Members quartermainefan Posted January 2, 2014 Members Share Posted January 2, 2014 This looks like just a silly "weepy" to not be taken seriously (as are most hollywood melodramas of this sort) but it was excellent. The scene at the end where the daughter returns in time for the funeral and starts crying put a lump in my throat, and I also loved them both in the scene where she tells the mother to pretend to be the maid in front of her friends.
