Webmaster Errol Posted August 20, 2024 Webmaster Share Posted August 20, 2024 Jökull Júliusson, lead singer of the Icelandic rock band Kaleo, is set to appear in an upcoming episode of “The Bold and the Beautiful.” According to Deadline, Júliusson taped his scenes on Monday, August 19, and will appear as himself in the Friday, September 27 episode of the CBS daytime drama series. Júliusson will also perform one of his hit songs, “Way Down We Go,” in the episode. Júliusson’s road to “The Bold and the Beautiful” comes after previously being approached about a cameo appearance by the show’s supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk last year while the two were attending an Andrea Bocelli concert in Italy – Júliusson performed at the concert. Viewers will recall that Bocelli himself also appeared on the soap in the June 26, 2023 episode wherein Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), with the help of her friend, Veronica Bocelli (real-life wife of Andrea, appearing as herself), arranged a surprise for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) with a special live performance of Bocelli’s famous hit song, “A Te.” In addition to taping scenes on “The Bold and the Beautiful,” Júliusson will remain in the Los Angeles area for a little longer as he’s a guest on the Tuesday, August 20 episode of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” He is also set to perform with his band to a sold out show at The Troubadour in West Hollywood on Wednesday, August 21. News of just Júliusson’s appearance on “The Bold and the Beautiful” follows last week’s featured performance by actor/singer Michael Damian, who appeared as his Danny Romalotti character from sister soap “The Young and the Restless” alongside co-star Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair). In addition to interacting with the Forresters, among others, Damian also performed his hit song “Rock On.” Check out music from Kaleo, including “Way Down We Go,” below.
