Members Huntress
That's great Manny Severina is a good performer. Has anybody seen Anzej Devan from Slovenia? He's so gay, it hurts He's cute and he can definetely sing, but the way he moves... oh my. I hate that most countries sing in English these days, the native languages usually sound sooo much better >> All preview videos on eurovision.tv My new ranking: 01. Finland "Hard Rock Hallelujah" (why does everyone consider Lordi as a bad choice for ESC? Okay, they wear monster masks... but what is so strange about that? The song is sooo good.) 02. Norway "Alvedansen" (It's so mystic and I love the Norwegian language) 03. Croatia "Moja stikla" (like I said, Severina is a good performer) 04. Albania "Zjarr E Ftohte" (maybe an outsider this year, but the song is above average) 05. Germany "No No Never" (loved it from the first second on) 06. Netherlands "Amambanda" (fantasy language helped Belgium a few years back so maybe the Netherlands will score high with that as well - I like it) 07. Belgium "Je T'adore" (Kate Ryan - do I need to say more ) 08. Iceland "Congratulations" (it has some Britney Spears on speed feeling) 09. Greece "Everything" (not a big fan of Anna Vissi but it's the best ballad this year) 10. Sweden "Evighet" (I love the Swedish version but it will be performed in English in Athens) 11.Turkey "Süper Star" 12. Andorra "Sense Tu" 13. Romania "Tornero" 14. Macedonia "Ninanananja" 15. United Kingdom "Teenage Life" Bottom five: Cyprus Lithuania Latvia Belarus Portugal

Members Huntress
My last ranking before the semi finale (although I fear that Albania, Andorra, Netherlands, Slovenia and Poland will not get to the finale - too bad that awful songs like Moldova, Latvia and Switzerland block places in the finale): 01. Norway 02. Finland 03. Albania 04. Germany 05. United Kingdom 06. Croatia 07. Poland 08. Belgium 09. Iceland 10. FYR Macedonia 11. Netherlands 12. Slovenia 13. Andorra 14. France 15. Greece 16. Ireland 17. Bosnia & Herzegowina 18. Monaco 19. Romania 20. Sweden 21. Malta 22. Turkey 23. Denmark 24. Armenia 25. Bulgaria 26. Estonia 27. Ukraine 28. Spain 29. Russia 30. Switzerland 31. Israel Zero points for these songs... xx. Moldova xx. Lithuania xx. Cyprus xx. Portugal xx. Belarus xx. Latvia

Members Huntress
The semi finale is next Thursday, and the finale is on Saturday. I'm pretty sure Severina will end up in the top five. But this year it's hard because there are sooo many good songs and I want more than 10 songs from the semi in the real finale. But instead of Albania, Andorra, Poland and Netherlands, it will most likely be Turkey, Russia, Sweden and Armenia qualifying among Belgium, Finland, Iceland, Macedonia, Bosnia & Herzegovina - and Cyprus. >> Severina's music video
Members Manny
Wait, the finale is in one week? Really?! Wow... well I better watch and see how Severina does... lol Everyone is saying she'll be in top , but I'm not so sure.. I still can't believe it... lol But we'll see! Members Huntress
The rehearsals are in full stage these days. This is for you, Manny Apart from Croatia, Germany, UK and Norway are the most promising contenders from the finale, with Greece, Romania and Malta coming close behind. From the semi finale, it seems that Sweden, Russia, Bosnia & Herzegowina and Finland will most likely qualify. The rest is still on the bubble. Andorra, Monaco and Belarus won't have a big chance since their rehearsals have been horrible. In the finale, France, Moldavia and Spain are considered to be the worst so far. Members Huntress
Oh my God, the results of the semi finale were absolutely shocking. These countries have qualified for the finale: Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, Sweden, Bosnia & Herzegowina, Ireland, FYR Macedonia, Armenia - and Lithuania. I'm fine with the first seven - but Macedonia's and Armenia's performances were soo weak. Lithuania's song is just awful. Former fan favourites Iceland, Belgium and Slovenia did not qualify along with Bulgaria, Andorra, Albania, Cyprus, Poland, Estonia, Belarus, Monaco, Netherlands and Portugal. Members Manny
I watched bits and pieces last night of the semifinals... And it was mostly bad IMO... But I actually liked Armenia song... I didn't like most of the songs, but okay... I'll be cheering for Severina tomorrow anyways, so I don't really care! Even if I don't really like Severina's song! She's from Croatia, and I have to cheer for my presenter, right?
Members Huntress
FINLAND WON! It was a great show, but the voting was very disappointing. Besides Finland, which I really like as a winner, I don't know why songs like Lithuania, Ukraine or Armenia reached the Top10. Out of the Big4, Germany reached the highest position with #14, the same as Norway - a very disappointing result for both countries. Malta only got 1 point and finished last. Here are the overall results: 01. Finland (292) 02. Russia (248) 03. Bosnia & Herzegowina (229) 04. Romania (172) 05. Sweden (170) 06. Lithuania (162) 07. Ukraine (145) 08. Armenia (129) 09. Greece (128) 10. Ireland (93) 11. Turkey (91) 12. Croatia (56) 13. FYROM (56) 14. Germany (36) == Norway (36) 16. Switzerland (30) == Latvia (30) 18. Denmark (26) 19. United Kingdom (25) 20. Moldova (22) 21. Spain (18) 22. France (5) 23. Israel (4) 24. Malta (1)
Members FrenchFan
As always, France is in the last ones. Of course, we have a ridiculous song, a ridiculous and stupid singer and what a choregraphy! (she did not move a single finger, stupid cow!). French TV does its best each year in order France not to win because the competition would be scheduled to be organized in France the following year. I really wished I were not French so as not to understand the lyrics ("je n'y croyais plus et j'ai de la peine à y croire encore = I did no longer believe it and it's hard to believe it again). Monaco and Armenia gave us points only because of friendships or politics relationships. We would have deserved only 0 point!
