  1. Louise Sorel, Vivian Alamain, Days of our Lives, DAYS, DOOL, #DAYS, #DOOL, #DaysofourLives

Louise Sorel will reprise her iconic role as Vivian Alamain on “Days of our Lives” later this year, she recently announced during an interview with Harvey Brownstone on his YouTube Channel. She began taping this month.

When asked by Brownstone how her experience has been since being back on set, Sorel shares that it’s been difficult, particularly now due to Covid and the procedures in place by production. “You’ve got to get tested before you even get into the building. Then you sit in your room and wait until they tell you you’re clear, which could be two hours, at 5:30 in the morning. And then they shoot twice as fast as they ever did.” She adds, “There’s like a quick rehearsal and then [you] shoot it. I haven’t been here in three years, so yesterday, I felt God awful. I mean, I was apologizing. I was fumbling all over the place because they are loading me up with dialogue, and it’s been a while.”

Comparing her previous time on the show to her return, Sorel says, “It’s even harder now for all the actors. For the crew, for everybody, because it’s bare. They are taking time away from the work. It’s just, ‘get it done, get it done.’ I’m not blaming anyone, but that’s the way it is. It’s hard.”

Sorel joined the cast of “Days of our Lives” in 1992. She played the role of Vivian off and on through 2018, followed by a brief return in 2020. Marj Dusay (“Guiding Light”) took on the character for a time between 1992-1993, and later Robin Strasser (“One Life to Live”) in 2019 and Linda Dano (“Another World”) in 2021.

  2. Josh Swickard, A Wine Country Christmas, #WineCountryChristmas, General Hospital, GH, GH ABC, #GH, #GeneralHospital

Principal photography is currently underway in Southern California on “A Wine Country Christmas,” the seventh movie from Ali Afshar’s ESX Productions, following Netflix hits “A California Christmas,” “A California Christmas: City Lights” and “I Believe in Santa,” and the popular HBO Max films “A Hollywood Christmas,” “A Christmas Mystery,” and “Holiday Harmony.” The film’s cast includes soap stars Eileen Davidson (“The Young and the Restless”), Annika Noelle (“The Bold and the Beautiful”) and Josh Swickard (“General Hospital”), among others.

In “A Wine Country Christmas,” Sol Rodriguez (“Grachi”) plays Valentina, a young widow who struggles to keep the local vineyard from falling into the wrong hands while raising her two young boys. Still, she may be in store for a Christmas miracle when she falls for the world’s worst “carpenter.” For his part, Carter (Swickard), a big city playboy, is sent to wine country to get intel on a prospective vineyard for sale after his mother finally tires of him running away from any responsibility. He didn’t count on finding himself in Valentina’s rental apartment for the holidays, trading a place to stay for handiwork.

“Consistent demand requires consistent supply and when it comes to Christmas movies, we have a formula that works extremely well and delivers stories that audiences love,” said Afshar in a statement. “Making holiday movies is fun, and we have a dependable group of collaborators who understand our process and creative thinking. We’re so excited to have such an amazing cast for ‘A Wine Country Christmas’ bringing this uplifting story to life. For audiences, it’ll be another warm holiday with a wine country feel.”

“A Wine Country Christmas” is expected to be released during the upcoming holiday season, with Warner Bros. handling film distribution via the studio’s licensing department.

In addition to Davidson, Noelle, Swickard and Rodriguez, the movie’s cast also includes Omar Gooding (“Deadwood, Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac”), Carly Jibson (“The Guest Book,” “Atypical”), Julian Rangal (“The Good Doctor”), and newcomer Carlos Solòrzano.

Alex Ranarivelo is directing from a script by Cecília Franco and David Zanardi. Afshar, Christina Moore and Daniel Aspromonte are producing, with Charley DeBenedetti as the executive producer.

