  1. Could there be trouble ahead for troublesome Luke Snyder and ever-so-innocent Maddie Coleman? Insiders are hinting that the current story the powers that be are mapping out is their exit story. Both Van Hansis and Alexandra Chando, who head up one half of Oakdale's teen scene, are fan favorites both on The World of Oakdale and As The World Turns. So it comes as a shock that both actors would be written off. When asked of the rumors, Executive Producer/Headwriter Dusty Alford has this to say. "We don't comment on rumors, but I can say that both Van and Alex have been officially put on recurring status with the show". And what about that episode that aired last Friday? It featured a clearly upset Luke forcing himself on Maddie. "I won't say much, but I will say that this is not going to go the way I had intentionally planned for it to go" Hmm...very cryptic, indeed. Elsewhere, trouble is ahead for Will and Gwen as Iris Dombrowski makes her return this week after the couple runs into her at Java. "She's shocked to learn that the two teens got married and Will's shocked that she got out of the slammer so fast," says Iris's portrayer Terri Garber. Iris was last seen ducking into a police car door when she and her boyfriend Stan were aprehended after trying to frame Will for Iris's poisoning, which she did all on her own. So, what can we expect this time around? "I'm not saying much, because I haven't gotten any more scripts, but I will tell you this..." says Garber. "This new Dana girl that Gwen has been fighting off is going to have an unlikely ally in Iris." Doesn't sound like "Gwennie" is going to be too happy with dear old mom. Spoilers for the coming weeks: The ultimate showdown occurs this week when Lucinda, Craig, and Rico all face off. Katie begins having memories of Mike. Lily and Holden clash over a new business venture. Dana and Gwen get in over their heads at work. Chris confronts Ben. Emma and Lisa make a plan to get Grant out of their hair. Andy has second thoughts about pressing charges. Luke and Holden make an agreement. Maddie confides in Margo.

  3. Grant comes over to Emma's and finds that she has put a security system on the house. Grant asks to borrow a cup of sugar and puckers his lips, but Emma slaps him instead. Emma barks at Grant for coming over so late at night while she has her grandkids. Soon, a very heated debate over their feelings for one another ensues. Grant suggests they take all this tension to the bedroom, Emma slaps him again, and orders him out of her house. Once she's regained her composure, Emma calls Lisa and makes plans to meet with her tomorrow. Andy goes to Memorial, in hopes of finding Susan or Emily. Instead, he runs into Bob who informs him that Chris has returned home. Bob wonders why Andy has been so distant lately and Andy explains the situation with John and Roxie. Bob's pager goes off and he leaves. Susan walks up and informs him that Emily started packing her things earlier today to move back in with Andy but when she talked to her a while ago, she seemed very upset and said she was going to take care of Roxie once and for all, isnetad of just going to bed like Susan suggested. Emily rounds the corner of the jail and it's apparent that Emily has been there a while, talking with Roxie. Just as it seems things may become violent, Jack comes in and tells Emily that she's already breaking the rules by being here so late and asks her to wrap things up. Roxie snickers, thinking she has the last laugh, but in fact, Emily does...as she assures Roxie that the new cover of The Intuder will be the icing on the cake. A panicked Roxie wants to know what Emily plans on writing, but according to Emily, her lips are sealed until the new issue hits newsstands. As Emily makes her departure from the police station...we see her crumble. Andy comes up behind her and begs Emily to come home. Lily tries to calm an upset Maddie. An outraged and very emotional Luke storms through the door and tells Maddie that he's taking her home now! After they leave, Holden excuses himself to go take a walk and clear his head....(and cry a little, but he doesn't tell Lily that). Holden scolds himself for raising his hand to Luke. Back at the house, the doorbell rings and Lily wonders who it is this late at night. As she opens the door, she finds Mike, who apologizes for the kiss with Lily. Lily takes all the blame for the kiss and the two friends reach an agreement that they are happy with the people they're with and nothing can change that. Meanwhile, we see Luke pull up at Maddie's. He offers to walk her in and "talk things out". As soon as they reach Maddie's bedroom, Luke leans in for a kiss. Which turns into a make-out session. Which leads to Luke ripping Maddie's clothes off as she begs him to stop.....but he doesn't.
