Returning for all-new episodes after a multi-week break, “Saturday Night Live” returns to NBC with all-new episodes kicking off 2024 on Saturday, January 20 with actor Jacob Elordi making his hosting debut. Elordi currently stars in the award-nominated films “Priscilla” and “Saltburn.”

Set to join Elordi as a musical guest will be singer/actress Reneé Rapp, also making her “Saturday Night Live” debut. Rapp’s discography has amassed over 568 million streams and she is currently starring in the film “Mean Girls,” in theaters now.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, January 27, actress Dakota Johnson returns to host “SNL” for the second time. Johnson stars as the titular character in “Madame Web,” hitting theaters February 14.

Justin Timberlake will take the stage for his fifth solo musical guest appearance during Johnson’s episode. The Emmy and Grammy Award-winning performer and singer-songwriter has previously hosted the popular late-night show in 2009 and 2011 and pulled double duty as host and musical guest in 2003, 2006 and 2013. He first appeared on the show in 2000 when he and his bandmates from *NSYNC performed in an episode hosted by “Dawson Creek” star Joshua Jackson.

“SNL” is set to air an original episode on Saturday, February 3 with guests to be announced.

Check out promo clips from Elordi and Rapp’s upcoming “SNL” episode below.

Produced in association with Broadway Video, “Saturday Night Live” is broadcast live on Saturday nights at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC and is available to stream live on Peacock. Viewers can now also stream every season of “SNL” on Peacock. Lorne Michaels is the show’s creator and executive producer.

    • To be honest...I don't think it is her physical appearance that gives her a toothy look..I think its her  "Hello everyone...I'm a child STAR!!!! Aint I precious" and that smile she has plastered on her face during...every scene....I really think its more the directors fault...(I didnt notice any toothy smiles when she came back as an adult for that one day...) But it also could be the writing...any LOWHAD scenes should have been off limits to diabetic viewers. I think it really goes to show how lucky we were to have RM and BB as kid actors...they really went against that whole "Cutie pie" child actor thing and seemed real. What was with PG and the stupid island fetish they had? Though seeing Zimmer and Wyndham one upping each other would have been great.
    • Larry Wolek had the worst luck with Karens, lol.
    • I'm watching an episode of Another World from 1990, and Rachel Cory is in San Cristobal searching for the truth about Mac past While in San Cristobal, wonder if Prince Richard will invite the esteemed Mrs. Mackenzie Cory to dinner at the palace. Or maybe Rachel might stumble onto a wet Reva Lewis washed up on the San Cristobal beaches.
    • I was bummed at the time.  AMC had 3 books going so far as the introductions of Brooke and Dona Beck.  I think GH had 2 books.  I was anticipating more OLTL.  My guess is that they did not sell well.
    • Shame that's the only one. It would've been great to see Viki/Niki or Carla Grey books
    • Today's episode was sad

Roman sitting with Kayla, thanking John for raising his kids… and Josh saying goodbye to a lifelong friend - total tearjerker . Can’t wait to see Carrie, Sami, Hope, and Jennifer comforting Marlena. Bo and Marlena’s reunion is going to be so emotional. I guess because of the long-time rift between Deidre and Suzanne, we won’t get any Marlena and Maggie scenes? That’s really too bad. Maggie should be there.
    • Of course! It's a lot to compile, with every Tom, Dick, and Harry credited, but it's fun!

    • So far, Canada has been one day ahead for six episodes. @Toups @Errol  any official word on this? MVJ commented to a viewer on twitter:   from @iammskye1 I demand to be put in the same schedule with the Canadian #BeyondTheGates viewers. If that means dropping us two episodes in one day, one aired live and one on streaming, do what you gotta do, lol. They ain’t bout to be out here outdoing us.   Michele Val Jean @MicheleValJean June 2, 2025 I hate this too. It really screws with the way we construct reveals if one batch of viewers is ahead of the rest. Very frustrating. #BeyondThe Gates #BTG https://x.com/MicheleValJean/status/1929742526107603321   from @iammskye1  Thank you for acknowledging our pain.