  3. Michael Graziadei, Lauren Carey, The Talk, #TheTalk, The Young and the Restless, Young & Restless, Young and Restless, Y&R, #YR, #YoungandRestless

On the Tuesday, March 21 episode of “The Talk,” Michael Graziadei appeared alongside his co-stars Camryn Grimes, Bryton James and Christel Khalil from “The Young and the Restless” as part of the ongoing 50th anniversary celebration for their show. In a surprise move, Graziadei proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Carey, who accepted without hesitation.

In the lead-up to the proposal, co-host Amanda Kloots noted that Lauren was in the audience and how the two share twin boys, Arlo and Oliver (aka Bear). Then she asked his co-stars which of them got to meet the bundles of joy, to which Khalil and James confirmed they had, and in fact, part of their meeting the tikes led to early conversations of Graziadei coming back to the soap on a full-time basis. “They are adorable. Lauren is fantastic, and I’m glad it all worked out,” said James of meeting the happy family.

After teasing him about how the secret of his return to the show was far from a secret from the rest of the show’s cast, co-host Natalie Morales pointed out how Graziadei is full of surprises, and she thought he might have just one more in the bag.

Handing things over to Graziadei, the actor shared that it was Lauren’s birthday the day prior, and he wondered if he could bring her on stage for what he was about to do. After initial hesitation, she took his hand and stood as he began telling their love story to the audience. “This is my beautiful girlfriend, Lauren. We’ve spent the better half of 10 years together…she’s given me beautiful twins, and I just wanted to do something special for your birthday. So I was thinking, you know, how there is no one on this earth that I would rather grow old and die with. So, I was wondering…if you would marry me? Is that a yes? She said yes!”

After all the smiles, claps and happy tears were shed, Lauren was handed a dozen roses, focused on Khalil and James and told them, “I guess I can thank you two for this because he can afford the ring now.” Co-host Akbar Gbajabiamila then asked her if she ever saw this coming, to which she responded, “I mean, it’s been 10 years, so I figured it was never going to happen.” As for how he was feeling, co-host Sheryl Underwood asked Graziadei that very question, and he jokingly said, “I have to pee.”

When asked how it feels to share such milestone moments with her fellow castmates, Grimes said, “We’ve been with each other through the good and the bad, the highs, the lows, break ups, you know, loses and marriages. You’re looking at it, you’re looking at the connectivity of a family, and we’re just so lucky that we get to be with each other every day.”

  4. Eric Braeden, Eva Longoria, The Young and the Restless, Y&R, Young and Restless, Young & Restless, #YR #YoungandRestless

During last night’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?” on CNN, former “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria appeared on the show to discuss her career, her causes and her new original series “Searching for Mexico.” During the career segment, host Chris Wallace played a clip of Longoria’s time on “The Young and the Restless” when she played Isabella Braña on the soap. Longoria’s comments about her experience on the series, particularly her working simultaneously as a headhunter and an actress on a daytime soap opera, have since led to controversy on social media.

After catching wind of what she said on the program, former co-star Eric Braeden called the actress out for her “derogatory remarks about daytime actors!” Braeden plays the iconic Victor Newman on “The Young and the Restless.”

“EVA LONGORIA: you just made derogatory remarks about daytime actors!” began Braeden on Twitter. “You simply weren’t good enough to survive the pressures of this medium! You were very lucky to get on that ‘housewife’ show! You did one show in 8-12 days, with mediocre but salacious dialogue!”

He added, “Our actresses would run rings around you!! And they did then!! From Robert [De Niro] to whoever they all are, many of them started in the medium you denigrate! It shows a complete lack of class!!

Doug Davidson, Eva Longoria, The Young and the Restless, Y&R, Young and Restless, Young & Restless, #YR #YoungandRestless
    Courtesy of CBS

On the CNN program, Wallace shocked Longoria when he said, “You got your first break 20 years ago when you were cast on a very popular soap opera, “The Young and the Restless.” He then prepared to introduce a clip of Longoria on the soap to which she replied while laughing, “Are you going to show a clip of that?” Longoria then braced for a stroll down memory lane as Wallace stated, “Would I do that?” Longoria continued laughing as the clip began, showing her as Isabella in a scene with her former co-star Doug Davidson, who portrayed Paul Williams on the soap at the time. The clip finds Longoria’s Isabella telling Davidson’s Paul that Christine (Lauralee Bell) is dead as the two struggle to get a knife out of Isabella’s hands.

