Members King
Well, I saw it today. I didn't get a chance to read the book. I liked it, but I didn't love it. I will elaborate tomorrow, if anyone cares.
Members King
Ok, well here are my thoughts. - I think the story relied a little too heavily on twists and shocks, and, as a result, the story suffered. - I disagree with those saying Sophie and Langdon had no on-screen chemistry. - I think the story was unnecessarily complicated. Some of those long historical/religios tirades they went on, well, IMO, not all of them applied, and the rest really did nothing but confuse me. Also, the dialogue of those historical recounts just came out ENTIRELY too fast. I couldn't absorb what was going on. But with that said, I do think it was Hanks' best role AND movie since Forest Gump. He's been disappointing me for years, and he finally didn't with Da Vinci! Haha. Yay. Also, loved the codebreaking/puzzle stuff. There should have been more.
