A sad month for me, lol. 

In all seriousness, my real issue is with Susan's episode count. This is not a character who should be in over half the episodes for the month. 

Besides that one complaint, I think the show has good balance. No one is dominating the show besides Deidre, which is whatever. I doubt anyone is too upset that she's driving the biggest story on the show right now. Let her be on 15 times a month every month.

I'm also glad to see Shawn and Belle being utilized more.

Wow...remember back when lead actors would have 150 (or more) episodes within a year? I know budget doesn't allow for it anymore, but I do miss how stories and characters intersected more. Now, characters are on little story islands and rarely interact with those outside their storyline. I assume they're working people at their minimums at this point. If I had one suggestion, it would be to maybe cut back on some of the "guest star" appearances. While fun, they do cut back on how much we can see the "regular cast."

People used to have 3-episode (150 per year) and 4-episode (200 per year) guarantees. Now the max "Days" seems to be giving out is 2-episode (100 per year) guarantees.

I saw an interview with RC where he said he can only have 12 characters per episode now. I miss those big wedding/town event scenes where most of the cast would be there.

Yeah, I saw the same mention of 12, but it varies all the time, so it must just be an average of 12 throughout the year.