After the clip played, a still laughing Longoria told Wallace, “I can’t believe you found that!” In response, Wallace said, “So what I find so interesting, though, is that you were so determined not to be a struggling actress that at the same time that you have this part on a big soap opera, you’re working as a headhunter for a temp agency out of your dressing room in the studio.”

Longoria confirmed the story, saying, “Yeah, yeah. When I moved to Hollywood, I had my bachelor’s degree. And so when I tell my mom I’m going to be an actress, she was like, well – she was fine because I had graduated college. Like as long as I finished college. And so I knew I could get a job. I was like, ‘I’ll get a  job.’ And I went to a temp agency and they hired me.” She pointed out, “I was so good at it that when I got ‘Young and the Restless,’ it didn’t pay enough for me to live off being an actor. So I continued being a headhunter and Young and the Restless.’ And I would hide the fact I was on Young and the Restless to my clients because they didn’t want, like, a dumb actress handing their accounts.” Longoria then recalled an experience where she was almost outed by one of her clients for being on the daytime soap.

“One time one of my clients was like, ‘You look like a girl that I’ve seen on a soap opera.’ And I go, ‘No, that’s not – I don’t know who that – I was like the opposite of a publicist’s dream. I was like, ‘don’t tell anybody I’m on that show. Because I was, you know, still making more money on my day job.”

Since Braeden’s tweets went viral, thousands of people have taken sides, interpreting Longoria’s comments the same way Braden did as demeaning to daytime actors while others understood Longoria’s comments as nothing more than a burgeoning actress not wanting her two jobs to interfere with one another. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below.

Meanwhile, catch Longoria’s new series, “Eva Longoria: Searching for Mexico” which premieres Sunday, March 26 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on CNN.

  5. Casa Grande, #CasaGrande

Created by Lauren Swickard (“A California Christmas”) and Ali Afshar (“He’s Just Not That Into You”), Amazon Freevee has landed the exclusive U.S. streaming rights to “Casa Grande,” a “Yellowstone”-esque but bilingual, neo-Western limited series which follows the everyday realities and conflicts between California’s hardworking, often undocumented migrant workforce and the wealthy landowners who reap the profits. All five one-hour episodes will premiere Monday, May 1 on the streaming service.

In a statement, Afshar, who also has a starring role in the series, says, “We molded ‘Casa Grande’ as a Hispanic-influenced ‘Yellowstone’ and feel the story will resonate powerfully with audiences appreciating elevated western themes and cultures presented through a different prism. Amazon Freevee is the perfect service for audiences to discover and binge the world of ‘Casa Grande’ where the intensity never lets up and the traditional good vs. evil trope becomes skewed and more challenging to accept.”

“I’m immensely proud of the ‘Casa Grande’ team for bringing authenticity to the forefront in ESX Entertainment’s debut series,” added Swickard. “Now more than ever, it’s important to deliver powerful, genuine stories and ‘Casa Grande’ does just that. By touching on real-life themes related to family, class, culture and the never-ending pursuit of the American dream, our multi-layered narrative will captivate audiences of all backgrounds.”

Intertwining the lives of various families in the farmlands of Northern California, “Casa Grande” is described as an upstairs/downstairs story transposed from turn-of-the-century English countryside to rural America. The show uses the framework of conventional character drama to explore universal themes of class, immigration, culture and family.

The grand theme is peels back the curtain on how the machine we all live in runs: The glimmering, upper-crust culture could not exist without the unyielding, backbreaking, labor of the socially invisible migrant workforce laboring behind the scenes. With the Clarkman Farm and its neighboring property, Dalton Farm, employing, housing and feeding much of Mendocino County’s undocumented immigrants, “Casa Grande” explores the dramatic, truth of our country’s allure for immigrants and what mankind will endure for a taste of the American dream.

