GH: Daytime veteran joins cast as political figure

Now, we're really getting somewhere! YES!!! However, I am under no illusion that Frank doesn't have his attachment thing, whatever it is, in place with Cameron but Heck, I can still dream of a bloodbath!!! Nina goes crazy. Kills both Willow & Drew & then offs herself, murder-suicide. Reason: Went Bat Shi* Crazy! Fans are so pleased that the cast is reduced by 3!!! If they only had a suggestion box, right?

Cosgrove will just be "there". He's a capable actor, but the last thing the show needs are more characters. Instead of hiring actors in roles that go nowhere and just never go away... (Looking at Wallow -- who should have been collateral damage as Dawn of Duh was ending)   or hiring actors that just stink and then giving them a contract <cough> Molly <cough>., maybe write off a bit of dead weight and write for characters that are already there.

Now if they could find a way to quickly drop Drew, Wallow, and Nina ( and Natalia) -- I could see more wiggle room.  If you want to stunt cast former daytimers, ring them in for a two - three  week story as a patient at the hospital like they used to do back in the day.
