The Verzuz Thread: R&B and Hip Hop Icons “Battle” It Out Live

Not sure who has been following these events on Instagram via the @verzuztv account. These are staged live video “battles” between iconic R&B and hip hop artists who share similar lanes or were pit against each other in their eras, like Teddy Riley vs. Babyface, Erykah Badu vs. Jill Scott, Nelly vs. Ludacris, the list goes on. And the two icons sit down for a few hours, tell funny stories, share secrets, and try to one up each other by playing their biggest hits as people in the comments sing their praises. Basically every black celebrity imaginable, including Michelle Obama, watches and chimes in. Last time it was Brandy vs Monica, but this tops them all:
