The fifth season “Tamron Hall” is set to premiere Tuesday, September 5, ABC News announced today via TheWrap.

Continuing to rank among the Top 5 strongest syndicated talk shows in Total Viewers (1.065 million — No. 5) this season, “Tamron Hall” has, on average, improved over the same weeks last season by double-digits in Total Viewers (+10% – 1.065 million vs. 968,000) and Women 25-54 (+10% – 177,000 vs. 161,000).

During the week of May 29, 2023, “Tamron Hall” improved on the year-ago week in Total Viewers (+9% – 995,000 vs. 916,000), Women 25-54 (+14% – 148,000 vs. 130,000) and Women 18-49 (+5% – 111,000 vs. 106,000). In fact, “Tamron Hall” improved on the year-ago week in Total Viewers in 32 of the last 33 weeks.

According to TheWrap via Nielsen, “Tamron Hall” has outrated freshman talker “Sherri” nine times in the last 11 weeks among Total Viewers. With its 1.065 million viewer average for the season, “Tamron Hall” beats the averages of “Sherri” (1.062 million)  and veteran “Rachael Ray” (1.001 million), the latter of which is ending its run after 17 seasons.

“Tamron Hall” continues to top the averages of freshman talk shows “The Jennifer Hudson Show” (894,000 viewers)  and “Karamo” (542,000 viewers).

Featuring a dynamic mix of live and taped shows, “Tamron Hall” is produced by ABC News and is distributed in national syndication by Disney Entertainment. The show broadcasts from New York City and is executive produced by Tamron Hall and Quiana Burns.

    • I picked a random episode from the beginning of November. Visually the show does look great. I was shocked to see quite the love scene between Claire and Holden. The LA bar set looks fantastic and there were EXTRAS! Still not a lot of characters featured in the episode. Liked some of the new music cues.
    • I saw the Lull scenes on X today. Why did they paint Lunacy into a corner? LY has been a gift to the show. Unless she's moving on, I don't get it. So Brad takes Luna out of the show and leaves us with Will, Electra, Remy and Deke for the younger set?

    • Even on mute, it looked all kinds of ewwwww to me.    That said...BILLY FLYNN though. MMMMmmm. I was not expecting all of that under those saggy clothes.
    • I feel like they finally noticed in the viewing and online opinion that Dani and Andre are where the lightning in the bottle is FINALLY, SORRY, ASHLEY and started to run with it.   That said...I do still worry because it's clear MVJ wants to play Dani/Bill since they were one of the main A stories...helped by Timon and Karla also having great chemistry.   I honestly think they were not counting on a full blown triangle where people are taking sides. Go 'head, Karla Mosley!!!
    • Like I said before, I was worried, but Jazmen really does have a thing for taking breakdown writers that are not my favorites and making lemonade out of lemons. I'm glad he's sticking around.   That said...I think today was the first time I found him having slang in his scripts jarring. Uh oh. lol.
    • Count me in on not wanting Bill/Dani to be end game. It takes two to tango, and I think that Dani wasn't this wounded bird in that marriage especially when it has been implied that she's been mentally unbalanced for sometime now (and I think that could be part of the reason Naomi is just damn angry all the time). Dani will break Andre's heart in the same way that Bill broke her heart.
    • I really hope the writers truly notice that Dani and Andre work and change plans. At the end of the day Bill was still a serial cheater and married his daughter’s best friend. Eva and Kat is my favorite rivalry on soaps.
    • You and me both. As it should be! Watching right now and just getting my life cuz their absence on my screen has been felt.
    • I would take her back as executive producer immediately (although, I do feel like Sally McDonald is doing well as co-executive producer). Josh Griffith as head writer is the most troublesome, but demos and ratings are solid, and that is what the suits look at for this soap, so unless a major slump happens, no changes will come. Plus, under Phelps, we did win Outstanding Drama Series twice (2014/2015) after a seven-year spell of not winning. But right now, I do believe where she is is right where she belongs, and I feel like she's happy being where she is.
