“General Hospital” star Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) is heading to “The Talk@Home,” the virtual edition of CBS’ “The Talk,” when he appears on the Monday, April 20 episode.

The actor will be discussing his new book, “Nothing General About It: How Love (and Lithium) Saved Me On and Off General Hospital” which was released on April 7, 2020, wherever bookstores are sold.

The book has received enormous critical acclaim, including from Dr. Mehmet Oz (“The Dr. Oz Show”) who says, “This shocking true story is ‘General Hospital’ on anabolic steroids.”

Also appearing on “The Talk@Home” will be Taraji P. Henson as she discusses the finale of “Empire” and how much of an impact the show’s had on her life and those of its viewers. The “Empire” series finale airs Tuesday, April 21 on FOX.

“The Talk@Home” features hosts Carrie Ann Inaba, Sharon Osbourne, Eve, Sheryl Underwood and Marie Osmond in their homes as they give their opinions on today’s hot topics and catch up with what’s happening in the lives of their celebrity guests.

The talk show airs weekdays at 2:00 p.m. EDT/1:00 p.m. PDT on CBS.
