ARTICLE: ‘Days of our Lives’ Addresses TikTok Imposter Situation, Denounces Trademark Infringement
In a message posted across its social media channels, “Days of our Lives” has issued a dispatch from Lady Whistleblower, calling out an imposter that had been impersonating the show’s official TikTok account while warning that ripping its content is trademark infringement. “It has come to our attention that a most scandalous imposter dared to masquerade as the esteemed @PeacockDays on TikTok,” opened the message designed as a letter. “This person, with the audacity of a rogue in the night, not only stole the identity of ‘Days of our Lives,’ but shamelessly snatched every treasured piece of content crafted for their beloved fans. A travesty, indeed!” “Thanks to the sharp eye of a most loyal and clever fan (a true hero of the digital age), this deception was exposed, and the nefarious account was banished within the hour,” continued the message, adding, “Beware of imposters! Accept no substitutes! The one and only ‘Days of our Lives’ TikTok resides at @PeacockDays.Follow with fun & kindness.” The letter seemingly included a stern warning to fans allegedly lifting content from the show, regardless of intent, and marked the first time it has formally addressed recent takedowns of accounts that were reported for copyright and trademark infringement to several social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, among others, by distributor Sony Pictures Television. “Ripping ‘Days of our Lives’ content is trademark infringement,” the letter pointed out,” noting “The sands int he hourglass wait for no fraud.” The letter was signed by Lady Whistleblower, referencing the fictional character involved in current storylines who is sharing all the “Body & Soul” secrets with Salemites, and is a parody version of Lady Whistledown from the Netflix series “Bridgerton.” You can read the full Lady Whistleblower letter below. ARTICLE: Fox First Run Cancels ‘Dish Nation,’ ‘Person, Place or Thing’ & ‘Pictionary’
Syndicated shows “Dish Nation,” “Person, Place or Thing” and “Pictionary” will not be returning for another season, reports TVNewsCheck, citing a spokeswoman for Fox First Run, the first-run development arm for Fox Entertainment, and the distribution company for Fox Television Stations. According to the outlet, as ratings continue to fall below sustainable financial levels for syndicated programming, many station groups are faced with making the difficult decision of what shows will continue airing on their schedules. Of the first-run syndicated programs currently airing across much of FOX Television Stations, TVNewsCheck noted that only talk show “Sherri,” distributed by Debmar-Mercury, and FOX-owned “TMZ” and “TMZ Live” appear safe. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. distributed shows like “The Jennifer Hudson Show,” “Extra” and “True Crime News,” and Trifecta’s “Crime Expose with Nancy O’Dell,” are said to be on the bubble. “Fox’s decisions have ramifications for stations all across the nation because it is the group that clears shows through the country’s three largest markets: New York, Los Angeles and Chicago,” the outlet said in its reporting while emphasizing stations are seeking daytime programming that “can generate revenue streams across multiple platforms and/or be run multiple times a day.” Looking to the future, only two first-run offerings are set to premiere this fall, both of which are game shows – CBS Media Ventures vehicle “Perfect Line,” hosted by Deborah Norville, and “Scrambled Up!” from Keller/Noll, Playing Field Entertainment and Crazy Legs Productions. Game shows continue performing well for stations with “Jeopardy!” “Wheel of Fortune” and “Family Feud” at the top of the syndication ratings, and even the Jaleel White-hosted game show “Flip Side” growing to all time highs, emerging as the fourth most watched syndicated game show. A co-production between Fox First Run and CBS Media Ventures, the Jerry O’Connell-hosted “Pictionary” premiered in the fall of 2022 and is based on the beloved game of quick sketches and hilarious guesses by Mattel. Meanwhile, the Dino Bones Productions produced “Person, Place or Thing” debuted in 2023 and is hosted by Melissa Peterman. After an initial test run in the summer of 2011, “Dish Nation” officially entered the syndication game in the fall of 2012, featuring a group of radio deejays discussing the latest news and information with an emphasis on celebrities and entertainment. In its later seasons, the show became a talk/entertainment hybrid and was hosted by Tamar Braxton, Headkrack, Gary with da Tea, Da Brat, Tanner Thomason and Jessie Woo. Donna, This is a message board. Posters aren't expected to post anything like that whatsoever. The only time any of that is used is when I use it in articles, but that is a professional expectation as a journalist. No way are posters expected to do so. If this a customary expectation of posters, particularly due to "trigger" issues, it's news to me.

But behind these pristine walls and lush, manicured gardens are juicy secrets and scandals waiting to be uncovered. And those who live outside these gates are watching closely. These are the places where the characters live, love, work and play. Those who have “made it” and those who haven’t are all trying to navigate life … and some with more grace than others. BTG: History, Behind the Scenes Articles & Photos
The talent tab was updated on Tuesday as I had checked on Monday and didn't see anything out of the ordinary there. Surprised they didn't include the photos under the "photos" tab. From looking at the source info, some of the photos are from shoots that took place in December while others were taken in January. It looks like the promo campaign photos (examples below) were taken on January 3 for photo day (key art). These are the photos that will potentially appear in the opening sequence and have been featured in the promo campaign thus far (specifically the core four Dupree family members).
