Tanner Novlan (“The Bold and the Beautiful”) and wife Kayla Ewell (“The Bold and the Beautiful,” “The Vampire Diaries”) recently welcomed their second child, a boy, who they named Jones Douglas Novlan. Their little guy was born on Monday, June 6, coming in seven weeks early and weighing in at 3 lbs 9oz. He has an older sister, Poppy Marie Novlan, who turns three in July.

“He’s happy and healthy. Mom is doing great too,” commented Novlan who shared the news in a post on Instagram. “Thank you to Dr. Waldman, Dr. Valenton and the entire nicu nursing staff at Cedars Sinai for being so amazing.”

“He couldn’t wait to join us,” stated Ewell of their bundle of joy. “We’re still processing all of this but he & I are both healthy and we couldn’t be more excited to have him here with us,” she added.

Both posts by Novlan and Ewell have amassed nearly 100,000 combined likes and hundreds of replies from friends, family and fans, mere hours since announcing their happy news to the world.

Since 2020, Novlan has portrayed Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan on “B&B.” Ewell appeared on the soap as Caitlin Ramirez from 2004-2005. The couple wed in September 2015. They co-starred together in The CW drama “Roswell, New Mexico.”

“Congratulations Mom and Pop!!! 🙏🏼 Welcome to the world Jones!!” said Krista Allen who plays Taylor Hayes on “B&B.”

“Sending lots of love to Mom, Dad, Poppy and Baby Jones!” stated Casey Kasprzyk, supervising producer at “B&B.”

“That little hand!” said an adoring Nina Dobrev who worked with Ewell on “The Vampire Diaries.”

Been praying for you all❤ welcome to the world little one!” said Ashley Jones who plays Bridget Forrester on “B&B.”

      To be honest...I don't think it is her physical appearance that gives her a toothy look..I think its her  "Hello everyone...I'm a child STAR!!!! Aint I precious" and that smile she has plastered on her face during...every scene....I really think its more the directors fault...(I didnt notice any toothy smiles when she came back as an adult for that one day...) But it also could be the writing...any LOWHAD scenes should have been off limits to diabetic viewers. I think it really goes to show how lucky we were to have RM and BB as kid actors...they really went against that whole "Cutie pie" child actor thing and seemed real. What was with PG and the stupid island fetish they had? Though seeing Zimmer and Wyndham one upping each other would have been great.

      I'm watching an episode of Another World from 1990, and Rachel Cory is in San Cristobal searching for the truth about Mac past While in San Cristobal, wonder if Prince Richard will invite the esteemed Mrs. Mackenzie Cory to dinner at the palace. Or maybe Rachel might stumble onto a wet Reva Lewis washed up on the San Cristobal beaches.

      I was bummed at the time.  AMC had 3 books going so far as the introductions of Brooke and Dona Beck.  I think GH had 2 books.  I was anticipating more OLTL.  My guess is that they did not sell well.

      Roman sitting with Kayla, thanking John for raising his kids… and Josh saying goodbye to a lifelong friend - total tearjerker . Can’t wait to see Carrie, Sami, Hope, and Jennifer comforting Marlena. Bo and Marlena’s reunion is going to be so emotional. I guess because of the long-time rift between Deidre and Suzanne, we won’t get any Marlena and Maggie scenes? That’s really too bad. Maggie should be there.

      So far, Canada has been one day ahead for six episodes. @Toups @Errol  any official word on this? MVJ commented to a viewer on twitter:   from @iammskye1 I demand to be put in the same schedule with the Canadian #BeyondTheGates viewers. If that means dropping us two episodes in one day, one aired live and one on streaming, do what you gotta do, lol.
