“ A very inquisitive guest swung by Port Charles today,” read the caption on posts published across the show’s official social media pages on Tuesday. “We can’t wait for you to see what @ThePerezHilton has in store for #GeneralHospital. Stay tuned!”
“Such an honor!!! THANK YOU!!!” commented Hilton on X (formerly Twitter) in response to the show’s post, which included a behind-the-scenes photo that shows Hilton in a hot pink blazer as he’s seen pointing at studio camera number 4 that has the official “Perez Hilton” blog logo adjoined to its left side.
In a separate post, Hilton shared the news with his thousands of followers, saying, “Surprise!!! @GeneralHospital !!! ACTING! Such an honor! On this iconic show!!!”

Hilton’s visit to Port Charles marks the second time he’s appeared on a daytime drama series since making a name for himself in Hollywood with his popular celebrity gossip site. He previously appeared in two episodes of “The Bold and the Beautiful” as Reverend Murphy, who officiated the 2016 wedding between Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer, now appearing as Lois on “General Hospital”).
In addition to the two soaps, Hilton has also appeared in numerous other television productions, including “Glee,” “90210,” “Dirt” and “Hot in Clevland.” He’s also done several reality shows, such as “Celebrity Big Brother,” “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List,” and even “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF.”