The series cast includes John Pyper-Ferguson (“The 100,” “Suits”), Christina Moore (“That ‘70s Show,” “90210”), Madison Lawlor (“Juniper”), Karen Bethzabe (“Babylon”), Javier Bolaños (“All American”), Raquel Dominguez (“Chicago Med”), James Marsters (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer”), Emmy-winner Kate Mansi (“Days of our Lives”), Daniel Edward Mora (“Coco”), Loren Escandon (“The Baxters”) and the aforementioned Afshar.

“Casa Grande” is directed by award-winning Latin filmmaker Gabriela Tagliavini (“Despite Everything”) and written by Alex Ranarivelo, Michael Cruz, and Swickard, who also serves as the series showrunner. Series executive producers are Ava Rettke and Daniel Aspromonte.

Known for its popular holiday hits on Netflix and HBO Max, including “A California Christmas,” “I Believe in Santa,” “Holiday Harmony” featuring Brooke Shields, and “A Christmas Mystery” starring Violet McGraw (“M3gan”), “Casa Grande” marks the first television series from Afshar’s ESX Entertainment.

Amazon Freevee is a streaming video service with thousands of premium movies and TV shows available within Prime Video and through the standalone Freevee app on Fire TV, Fire tablets and many third-party devices.

  6. Julianne Hough, Alfonso Ribeiro, Dancing with the Stars, #DWTS

Already renewed for a 32nd season following last year’s surprise move of the hit series to Disney+ after airing for 30 seasons on ABC, “Dancing with the Stars” will be back this fall with several key changes on the horizon.

First up: Tyra Banks is out as host of the competition series. According to TMZ, Banks plans to pursue her passion as an entrepreneur.

Starting with Season 29, Banks replaced perennial host Tom Bergeron as part of ABC’s attempt at diversifying the show’s production in order to gain viewers. After two seasons by herself, Season 19 Mirrorball winner Alfonso Ribeiro stepped in as the show’s co-host. His duties included interviewing the celebrities and their dance partners before and after their televised performances.

According to published reports, Ribeiro will become the show’s new emcee, with veteran pro dancer Julianne Hough stepping in as co-host, assuming  Ribeiro’s previous responsibilities. Winning two trophies during her tenure, Hough spent three seasons as a permanent judge on the show and was a judge on “America’s Got Talent” for one season.

Season 31 of “Dancing with the Stars” saw the departures of Len Goodman as the show’s head judge and Cheryl Burke as a dance pro. Goodman had been with the series since it began in 2005. Burke spent 26 seasons on the program, winning the coveted trophy in Seasons 2 and 3.Starting with Season 32, the panel of judges is expected to consist of returning judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough.

“Dancing with the Stars” was reportedly moved to Disney+ as a key measure for Disney-owned ABC to showcase several “Monday Night Football” games as part of a new pact with the NFL. Additionally, the series had become a money loser in recent years following a fall in ratings during its latter seasons on the network. In addition to football, ABC is looking to invest in new and future long-term programming for its Monday night schedule.

  7. Chandra Wilson, Yvette Nicole Brown, Grey's Anatomy, Community, General Hospital, GH, GH ABC, #GH, #GeneralHospital

With “General Hospital” preparing to kick off its 60th anniversary celebration in the coming weeks, the series will welcome back “Grey’s Anatomy” star Chandra Wilson as red carpet correspondent Sydney Val Jean. Meanwhile, “Community” star Yvette Nicole Brown will be on hand for a special episode of the soap that honors the life of Sonya Eddy, the beloved actress who died on December 19 following complications from a surgical procedure she had undergone days prior. Eddy had portrayed head nurse Epiphany Johnson on the daytime drama series since March 2006.

Episodes featuring Wilson will air during the week of April 3 when the Nurses Ball marks its return following a two-year absence – the result of real-life events preventing the show’s entire cast from being in close proximity with each other for an extended period. Photos featuring Wilson on the red carpet are currently available via TVLine.

The Nurses Ball is an annual event put together by General Hospital nurses to bring HIV/AIDS awareness. The event was first introduced in 1994 and has been emceed by Lucy Coe (played by Lynn Herring) more than a dozen times.

