Members KBT
WOW! Those are well done.... I am from the south and like others have said saying "coke" at a restaurant means a carbonated beverage. I still cant get over the fact that the north doesnt serve sweet tea, its my favorite thing to drink when I am at a restaurant. [!@#$%^&*] Raspberry tea! Members Emily
I'm from the south, and when I go to a restaurant, I don't say "I want a coke" if I wanted a Mountain Dew. If I want a Mountain Dew, I'd say that I wanted a Mountain Dew. I haven't heard people use the expression "coke" in a restaurant per se because then they would get just that, a coke.. Maybe around the house or somewhere...but I don't use coke for every carbonated drink...especially Mountain Dew, Sprite, Big Red, etc..lol..