  4. Barbara calls Dana into her office and grills her, asking why she seems so interested in 1997 models. Dana says that she had a dear friend that died mysteriously at the same fashion show and to this day, she can't seem to quit investiagting. Barbara warns Dana that if this type of behavior continues, she will be fired. Later, Gwen comes across Dana, who acts very coldly towards her and Dana warns Gwen not to double cross her. Henry & Katie return back to Oakdale. Lyla wonders what took them so long and Katie tells of their flight getting delayed time after time. Henry goes for a drink at Ice, leaving the two women alone to talk about Henry & Katie's unforgettable "second honeymoon". Roxie demands to see her lawyer before she talks. Margo and Jack try their best to get any information from her, but she won't budge. Cass arrives and tells Jack and Margo that their interrogation has ended. Jack wonders how Roxie got such a high profile attorney as Cass. Meanwhile, John returns to lock-up and smirks at Margo. Margo goes to talk with her father, who insists that she try and talk her brother out of pressing charges, and then she finds out that John was just using Roxie to break up Andy and that slut Emily. Margo scolds her father and tells him that she will not be talking to Andy for him. That's something he'll have to do on his own. Luke, Maddie, Lily, and Holden all sit down for dinner at the Snyder residence. Luke informs them all that Maddie is going away for college in the fall. Maddie asks Luke to let it go, but Luke ends up ruining the nice, quite family dinner when he makes a big scene about Maddie leaving him and his parents grounding him like a little school child. Holden orders Luke to join him outside, where the men have a very heated conversation. Holden's temper gets the best of him and he raises his hand to Luke.
  5. Loved the Harley/Phillip scenes. Dang! Vanessa got a big mouth! Waiting to see where you're going wth the Braxton/Sandra stuff. What plan? *leans over and whispers* You can tell me.... *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*
  6. Jack and Margo survey the area by Memorial and get a call that Roxie just tried to use her grandmother's ATM card. Jack and Margo quickly arrive to the scene and re-arrest an emotional Roxie. Meanwhile, Barbara asks Gwen again if she got the information that she requested. Gwen says she did and hands over all of Dana's recent activity. It seems Barbara wanted to know why Dana had been staying so long after work and Gwen admits that Dana seemed a bit weird when she found Gwen at her computer. Barbara looks over the pages and is shocked by what she sees. Back at the Hughes home, Chris continues to say more than he should have. Bob notifies Chris that they only discovered that he had nearly lost his medical license, but nobody would every tell Ben why. Chris is outraged that they all went behind his back, especially his father and Ben. Chris screams out in rage and bolts out the door with Nancy right behind him. At the Walsh residence, Lucinda grabs a glass of wine to help her relax after her strenuous day at Worldwide. However, Craig comes running in. Apparently the man who has been following him started tailing him again and Craig is downright petrified. Lucinda tries to calm his fears and basically, get rid of him, but when Craig looks out the window, there's no calming him down. Lucinda looks out the window and as she and Rico exchange glares, Rico knows she's ticked and he better stop while he's ahead. Lucinda nods as Rico flashes away.
  7. Gwen makes up a story about her faulty computer and Dana, though still skeptical, apologizes for jumping on Gwen. Later, Gwen arrives at Barbara's office and locks the door behind her. Barbara looks up and asks Gwen if she got the information Barbara sent her after. Gwen nods yes. Andy and Emily rush to the hospital and learn that John showed signs of a stroke when they were booking him. Both are relieved, however, when the tests come back and the readings are good. Emily wonders if all the stress from trying to keep them apart might have finally triggered something. Later, Jack arrives and informs everyone that apparently, John was faking it all to create a distraction so Roxie could flee. And so she has. Luke returns to the Snyder home to find Lucinda and Lily arguing over Holden going on a business meeting. He furiously asks the two women why they continue to create such a hostile environment. Why can't they just get along? Lucinda leaves and Lily apologizes for him having to see that. She tells Luke that they have some alone time since Holden has taken the girls to go get ice cream. She asks him what's bothering him, but Luke won't tell. Chris arrives home and finds Bob, Kim, and Nancy in peculiar moods. Nancy comes out and says that Ben talked to Chris's old boss. They know everything. Chris, in a panic, admits that he never meant to hurt anyone, which completely baffles Bob, Kim, and Nancy who realize that they must have missed a detail somewhere along the way.

    GRETA ATTACKED!

    Ew.......whats in the basement?
