Ken Jennings, Jeopardy

Production on game show “Jeopardy!” is paused this week due to the L.A. Wildfires, reports Deadline.

According to the outlet, the show was to shoot a handful of episodes on Wednesday and Friday but will reschedule for yet-to-be-determined dates. Meanwhile, production for the next batch of episodes after this week’s postponement had previously been set for Monday, January 27 but it’s too early to determine if the series will move forward with that date.

The news comes as production on “After Midnight” and “The Price is Right” remains suspended due to the fires, with the understanding that the shows are seeking to protect both the cast and crew along with their live audiences from the fires taking place in the Palisades, Malibu, Altadena and Pasadena neighborhoods.

Hosted by Ken Jennings, “Jeopardy!” is produced by Sony Pictures Television with CBS Media Ventures distributing domestically and Paramount Global Content Distribution handling things internationally. The show tapes out of Sony’s Culver City lot.
