This news was reported on Facebook today, in a vintage Y&R group. I hope it's not true (I haven't seen it reported anywhere else), but her husband is said to have left the following post and photo. Dear friends and fellow fans, I am heartbroken to share the passing of original cast member Pamela Peters (Peggy Brooks). Her husband posted the following photo and message: "The love of my life. The brightness in my life which is now so dimmer. In April I lost you and I miss you so much and I hope you are at peace. Lost Pam due to things beyond what was going on in her life. The original Peggy Brooks on The Young and the Restless and many more shows and commercials and then the creator of Chocolate Fortunes. So beautiful and a hell of a sense of humor. Great laugh, Great smile and Great compassion. You are my sidekick forever. Will miss you and all your sharp barbs. The angels are with you my beautiful angel. Fly safe and be happy. Much love and kisses forever. Please register in order to view this content
Has anyone else seen this reported? Janice Lynde has replied to the announcement: Janice Lynde Top contributor My Little Sister, our PumpkinSo sad to hear this, Pam… May you soar with the Angels -
While keeping up with the current show I’ve also been watching May and I finally got to Phillip’s beating. Was surprised they went so far but I loved it. A nice reminder that no matter how much you doll him up, Xander at his core is a thug. Great scenes between Xander and Sarah. I do enjoy them happy but they are an extremely toxic and untrusting couple. This was some of LG’s best work as Sarah.

The one that comes immediately to mind is that she obviously was still harboring resentment against Kate Linder. She tells a story of Linder meeting with producers to pitch a storyline about Esther dealing with Kay's death.

I think it shows a lack of imagination from Griffith and the people calling the shots. Yes, there are budgetary and physical limitations, but Griffith and team would rather make the laziest and quickest decisions than put a little more effort into the set situation. That said, B&B also seems to be in a similar set predicament. I know the plans for Y&R and B&B to move to a new studio were put on hold, but maybe a bigger space would remove some of these restrictions and give them more set variety. Someone should definitely revisit those plans. -
I thought my ears were hearing things wrong when I was working and listening to the show. But Lucky is leaving again already

. Please at this point don’t bring him back again. -
Did Carrie say her son was graduating from high school, or college, and that's why he and Austin couldn't make the trip to Salem? Does that mean Carrie's son is currently the same age as Sami's granddaughter? That's one nutty family….

Exactly this. I don't watch Days but on Y&R the lack of sets is directly cutting off story possibilities. -
I just meant because Drake and Wayne are very different actors at least from the clips that I’ve seen. Even with time between the two actors, it’s still a major role and love interest being recast. So I still stand by my question of I wonder how people in the 80’s felt when Drake took over as Roman. I defintely agree with Tomas and Derek being recast long before Ted.
