“The Bachelor: The Women Tell All” stood above the rest in Live+3 for Monday, March 18, 2024 in most key demographics despite airing at a later time. “The Voice” ranked #1 among Adults 25-54 while “An Oprah Special: Shame, Blame and the Weight Loss Revolution” was no slouch, ranking as the third highest-rated show across the night in most demographics and placing second overall among Total Viewers, behind only the NBC singing competition series.
“Deal or No Deal Island” is quickly becoming one of the more stable performers following “The Voice,” giving NBC ample reason to continue with the show.
What follows is a breakdown of how the primetime broadcast shows performed in Live+3 among Total Viewers, Adults 18-49, Adults 25-54, Adults 18-34, Women 18-49 and Men 18-49 for Monday, March 18, 2024.

After three days of delayed viewing, ABC’s “9-1-1” was the most-watched program on television, beating out CBS Sports coverage of NCAA Basketball. While sports dominated in the key sales demographics, topping the list in every category, “Grey’s Anatomy” tied in for #1 in Women 18-49 with the 20-minute bridge between games on CBS, each with a 1.04 rating in key women.
The CW aired a second episode of “Son of the Critch” this week, improving or tying its first half-hour in most demo categories. Meanwhile, “Next Level Chef” is doing well for FOX. The same could not be said for “TMZ Investigates.”

After seven days of delayed viewership, ABC’s launch of “9-1-1” remains the network’s most-watched show among Total Viewers on Thursday nights, topping its lead outs “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Station 19.” However, in most key sales demographics, “Grey’s Anatomy” came out on top with the exception of Men 18-49 rating, where the FOX transplant firefighter series excelled above all the other broadcast shows airing that night.
“Law & Order: SVU” proved why it got renewed for a 26th season, ranking among the Top 5 highest-rated and most-watched shows on Thursday, March 14, 2024. In fact, the veteran series added the most viewers compared with its Live+3 performance, adding +404,000 viewers in Live+7. The show also added the most Adults 18-49 Viewers, with +96,000 gained from Live+3 to Live+7, and the biggest gain among Adults 18-49 rating, adding +0.08.
Oddly, an “Elsbeth” encore fell in every category compared to its initially reported Live+3 performance based on newly released Live+7 data, likely due to revisions and/or errors.

Here's a bit of irony: Colleen Bell (Brad Bell's wife) is the executive director of the California Film Commission.
Message from the Executive Director
Our Commitment to Growing California’s Film/TV Production Industry Has Never Been Stronger!
On July 10, 2023, Governor Newsom signed legislation to extend and expand California’s Film and TV Tax Credit Program for an additional five years through 2030-31. This decisive action will directly create an estimated 60,000 production jobs and $10 billion in related investment across the state.
The fourth-generation tax credit program (Program 4.0) demonstrates California’s commitment to retaining our status as the media production capital of the world. It is a vital and necessary tool to keep and grow production here at home, where it belongs.
In all, California’s Film and TV production industry supports well over 700,000 jobs and nearly $70 billion in wages for in-state workers. It is an economic engine that powers everything from production employment and tourism to our extraordinary creative spirit.
In addition to the five-year extension, Program 4.0 will make tax credits refundable, opening the program to a broader range of applicants and generating even more jobs, spending and opportunity. Another key aspect of Program 4.0 is its enhanced focus on workforce training, diversity and inclusion. Several expanded and new features will create opportunities for individuals from underserved communities. The goal is to help reduce economic, geographic and social barriers to career access and success. There are also specific policies for addressing harassment and increasing industry representation of women and monitories.
I’m proud to report that California is committed to offering the film/TV production industry the best value, as well as the best values.
The team here at the California Film Commission is ready to assist in making your next project a success!

Redding Munsell will be taking over the role of Harrison Abbott, beginning with the Friday, April 12 episode of “The Young and the Restless."
Munsell replaces Kellen Enriquez, who has played the son of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Tara Locke since May 2021.
Enriquez appeared for the final time in the role during the Wednesday, March 20 episode, a standalone episode of the daytime drama series in which Claire (Hayley Erin) imagines what life would have been like had she never been separated from the Newman family.
Redding appeared in the film, “Red, White, and Blue,” which was nominated this year for Best Live Action Short Film at the 96th Academy Awards. The film stars Brittany Snow (“Guiding Light,” “American Dreams”) as Rachel, a poor single mother who has to go out of state due to a change in American law preventing her from getting an abortion in her home state. Redding plays Jake, one of Rachel’s two children.
Redding will next appear opposite Sylvia Hoeks in the film, “Hurricanna.”

