I only catch Days here and there these days, I guess I have been fortunate to miss the Body and Soul episodes.

Shawn is never on so why should I care about this story?

Days stories are either done at warp speed or at a snail pace with so many missing beats.

Who are some primetime stars from successful series that couldn't follow through with their subsequent efforts?
Who managed several hits over the years?
Who kept plugging away and managed mini comebacks along the way?
Let's examine the trajectory of some of TV's most well known stars.
James Arness.
After a 20 year run on Gunsmoke, he came back a few seasons later with How the West was Won. It was a sort of mini series and did well. But in 1981 he was lured back to NBC for McClain's Law and it bombed against Dallas before being shuffled around to no ratings improvement. That was it for Jim.
Angie Dickinson
Policewoman was a 4 season hit but her alone series follow up Cassie& Co was a dud.

Well, originally it was written as deliberate. Or if not deliberate, at least reckless and self-serving on Craig's part.
Yes, after she went to Switzerland in a coma, got better and returned to town, this time scheming with Craig to separate Paul and Meg. She then goes comatose again after failing to get Paul back. Then she shows up on a cooperative in some remote bumpkin-ville. She said she didn't bother telling her sister she emerged from the coma because she didn't want to be a part of her former life anymore, or some such BS. It's right around the time Carly became a drunk, and then Ro falls into bed with Craig (who is now Carly's fiancé.)

When he hosted SNL in 1982, they had a running gag of him trying to impersonate Burt Reynolds and how he wasn't famous in his own right. I thought, "Well, he's famous enough for you to ask him to host..."

It must have been right around that period when he died, maybe a little after. So many people came and went. I am trying to remember if she was the one in the episode where Courtney was subject to a car bomb or whatever went on. That was later in 1993.

Unfortunately, I think that's what happened, lol.
Say what you will about Douglas Marland, but his ATWT was never as off-the-rails as all that. Heck, even the lowest points of Mary-Ellis Bunim's run as EP were more watchable than most or all of Chris Goutman's regime.

Was she on ATWT before or after Marland died? It was all apart of the Kinglsey-Malta story, right? Her husband was Duncan's partner in something. But I think it was before Damian came to town, and she blamed the Grimaldis? Not that that went anywhere really either. But it was nice seeing her again.
Trish really belonged in Springfield.
