The Legend of Tarzan

Just as I suspected, this movie will be worth watching for Skarsgård's abs and the fact that it was directed by David Yates.

The first official stills, featuring Alexander Skarsgård as the main man Tarzan, were released on Wednesday and they're heavenly.

Here he is alongside Margot Robbie, who plays Jane in the film, and we think you'll agree the side profile is just as important.

I liked Tarzan as a kid and read a few of the book up until he had a son.   I think it is a really solid premise but rarely gets a good movie.  Greystoke I enjoyed alot, and there is a charm to the original Weismuller version, but other than that these don't turn out so great.   I'll see it.

Thank goodness they didn't cast Amanda Seyfried or Jessica Chastin in this. I'm starting to feel like it's the same 20 actresses in all of these Hollywood films.

Here's the second trailer and I have to admit it makes the movie look much better than I thought it would be. Still only considering it for the abs (it seems he'll be naked basically the whole movie) and David Yates.
