Ashton Arbab, Fear the Walking Dead

Ashton Arbab (ex-Dev Cerci, “General Hospital”) will appear in AMC Network’s “Fear the Walking Dead” when the show returns for the second half of its seventh season beginning Sunday, April 17. The actor will portray Ali, a young ranger recruited by Howard (Omid Abtahi) to accompany Charlie as he tries to determine her true motivations. Ali was first referenced during the first half of the show’s current season when Howard tried reaching him at the armory.

According to AMC, the second half of the show’s seventh season reveals that months have passed after the nuclear blast and the only one thriving is Victor Strand (Colman Domingo). Having built a fiefdom, he callously selects who will have a chance at life. The other members of the group have suffered immensely, but out of that comes a fierce determination to live, even if it means taking Strand’s Tower by force and continuing the search for Padre, a mythical place no one is sure really exists. Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Care), now the reluctant leader of Teddy’s former followers, is plagued by a mysterious illness and the repercussions of her past actions. Meanwhile, Morgan (Lennie James), trying to maintain hope that he will be reunited with his family, knows Alicia is the key to their survival. With Alicia declaring war, Strand’s paranoia and personal vendettas grow, and with that, new threats emerge from all sides.

The first two episodes of the second half of season seven will be available to stream via AMC+ before the episode airs on AMC. Thereafter, subsequent episodes will be available on AMC+ one week ahead of the linear TV airing on AMC. The show’s season finale is set for Sunday, May 29.

Check out a sneak peek at what to expect during the show’s second half of season seven below.

“Fear the Walking Dead” airs Sundays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on AMC.
