Webmaster Errol Posted March 20 Webmaster Share Posted March 20 Hosted by actress and comedian Sherri Shepherd, Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury today announced that it has renewed “Sherri” (aka “The Sherri Shepherd Show”) for a fourth season, clearing more than 95% of U.S. television households, with the FOX Television Stations, Nexstar, Hearst, Sinclair, Gray, Tegna and Sunbeam among the broadcast groups bringing back the nationally syndicated daytime talk show to their fall lineups for the 2025-26 television season. “‘The Sherri Shepherd Show’ remains a lynchpin of our daytime lineup. We’re very happy to be bringing it back,” said Frank Cicha, Executive Vice President of Programming, FOX Television Stations. “‘Sherri’ will continue to provide stations with the quality original first-run daily programming they need to succeed in daytime,” said Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus. “Over the past three seasons, the show has proven its value to stations and advertisers, with Sherri Shepherd as the only single-host comedian on daytime TV able to deliver her audience a much-needed daily dose of laughs. We thank our great broadcast partners for continuing to make Sherri a foundational element of their lineups.” “I don’t take it for granted that people welcome me into their homes daily,” said Shepherd on the renewal, which she also announced to her studio audience and viewers at home during Thursday’s live broadcast. “I work so hard to bring escapism to viewers’ lives through joy, laughter and inspiration, and I’m grateful that the audience has embraced what we do. I look forward to raising the bar and turning up the volume as we plan for our season four return.” Coming off of a strong performance in February, the series ranked second in Nielsen’s metered markets among all syndicated talkers, representing a +33% rise from the show’s performance in November 2024 in the key Women 25-54 sales demographic. On a national level, “Sherri” ranked third overall, rising +17% vs. November and achieving a season high during the week of February 17-21, 2025. Produced and distributed by Debmar-Mercury, the talk show is taped live from New York City’s Chelsea Studios in front of a studio audience. Watch Shepherd announce the renewal to her audience below.