CBS returned to a full night of original programming on Friday, March 15, featuring all-new episodes of “S.W.A.T.,” “Fire Country” and “Blue Bloods.” All three shows were at the top of the charts among Total Viewers.
“WWE Smackdown” on FOX led in Adults 18-49 and most demographics, but CBS’ slate pulled ahead in Women 18-49. “Dateline” on NBC also outperformed the wrestling show in the women’s demographic. Of course, that’s not surprising considering the massive lead “Smackdown” had among Men 18-49.

The biennial D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is set to take place this year with another fun-filled weekend (August 9–11, 2024) that concludes with the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony, which honors artists and visionaries throughout the Walt Disney Company’s history who have pushed the envelope of creativity, challenged conventional wisdom, and broken the restraints of the status quo in search of new possibilities and excellence.
This year’s honorees include Kelly Ripa (“All My Children,” “Live with Kelly and Mark”), Angela Bassett (“What’s Love Got to Do With It,” “9-1-1”), Jamie Lee Curtis (“Halloween,” “Freaky Friday”), and Miley Cyrus (“Hannah Montana”), among others. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 11 at 5:00 p.m. PT from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
Ryan Seacrest, the host of American Top 40, as well as “American Idol” and “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” on ABC, will host the 2024 Disney Legends Awards Ceremony that will be filled with heartwarming tributes to each of the honorees, along with special guests, performances, “and a legendary production like no other,” Disney announced.
“To be named a Disney Legend is the highest honor our company can bestow on anyone, reserved for those whose talent and achievement have earned them an enduring place in our history,” said Bob Iger, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company. “The fourteen individuals to be honored as Disney Legends this year have each made extraordinary creative contributions across the worlds of Disney and we look forward to celebrating them at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.”
The Disney Legends program was established in 1987, the same year when Fred MacMurray (“The Shaggy Dog,” “The Absent-Minded Professor,” “The Happiest Millionaire”) was honored. “All My Children” icon Susan Lucci was honored with the prestigious Disney Legends Award in 2015.
In addition to Ripa, Bassett, Curtis and Cyrus, this year’s other honorees include Colleen Atwood, Martha Blanding, James L. Brooks, James Cameron, Steve Ditko, Harrison Ford, Mark Henn, Frank Oz, Joe Rohde, and John Williams. At 31, Cyrus is now the youngest honoree to ever be named a Disney legend.

All I was saying/referring to was that the ratings weren't for the week of March 11-15 2024.
I didn't mean to ruffle anyone's feathers with my post.
No one's feathers are ruffled. But keep in mind I never implied in this post that these were ratings for the week of March 11-15, 2024.
That said, the Daytime Broadcast ratings provide the clearest outlook of how the the soaps perform against their competition across daytime TV. The soap opera ratings provide the same, but how the soaps compete against each other in their respective genre/category. Same for News and Talk.
I'll have the week of March 11-15, 2024 posted shortly. Toups will also post his data soon as well.