The special episode dedicated to Eddy will air on Wednesday, March 29. Brown’s role is currently being kept under wraps, but her appearance is noteworthy as she and Eddy had been real-life friends for decades.

“I first met @sonyaeddy back in 2003 when we both were testing for the sitcom #TheBigHouse. From that moment on she became a dear friend of mine. I collected her,” said Brown in an Instagram post following news of Eddy’s passing.

“Sonya, @octaviaspencer, @thecurvycritic and I walked with each other thru the “salad” days of our careers. Supporting each other as we chased this dream. Often auditioning for the same things, always celebrating whoever won the gig. Sonya was a force. She was unapologetically joyous and a loyal friend. The world lost a real one last night. @generalhospitalabc will never be the same without her and none of us who knew and loved her will be either. Thanks @dionimichellecollins for all you did. You took good care of our friend. Rest well, Sonya  #RIPSonyaEddy.

TV Insider first reported Brown’s casting.

  11. Outside of the acquired series "Yellowstone," only Peacock's newest show, "Poker Face," and "The Best Man: The Final Chapters" have been able to crack the Nielsen Top 10 in terms of streaming originals. The rest have either been canceled or are in their second seasons (see "Bel-Air"). Thus far, we don't know actual numbers for any streaming exclusive program beyond Nielsen's Top 10 list. Additionally, each streamer can claim success for their shows any way they want, but only Nielsen and Netflix release any specifics.

Otherwise, Peacock stating for the first time in a PR that "DAYS" is a consistent Top 10 show marks the only real data we have on how the show performs on the service. Hence, two-year renewal.

  12. Days of our Lives, DAYS, DOOL, #DAYS, #DOOL, #DaysofourLives

Peacock has renewed “Days of our Lives” for two additional seasons, keeping the daytime drama series in production through a historic 60th anniversary season.

According to the service, since the show’s move last September to become the only streaming exclusive daily serial in the United States, “Days of our Lives” has been a consistent top 10 title on Peacock, making the renewal a no-brainer for the Corday Productions produced series in association with Sony Pictures Television.

In November, Soap Opera Network had heard rumblings of a renewal being on the horizon, with another two-year deal likely. This has now been confirmed with today’s announcement. The previous deal, announced in May 2021, gave the show its first multi-year pickup in over a decade.

Ken Corday is the show’s executive producer, with Albert Alarr continuing as co-executive producer. Ron Carlivati continues to serve as the show’s head writer.

Since its launch on November 8, 1965, “Days of our Lives” has received 61 Daytime Emmy Awards, including its most recent win in 2022 for Outstanding Writing for a Daytime Drama. To date, the show has received 392 Daytime Emmy nominations, multiple People’s Choice Awards, GLAAD Media Awards and Prism Awards.

Viewers can look forward to seeing a deep dive into the legacy of “The Young and the Restless” storylines, including epic romances, the show’s biggest feuds and rivalries, iconic weddings, famous alumni and groundbreaking moments that have made their mark in pop culture.

Additional footage featured is a behind-the-scenes studio tour, a look at the show’s massive wardrobe collection and special remembrances to beloved cast members Jeanne Cooper and Kristoff St. John, who died in 2013 and 2019, respectively. Luke & Laura got a 6-page spread. Gross.  Disgusting.  I hate this.   People magazine only cares about clicks/purchases.   And the show wants hype.
They don't care that this pairing was foul.

A 2023 lens on the show isn’t the same as the 1980s or the 1970s. Things were different. We can hate it for what it was today but back then it was molded into a love story. Clearly, Genie hated it but ultimately it did save the show and made her a household name. The behind the scenes stuff we won’t really know fully until she chooses to fully talk about it, likely in a book as she’s recently said, but she hasn’t even begun getting started on that. Plus, there’s several sides to behind the scenes stories. We’ll never know Gloria Monty’s side.