  9. Dana comes into the library to find her father perusing over some financial notes. He shoves it to the side when he realizes Dana wants to talk. She asks him why he has this absurd infatuation with two women who are well past their prime, telling her father that he could do so much better. Grant dismisses his daughter, who in turn, arrives for work at B.R.O. only to find Gwen on her computer. Dana asks Gwen what the hell she thinks she's doing. Jack gets a call while at work. Though viewers don't know what the call said, Jack rushes home to find Carly packing, saying that she got the call too. Jack hates to see her leave, but is so happy about the phone call. Carly makes Jack promise her that he will get help with the kids and let them know that she's not abandoning them. Throughout all the chaos, Carly breaks down in Jack's arms. Jack tells her to hurry before she misses her flight and Carly kisses her G-Man goodbye. As soon as she does, it hits Jack and he thanks God that Rosanna has finally woken up! Luke arrives at the bus station to find that Tom and Margo have already picked Maddie up. Still a little confused and nervous about the status of their relationship, Luke calls Maddie and asks her to meet him at Java. Once they both come face to face, Maddie tells Luke the hard news that she's been debating on telling him for a few days now. She's leaving in the summer to go to college in Maine. Emily and Andy snuggle in the bed. Andy tells Emily that though she really hurt him, what they just did makes up for all of it. Emily apologizes again, saying that Andy grounds her and that's what she needs...that's what she has needed for quite some time now. Susan calls them and tells them to meet her at Memorial. It's urgent! They fear something is wrong with Daniel, but she tells them it's not Daniel. It's John.

  12. Henry takes a step back when Katie continues to come onto him, despite the broken bed. Henry tells Katie that this is wrong. She is in love with Mike, not him. Katie rebutts his statement, saying that Mike left her for a life with Jennifer and that's what he's got. Henry has had enough and storms out. A panicked Katie calls Lyla and wonders what she did wrong. Lyla assures Katie that Henry is just as confused as she is right now. Katie gets upset when she starts having flashes of Mike and herself making love. Katie vents her frustration saying that everyone is trying to pressure her into remembering a love for Mike that he himself betrayed. Lyla calls Henry and sternly orders him to return to Katie's room and come back to Oakdale, citing that this whole thing isn't going as she had thought it would. Andy and Emily sit in silence as they both await the arrival of John and Roxie. John and Roxie arrive and wonder what this double date is all about and how come Andy and Emily are back together. Emily goes along with Andy until Susan shows up. Susan informs them all that Andy's apartment shows a surveillance tape on Roxie entering Andy's room with a pharmacy bag...the exact bag that Susan displays. John ntoices it and calls Susan on her adavances at him the other night. Susan laughs at John's sorry attempt to get lucky" and says she was just using him to get the goods on Roxie and himself. John and Roxie are outraged and even more shocked when Jack arrives, placing the two of them under arrest. Lisa comes to Emma's house and finds Emma in a tizzy. Emma takes Lisa outside and shows her where Grant and Dana are calling home now. Lisa laughs at Grant's never-ending mind games and urges Emma to just let him alone until she can think of a way to rid Oakdale of him, once and for all. Lisa leaves and in walks Luke. Luke explains how the other night he snuck out with Will and Gwen when he was grounded, got drunk at Ice, and came home where his parents were waiting for him. He also vents his fears of losing Maddie, since she is touring colleges in Maine. Emma calms his fears and gives him some words to live by. As soon as Luke leaves, Lily enters and asks for Emma's advice on a recipe. Emma can tell that something much bigger than a recipe is bugging her and calls her on it. Chris runs into Nancy at Java and his grandmother asks him of his plans for the day. Chris says that he thought he'd run by Memorial and ask Ben if there was some work that needed to be done around the hospital. Later, Chris finds out from Ben that his father has been cutting people left and right due to budget cuts and it doesn't look like there'll be an open spot at the hospital for a while. Ben akss Chris why he didn't just ask his father for a job, but Chris covers somehow. Once Chris leaves, Ben's curiousity gets the best of him and he makes a call, inquiring about Chris.
  13. Just to clear up the confusion... Emily hasn't done anything. Right before Episode 249, I posted a "Previously on TWOO" which listed all the stuff that Oakdale citizens had gone through in the previous week. One of those things was the fact that Roxie drugged Andy, stripped him down naked, got in bed with him, and waited for John to arrive with Emily for Emily to see. Susan knew something was up with Roxie and John and vowed to find out what was going on. Now, she has found the pharmacy bag with Roxie's name on it. Therefore, Roxie has been busted! Now, Emily is realizing that she shouldn't have jumped to conclusions about Andy and Roxie b/c nothing happened. And how she's regretting breaking it off with him.
