19 Ways to be a good Democrat

I consider myself to be a centrist or a "Democratic Republican". I didn't take offense to anything Kwing said b/c I knew he wasn't trying to be malicious. Everyone's humor is different and we need to respect that.

Agreed...sometimes I do not find Hillary normal either but then again this administration makes Jeffrey Dohmer look normal :D

Regarding abortion, Devoted, I disagree. Abortion is LEGALLY "an issue of privacy and choice for the woman." That doesn't mean the Supreme Court's legal decision is right. I don't care if it's precedent. Any abortion -- i.e. killing a human being, because that's what it is -- is no different from killing a person outside of the womb. Should we say, for instance, that "murders are bound to happen, so let's make them a legally protected 'choice'" I wouldn't. I think not. Another problem is, I'm not sure many people have SEEN abortion. Google the word "abortion" and one will see what this practice really is all about. It's not about a woman's choice. It's about murder. Now, I would sumbit that the woman getting an abortion isn't cold and calculating, but I'd also believe that if women actually knew what happens -- actually see what happens -- in abortion, such as human beings whose clearly defined arms and legs are sucked and detached from their precious bodies, they'd realize this "choice" is a selfish decision that some feminists have lauded as moral just to get away with murder so they could have a childless lifestyle. Besides, if Roe is overturned (and I just have to believe that most Americans will soon wake up and realize that it should be), it wouldn't be changing a precedent so much as it will be returning to the precedent: that murder, in all instances, is illegal.

First of all, I welcome your inputs and perhaps we can agree to disagree on rights for the child...in some instances, I may agree or disagree with a woman's choice to terminate her pregnancy...but WHY should it be MY decision? What you do not understand about precedent is that, until a case is brought to the USSC regarding the decision of choice is up to me.

Abortion is not the same as murder....murder is premeditated and can also be with malice (2nd degree)-what my biggest issue is is with the interference of certain pro life groups such as The Roman Catholic Church-WHY should they have any say in what an actual HUMAN BEING should do-this is not an open and shut issue