As shown in Monday night’s finale of Investigation Discovery’s “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” which is now streaming on Max, former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell (“The Amanda Show,” “Drake & Josh”) recounts the time he attended the sentencing hearing for Brian Peck, his former dialogue coach who was convicted in 2004 for his crimes against Drake and ordered to register as a sex offender.
“It was a different time, so I think it was a little easier to go to and from a courthouse and not worry about Twitter that night or TMZ [paparazzi’s] being there,” Bell notes of the time period before the advent of social media and the immediacy for news and information from the masses. “I get to the courthouse [and] it was the most unbelievable thing I’d ever seen. His entire side of the courtroom was full…full. There were definitely some recognizable faces on that side of the room,” recalled Bell of sentencing day for Peck. “[On] my side was me, my mom and my brother. Brian had been convicted but getting all of this support from a lot of people in the industry. I was pretty shocked.”
“My mom got up. She had a statement. I wasn’t going to address Brian. There was no reason to. I addressed my statement to everyone in the room,” Bell continued. “I looked at all of them, and I just said, ‘How dare you?!’ And I said, ‘You will forever have the memory of sitting in this courtroom and defending this person, and I will forever have the memory of the person you are defending violating me and doing unspeakable things, acts and crimes, and that’s what I’ll remember.”
Uncovering the toxic and dangerous culture behind some of the most iconic children’s shows of the late 1990s and early 2000s, the four-part documentary “Quiet on Set” pulled back the curtain on an empire built by Dan Schneider, the man behind several hit shows that aired on Nickelodeon, including “The Amanda Show,” “Drake & Josh,” “Zoey 101,” “iCarly,” “Victorious” and “Danger Force,” among others.
The special featured unprecedented access to key cast members, parents of some of these cast members, writers, and crew spanning Schneider’s popular series across Nickelodeon, revealing an environment rife with allegations of abuse, sexism and racism.
According to a logline, the featured interviews, woven with archival footage (some of which has never been broadcast), included scenes from the shows and social media commentary, re-contextualized many moments within these series that may have seemed silly or off when first aired but now carry a much darker undertone, offering a powerful reframing of these beloved shows.
Produced by Maxine Productions and Sony Pictures Television – Nonfiction in association with Business Insider, “Quiet on Set” was directed by Mary Robertson and Emma Schwartz.

These are the ratings from last week. The new ones haven't been posted yet.
These are the Daytime Broadcast Ratings. Toups and I do separate reports. I haven't posted the Daytime Broadcast ratings in a few weeks because I have been working on securing additional ratings data behind the scenes, hence, why we now have the viewership numbers for Women 18-49 and Women 25-54. I've also been working on several behind-the-scenes projects for the site.
9 hours ago, TEdgeofNight said:Thank you for including the women 18-49 and 25-54 total viewers. Wow! Pathetic numbers overall and the decline over the last few years is astounding. To think that CBS gave a 4 year renewal to Y&R to reach 289,000 women 25-54, the supposed target audience. There are 330 million people in the USA and 289,000 of women 25-54 watch Y&R. The press release for Y&R’s renewal stated 3.5 million daily viewers but it was unclear how they derived that number. It obviously included more than live plus same day. If it included all the platforms (delayed viewing, on demand, Paramount), that is not a significant increase from the live plus same day numbers.
Season to date, Y&R is averaging 3.221 million Live+Same Day viewers. Therefore, the 3.5 million touted by CBS in the renewal press release is for Live+7 Day season to date figures, not inclusive of multiplatform viewing (Paramount+, CBS TVE -- CBS.com and the CBS App).
You can't use 330 million people in the US as a method to gauge viewership. The 330 million figure includes babies, not just adults. Additionally, Y&R's viewership in Women 25-54 is no bigger or smaller than any single primetime or streaming show.

Let's see how the show does when it isn't being preempted for sports/

“The Bold and the Beautiful” has cast actor Clint Howard as a mysterious man who will reportedly play a pivotal role in revealing clues to an important mystery.
According to Deadline, Howard began taping scenes today at the Television City-based studio in Hollywood, where the daytime soap opera is produced. The episodes will air on Friday, April 26 and Monday, April 29. His character’s name is Tom.
Howard is the younger brother of actor and director Ron Howard and has appeared in over 250 television shows and films throughout his decades-long career. In 2021, the brothers released “The Boys: A Memoir of Hollywood and Family,” a New York Times bestseller chronicling their rise from child stars to Hollywood staples. Clint even appeared in several episodes of the classic comedy series “The Andy Griffith Show,” where his brother played Opie Taylor throughout the show’s run.
One of Clint’s more recent credits includes playing Commander Buck Martinez in an episode of the Paramount+ original series “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” among other roles.
Celebrating its 37th anniversary later this week, “The Bold and the Beautiful” debuted March 23, 1987 on CBS and continues to rank among the most-watched shows in the world.
In the United States, the half-hour series is the fourth most watched daytime program and is the second highest-rated scripted daytime drama, only behind lead-in and sister soap “The Young and the Restless.”
Earlier this month, “The Bold and the Beautiful” received an extension on its most recent contract that will keep the series on CBS through at least the fall of 2025.
John McCook (Eric Forrester) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) are original cast members. Bradley P. Bell is the executive producer and head writer.
