Maybe explore the dating world (perhaps a new character just for her). Tad and Dixie has been done before, there's no need to have them get back together only to divorce once again. They only get divorced when either Cady or Michael leaves. The key is to get the actors to stay! I think Tad and Dixie are the best couple AMC ever had and I definitely want to see them back together.