  14. Congratulations go out to SteveFrame. He wins the "Viewer" Of The Week title for the week of January 1st!! Also, quite a few runners-up. 15. The short-term role of "Rico Perez" is being played by Maximillian Alexander. Katie and Henry arrive at their hotel suite in Hawaii and find that the place is a complete hellhole. Lots of comical scenes ensue. Soon, we see a passionate "almost"-lovemaking session between the two, but a faulty bed interrupts them as it plummets to the ground. Rico arrives and Lucinda asks for him to take a seat. He asks Ms. Walsh if she's ready for his services now, but Lucinda stops him mid-sentence, threatening to tell the FBI everything she knows about him if he continues to follow Craig Montgomery, despite her orders to call off the hit. Rico fires back that he will out Ms. Walsh as the woman who had a hit put out on Craig. Lucinda dares him to try, calling his bluff, and saying that she's sure Jack Snyder would believe her over a convicted felon any day. Emily arrives at Andy's apartment upon his request. Emily tries to apologize but Andy, his pride a little hurt and his heart as well, changes the subject and tells Emily that John and Roxie should be coming over any second. Emily inquires as to the reasoning behind this double date and Andy asks Emily to just trust him. Lisa arrives at Gran't hotel suite with Emma and two security guards. Emma confides in Lisa that maybe Grant's eviction will be the last straw for him and he will leave town. Grant answers the door with Dana right behind him. Grant takes the time to introduce Dana to Lisa and Emma again and then assures both ladies that he and his daughter are on their way out. Emma and Lisa rejoice as they watch Grant and Dana walk off, but are puzzled when Grant winks at them both before turning the corner. Later, Emma pulls up to her house and is delighted to see that realtors have found someone to occupy Mr. Humphrey's old house. As she gets out of her car, a familiar voice echoes across the way, "Howdy Neighbor!". Emma cringes as she sees Grant and Dana entering their new home...only a few hundred yards away from hers.
  16. Very nice episode. A touch of drama and a brilliant memorial to Maureen. Well done!
  17. I changed the Lucinda/Craig scenes. I think I must have been on crack or something when I wrote the initial scene.
  18. At Lucinda's, Craig comes to the door and Lucinda wonders aloud what he wants this time...since his last visit lasted until the wee hours of the morning...and the visit mostly consisted of his whining about not having Sierra and Lucy in his life anymore and how he thinks someone is following him. Craig tells Lucinda that he knows someone is following him home every night. He's not crazy. As soon as he describes what vehicle, he thinks they drive, Lucinda flashes back to issuing a hit on Craig and then calling it off. Craig asks where Lucinda "went" and Lucinda assures Craig that all of this chaos will end soon. After Craig leaves, Lucinda calls Rico and tells him to bring his tail over to her house...right now! Holden angrily blasts Luke for drinking again and wonders what might have brought this on. Lily gets upset and while taking a drive to relieve some stress and clear her head, flashes back to her kiss with Mike. Lily decides that she must come clean to clear her conscience. Dana shows up for her first day on the job. Her work suddenly turns into research, though, as she uses the B.R.O. database to find models who were at a fashion show in Baltimore back in 1997. Grant runs into Lisa at the Lakeview and she excitedly hands him a slip of paper. Grant cracks that Lisa's a little too old for love notes and Lisa whips back that it's the best thing she could for such a classy guy. Grant opens up the slip of paper to discover that as of tomorrow, he is no longer a tenant of the Lakeview.

    CASTING CALL!

Jessica Dunphy or Ashley Tisdale ...but I would love to see J.D. cast in the part!
  20. Chris is sleeping, dreaming. Viewers don't see the dream, but when Chris awakens, Bob is standing nearby. Bob explains that Chris's screams could be heard all the way to Springfield. Bob asks his son what's going on. "What's got you so upset?" Later, Bob asks for Ben's advice with Chris. Emma covers with Jack by making up some fib, but he doesn't buy it and gives Emma advice with Grant. Emma thanks Jack, but assures him that she has everything covered and tells him of the pact her and Lisa made at New Year's. Emily is shocked and horrified when Susan pulls the empty pharmacy bag out of her purse. Emily and Andy both closely examine the bag and not only find Roxie Miller's name on the label, but learn from Susan that the exact drug that was in the bag is a sedative. Once you take it, you're out like a light for a good 12 hours or so. Andy looks at Emily as Emily looks at Andy. Lily and Holden return home to find Luke missing and fear the worst. They're relieved, but very mad when Luke returns home from his night out with Will and Gwen......but he's drunk.
