. I did it again. But Diary, I just want Will all to myself. Is that really bad to ask? I like Gwen. She's very sweet, but I really think Will and I would have plenty of fun together. It would be incredible. We could go down to the bowling alley and he could watch me do my famous Cleo Babbitt Triple Ball Juggle Pin Strike. And he would love me. Uh-oh. I have to go. I can hear Will moving around in the bed and I don't want to wake him. And besides, I have a very busy day tomorrow. I start work at the glamorous Lakeview tomorrow. I hope I do well and make Gwen and Will proud of me. I wish I didn't have to work so soon, but Gwen and Will said it would be best. And I trust them. Bye, diary!
  17. Okay. So Aunt Emma bought me this thing when I was like ten. Some crusty old notebook that she intended for me to use to "express my innermost thoughts and feelings". Chicks have diaries. But I guess men have journals. I don't know. I never understood that. So enough about my dysfunctional family and my need to write in a journal. Here's my predicament. Katie being the free spirit that she is has grown attached to my little brother, Jack. I can't help but feel pity for the poor girl. She got dumped by that Aussie (what's his name again? Sam?). Then she married Carly's ex-hunk 'o meat, Oakdale's resident carpenting guru, Mike Kasnoff. Both ended in disaster. And I'm not even bringing up that sham of a marriage to Henry. That dude's a few fries short of a happy meal. He's better off with that Vienna chick. Although, I do kinda wonder if he's man enough to handle her in the bedroom. She was quite the tigress with me. Anyways, so Carly winds up gettin' all attached to the Aussie (maybe his name's Steve?). They both thought it'd be funny to rob the Prince of WhateverLand of his precious crown jewels. Turns out the man didn't like that too much. So Simon and Carly make a break for it. My idiot brother gets all soft and lets 'em go. Only problem is...she left her kids. And I may not be the greatest guy in the world, but when my little niece Sage comes up and asks her Uncle Brad why her mom left..that's just not right. Okay. So, get this. About a week ago, Carly pops up out of nowhere. Wants to see the kids. Jack isn't too thrilled with the idea. And I don't blame him. However, I think we all know what this means. Let's face it. Jack and Carly are the next Ricky and Lucy, the next Fred and Wilma, the next Bo and Hope. (So what? I watch soaps. What's the big deal? My lunch break used to get kinda boring and the only thing ever on was Days Of Our Lives.) So no doubt that Jack is gonna tuck his tail between his legs and let Carly woo him back into marriage. They're gonna be all happy again and everyone's gonna forget about her cross country road trip with that damn Aussie whose name I can't remember. And there's little old Katie. Convinced that she's gonna be the next Mrs. Jack Snyder. Well, she's got another thing comin' to her. And what does she do when I try to bring her down a few notches back to reality? She accuses me of wanting to sabatoge that little thing that she's got goin' with my little brother. Whatever. That little girl wouldn't know love if it fell on her front door step. I tell ya one thing, though. After working with her on our show, I kinda see why men dig her so much. She might not be as smart as they come, but she's sure got the looks to make up for it! And if she's so deadset on joining the Snyder family, I'm pretty sure I could clear my schedule!!

This fan fiction, much like my old one, will stem from the closing actions of an episode of ATWT. After that episode airs, the next day..I will completely "take over" the show and make it my own. I hope you all are as excited as I am and I hope you all tune in! Together, we can make this happen! Now, comment! And show your excitement and enthusiasm about this new blog!
