“Let’s get this ball rolling,” says Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) in a mashup promo released by ABC honoring its commitment to airing encores of “General Hospital” as a way to stretch out what’s left of the original episodes that were filmed of the soap before the coronavirus pandemic shutdown production in March.

“It’s ‘GH’ Flashback Fridays,” says the promo’s announcer over clips of the show’s characters being cheerful and celebrating various events. “We’re digging into our vault and dusting off our classic episodes,” the promo continues. “Classic” being subjective, “GH” has so far only aired episodes from the last two years.

Flashback Fridays are expected to continue through at least Friday, May 22, per the network. No announcement has been made on what the network will air thereafter.

You can watch the promo below.