They can do so many interesting things on a streaming service. Instead of the same tired lame nonsense. But knowing Days they will probably stick with same tired lame nonsense.   @ErrolDo you know when will the Peacock made episodes start streaming? I'm dying to see the difference.

@TonksadoraNo disrespect Donna but i didn't want the reply from you. While no one is of course obligated to reply. It's does suck to be left hanging. While others are replied too.

Not sure if the second part is directed at me, but if so I don’t ignore people and their posts. If it looks like that, I don’t do it on purpose.

That said, I’m waiting on information on that particular piece of information and will hopefully have an answer soon. To be clear, I’m talking about written and produced for Peacock, not simply episodes produced after it was known episodes going forward would be aired exclusively on Peacock and were therefore edited to be longer.

Thank you. That does not show me what, for example, the top 5 peacock shows are. It just shows me that YELLOWSTONE is Peacock's #1, which is something that they've said. What I would give anything for is to see even Peacock's top 5. Sorry to be a downer on that.

Speaking of Yellowstone, the show just got canceled.

Depending on how one considers itself #1, sure “Days of our Lives” is tops on Peacock. However, according to Nielsen, “Yellowstone” is officially the most watched show currently on Peacock.

RSW could mean “DAYS” is the most watched original series on Peacock, or the most watched Peacock original series, but technically the streaming service has yet to brand the soap as an “original series.” The Peacock Original label is no where to be found on the show’s official logo and, unless I’m mistaken, the credits have yet to state it as such.

tvseasonspoilers is among several other supposed soap sites that keep popping up in order to allegedly take advantage of US readers who make up the bulk of online advertising dollars. Google gives revenue preference to websites that have large (80% or higher) US and UK based readers, hence the influx of sites covering American soaps that include a lot of misinformation in their articles. This is also happening on YouTube en masse.

I should point out the origin of a lot of these websites is from India.

Friday and today’s beyond salem/heaven/devil/whatever this SL is called scenes could have been combined. All the back and forth over selling souls and speaking to the manager dialogue was USELESS!!! At this point, I am hoping these ladies are in medically induced comas and having the same dream and their husbands are really out looking for a final permanent solution to help them and Rex is monitoring the ladies. Then it can tie into them coming across Hope and Bo and all the other stuff from the promos over the last couple of months. Because this SL is giving me major MELASWEN vibes except with the devil and a pace that the tortoise can beat.

Watching Abigail Klein on this show is sooo weird to me because I know her from Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the team and it’s hard to get into her playing Stephanie.

Idk when I grew to dislike Julie but the going on about missing Nick was getting on my last nerve and the great beyond(there’s another name for the SL lol) chewed up the rest of that.

I need some positive and I mean long term positive stuff from this show. Are these still NBC episodes or are they now on Peacock episodes? I want Days to throw up the middle fingers, bust them pens wide open and get away from the same SLs same characters and bring that some fresh material to this show.

The episodes currently airing were taped just before, during or slightly after the move to Peacock news came out. The official Peacock episodes are those that were written specifically with Peacock as the show’s official American home. These episodes are not that. They are still episodes written for NBC but airing on Peacock.

  20. To further add, other than “Yellowstone,” Peacock has only ever highlighted the success of “Bel-Air” and “The Best Man: The Final Chapters” as successful series launches. To date, the streamer has yet to ever comment on the performance of “Days of our Lives” on the service.

Thus far, how the show is doing on the platform has been assumed by fans or commented on by actors. Nothing else, including my stating awhile back that the show was doing well enough to warrant a renewal and likely a two-year one at that.

This was at the TCA event where Deidre and RSW gave a ton of press interviews. They were there to promote DAYS for Peacock.  It was their job to hype the show.

I wonder who had "just sent" RSW the info?  Was it from a Peacock exec or DAYS producer? or was it from twitter or a fan?

Deidre and RSW did a lot of interviews that day (you can recognize them because Deidre is wearing the same outfit in them all).  They did interviews in person at the TCA event, and also Deidre did some interviews via video chat on various TV stations, etc.  I don't have the time/energy/inclination to look them all up.  I would be curious what they say in them all about how Days is faring on Peacock.

