Gio to M.J.S: Michael, this is Trina Robinson and her dad Curtis Ashford. He owns the Savoy.
Curtis: Michael James Scott, it is a pleasure to meet you.
MJS to Curtis: Very nice to meet you, as well. Your place is gorgeous. P.S., your sound system kicks ass.
Curtis: Well, I'm glad, because we wanted to do you justice.
Gio (gesturing toward Trina), says to MJS: And Trina is also a ridiculously talented singer herself.
MJS to Trina: Oh, have you performed here?
Trina to MJS: Oh, no. The Savoy is, like, way out of my league.
Gio to MJS: Not true! She's awesome.
Trina: Well, maybe when I'm not riddled with nerves.
MJS: Oh, listen, everybody gets nervous. You'll get a handle on it.
Trina: Oh, thank you. And thank you so much for coming here. We're so excited to have you. And I saw you in Aladdin last September. And you were amazing in it.
MJS: Ah.
Gio: Oh stop. You're going to make his head too big to fit in that lamp.
MJS: Don't listen to him. I accept any and all compliments with extreme humility.
Trina: As you should.
Curtis: Well, if there is anything that you need, you just let me know and we'll make it happen.
MJS: Thank you. I'm thrilled to be here.
Curtis: Tonight's going to be a great night.