  21. Emily refuses to go with Andy. Andy finally gives up and meets Susan at Java like she requested. Both are surprised when Emily comes in. Susan tells her daughter to take a seat...they have alot to go over. Over at Katie's cottage, Lyla arrives and listens to her daughter's heartfelt plea for Lyla to convince Henry to go on a second honeymoon. Lyla asks for time alone with Henry and convinces Henry to take her on the trip because it may do the exact opposite of rekindling flames between Katie and Henry. It may re-awaken her love for Mike. Barbara meets with Lisa at the Lakeview and the two women rave about the success of the telethon on New Year's Eve. Lisa talks of how Grant has hurt her for the last time. Meanwhile, we see Emma keep re-winding and playing the audio tape from when she tapped Grant's suite. Grant's voice comes across the speaker, talking to himself of how marvelous his plan is and basically calling his whole engagment to Lisa just a sham...all part of his plan to have Emma all to himself. Infuriated, Emma smashes the tape against the wall just as Jack enters.

  23. Jason and Erin bid the Hughes home and the Kasnoff/Peretti/Coleman home goodbye. Jason excitedly tells them all that he has found a once in a lifetime job opportunity BEHIND the camera and Erin thanks them all for taking her in anad apologizes for her theieving ways at the beginning of her stay. After Jason and Erin leave, Henry continues to try and persuade Katie against taking a second honeymoon. Katie seems deadset on going and calls Lyla to come over, in hopes of persuading Henry to go for it. Susan stops dead in her tracks when she sees John and how suddenly his mood has changed. Susan makes up a story about being paged for a medical emergency in pediatrics. As soon as she walks out of the door, Susan picks up her cell and asks Andy to meet her. And bring Emily. Mike thanks Nancy for meeting him and asks what she thinks he has to do to get Katie back. Nancy assures Mike to let time run its course and she'll find her way back to him.
  24. The World of Oakdale is looking to cast two roles in the coming weeks. The first is a recast of a minor player. Due to some last minute changes, the name and face of Lucinda's hitman that she ordered on Craig are changing. "Rico Perez" is described as a dark haired, hispanic man in his mid thirties. The second role that the show is looking to cast is Dana's mother, Millicent "Milly" Hamilton. Not much is known about the role, but sources say the woman will be quite the opposite of Grant. Though she has a soft, caring side, viewers will definitely be intrigued by her blunt, no-nonsense, comedic attitude. And don't forget...tomorrow is the final airdate for Marty West [Jason] and Geneva [Erin].
  25. Barbara escorts Dana into her office and has the young woman take a seat. Dana thanks Barbara for the job opportunity and explains how business has always had more pleasure for her than pleasure itself. Barbara seems intrigued by Dana and offers her a job with B.R.O.'s media relations department. Dana overjoyfully accepts. Craig reveals to Lucinda that during his time in jail, he did some things he's not so proud of and eventually got mixed up in one of Illinois's biggest, baddest drug rings. He gave them almost half of Rosanna's Cabot stocks and ended up causing a huge commotion at Cabot Motors and now, someone's following. Craig crumbles and says that it's all gotten very out of control...and now, he fears for her his life. Luke refuses to pick up a call from Maddie, furious that she tattled on him to his parents. And in turn, they grounded him. Lily & Holden appear at the door and ask Luke to come with them to the new Chinese restaurant in town. Luke turns them down and after they leave, Will & Gwen ask Luke to come with them to Ice, not knowing that he's grounded. Luke accepts their offer and makes his escape. Chris is left breathless when Daniel leaves courtesy of a stressed Tom. Kim arrives and thanks Chris for watching Daniel. The two have a candid observation of what just happened. Chris babysat Daniel, who is not only his nephew, but his ex-girlfriend's child. Chris says that he wasn't really himself when he dated Molly, Emily, Alison, etc. Kim is proud of her son for doing some soul seraching and excuses herself when the phone rings. Chris mumbles..."If only she knew....."