I'm going to follow up with this on Toups' ratings thread. I'll ask there if @Toups  or @Errol knows how it's determined how DAYS is doing on Peacock.

Depending on how one considers itself #1, sure “Days of our Lives” is tops on Peacock. However, according to Nielsen, “Yellowstone” is officially the most watched show currently on Peacock.

Finally found the article with RSW claiming Days as the #1 streaming show on peacock.

In a chat with TvLine, actor Robert Scott Wilson shared that Days of Our Lives has emerged as Peacock’s number-one streaming show. With the success that the soap has garnered post it’s move has ensured that the head honchos of Peacock will remain invested in DOOL. In the beginning, when the former NBC soap started streaming online, the only thing that was different was the soap’s address. The whole story and vibe of the sudser remained unchanged. This was largely due to the fact that the episodes are filmed months in advance. Thus, they were NBC episodes that were streaming on Peacock.

Several stars of Days of Our Lives spoke to Soaps.com about their experience regarding the shift. Additionally, they also hinted at what the future holds for the iconic soap. Actor Stephen Nichols (Steve) shares that Peacock wants to keep the association going as the numbers are great. Thus, the cast and crew of the soap is not worried about their future on the project anymore. The soap is on Peacock to stay. He also pointed that the episodes that were originally filmed for NBC have already been streamed and a new round of filming will start.

Actress Tina Huang jumped in and exclaimed that it’s a fantastic thing. Now that Days of Our Lives is streaming online, it has opened the doors to so many things they couldn’t previously do. The new episodes will be filmed according to online streaming perspective. However, this does not necessarily mean it will be all crass and sex and drugs. The soap can now touch upon sensitive topics that they didn’t earlier. Honestly, even for NBC, the soap already discussed abortion and showed a threesome. That’s pretty bold on its own. So we genuinely can’t wait to find out what could come next.

Actress Stacy Haiduk pointed out that the upcoming storylines would be a little edgier on Days of Our Lives. However, the changes won’t be overnight. It will be a slow and smooth transition. Dan Feuerriegel (EJ) jumped in with a joke that in two years’ time, the soap would be like Euphoria. But thankfully, Camila Banus (Gabi) quickly cleared the air that Dan was just joking and that would never happen. Dan got all serious and shared that the changes would be small and subtle. For instance, he used to swear words in one of the episodes that he wouldn’t on NBC.

Despite the move to online streaming platform Peacock, the stars of the soap believe Days of Our Lives will retain its essence and not turn into something unrecognizable. However, Kyle Lowder (Rex) pointed that online shows are full of swearing and sex scenes, so we can expect to see Days of Our Lives get a little more racier than before! But other than that all remains the same. Family values, love stories and everything. They don’t want to alienate the fanbase. Well these little changes sound really exciting and we are eagerly waiting to see them play out on screen! Are you excited for the changes too? Tell us in the comments. Meanwhile, stay tuned to Days Of Our Lives, streaming exclusively on Peacock

Why are you quoting tvseasonsspoilers.com ?
Their article claims they were citing RSW in TVLine and also mentioned something from soaps.com.

But no.  I looked it up.  They were mentioning something RSW said on TVInsider (not TVLine).
As far as I can tell, TVLine hasn't interviewed RSW since before the switch to Peacock.

I found the TV Insider interview on youtube.  It's from Jan. 23.
It's one of the many interviews Deidre and RSW gave at the TCAs.
They were at the TCAs representing Peacock and DAYS.
RSW said "We're number one on Peacock, someone just sent me that".
RSW didn't say who sent it to him.
This is the TV Insider interview, from Jan. 23. He says it in the first minute:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YiS2YYVvXU

The tvseasonsspoilers.com article also mentioned a soaps.com interview with several cast about the switch to Peacock. but that interview was from Sept 6, 2022.
    https://soaps.sheknows.com/days-of-our-lives/news/645498/days-of-our-lives-cast-react-to-move-from-nbc-to-streaming-peacock/

(edit to correct myself, it was Sept. 9, not Sept. 6).
